WILLOW: We were acting out a geometry problem, 'cause I read this really neat article that said kids learn math better if you, you stimulate their, uh, visual learning pattern. You know, using the right side of the brain instead of just the left? Stuff like that.
BUFFY: Uh-huh.
WILLOW: So we made a triangle with our bodies, and that's when I called Xander obtuse, and he got really grumpy, and then Dawn said we were "acute" triangle, and, well, hilarity ensued.

Since I was telling you guys about The Silent Alpha (listening to it on DreameFM), i figured I might share a little on the first book in the series, The Ivory Queen? I actually think both stories are quality and was mostly juat gossiping on all the juicy drama parts haha
The Ivory Queen is about a Mexican-American girl named Aurora Montenegro who's father Emiliano is killed by rogue wolves on her 13th birthday, and when her pack finds her with the body they immediately blame her. Since your 13th birthday is your first shift, they automatically assume she went feral and killed her father, and the entire pack, the Lluvia Blanca pack, spends the next 5 years absolutely torturing her, even by her mother and siblings. She's beaten up, kept in a basement, denied proper food, forced to work as a slave, and denied ever being able to shift which makes her incredibly weak on top of already being malnourished. This isnt even to touch on stuff like, "oh her brother Chava once locked her in a closet and used his illusion powers to make her see rogues like the ones who killed her father and left her like that for hours and then he dragged her out covered in her own piss and shit because she'd literally been losing control of her bladder and bowels in terror after being in there so long and he dragged her in front of other people and then everyone mocked her during this extremely traumatizing experience and after the fact some of them literally threw diapers at her, for MONTHS". Like. jesus fucking christ dude. Kill all of them maybe? Like Im starting to adore the idea of a Reader who was horrifically abused and just goes "fuck this high horse bullshit, hey new mate, you're a powerful wolf and you love me? Kill these bitches to prove it. Make them suffer"
When Aurora finally meets her mate, Alpha Olivier of River Moon Pack, he rejects her because he recognizes her and has heard all the awful rumors, but soon, he actually regrets his decision and vows that he wants to see who she really is and they team up to not only get her away from her abusive pack and family, solve the mystery of her father's death, but also discover an even deeper plot of a looming war, a prophecy, and the truth surrounding her heritage
The story is not only well written and well voice acted but also contains decent amounts of representation (like Olivier is French, and he has his pack cook traditional Mexican food for Aurora when she first arrives which literally makes her sob with gratitude because she hasn't had home cooked Mexican food since before her father died) and also naturally covers subjects like women's rights and things are written in a mature and realistic tone (like another conversation with a Luna named Kehlani opening up that she felt like her breasts were too low and far apart after giving birth, and it's like God that is such an actual realistic female struggle. a lot of these other authors just kind of, idk, some of these stories are like comparing potato chips to a full course meal kwim? Emotional journeys vs popcorn literature YA novels)
Oh. I will say though. One of the horrible things to happens to Aurora is that she is and had been sexually assaulted by another member of this pack and this does happen in written detail so, if that is triggering for you you may need to skip any interactions with that character (who's name i can't remember but you'll be able to tell because he's openly creepy and before the assault happens Aurora already let's the reader know, he's a guy who "does unspeakable things to me I can't talk about")
Like it is very dark. She gets knocked out and wakes up with her attacker already on top of her, already in the midst of it while she was blacked out, and interestingly, this is a story where the mate bond also transfers pain, so, Olivier experiences the pain of, well, being an assaulted woman, and that deepens his love, respect, and sympathy for Aurora and her strength to survive. But I also don't like that Aurora also had to lowkey provide comfort to Olivier for something that happened to her after the fact, like it isn't like forced upon her ,she wants to comfort him, but it's like... that happened to HER, idk, Olivier getting attention for the issue makes me feel kinda weird
Either way it's a cute story about finding love and acceptance when you feel like you have nowhere you belong and feel like everyone hates you and sees you as nothing. A nice read and a nice story, albeit a little long ^^;

soy la gata bajo la lluvia
I can't remember the last time I was in love... I remember moments when I was loved, but not the last time... it's been a while.
im amazed at how difficult it has been to find love, romantic love. is it really this hard to find someone that cares about you the same as you do them? or is it me? am I not good enough to be loved? to be wanted?
for more than a year i have been trying to better myself, to be the best version of me that I can be. and its been really rewarding, im able to do things that I never imagined I could actually do, and there's still so much I want to do! however, i think ive reached a wall... there's no one i can really share these things with. I can share my endeavors with my friends, or talk about it at work, or post about things online but nothing beats the feeling of doing something and receiving a hug right after or getting a kiss as a thank you, feeling that burst of pride from someone you love... that has to be one of the most rewarding things you can experience.
Im very conflicted about this, because on the one hand, without my loneliness I wouldn't have tried or picked up half the shit im into right now, but now that im here, its my loneliness that stops me from moving forward. it takes up so much space in my head that it immobilizes me some days. but again, being able to be with myself and truly enjoy my company is one of the coolest things ive learned to do recently. I go out on my own and have days where all i do is sit with my thoughts, listen to music i love and discover new music, try different food, etc etc etc... point is that love and loneliness are both things that are so complicated and can be both rewarding and devastating.
I have learned to wait for things. no app can fill my heart with love, and no app can cure my loneliness, if i must sit and wait forever to love and be loved again that's what I'll do. i'll fall in love with the idea of being in love, and when i inevitably get lonely, ill look toward those who have been there for me, past and present and continue for them. today i may have felt lonely, but maybe i wont feel that tomorrow... i guess i have to wait and see.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. Remember when Christer rejected “Higher ground” from Melfest and it was the fucking WORST Melfest ever? Remember how Denmark recycled it and let it win DMGP? Well...
OOOOOOOOOOOOOWNED SO HARD!! and not just Sweden to be honest, because “Higher ground” slaps, even a full year after the fact. It’s a paragon of righteous scandi energy, conceived in a mancave over a keg of mead, inspired by a tale of medival pacifism (which actually makes it non-toxicly masculine), imprinted on by Game of Thrones (a wonderful tv series that ended when the White Walkers melted down the ice wall and murdered everybody in Westeros ^__^)
In a nutshell, an absolutely kick ass entry.
Truth be told, it is IMPOSSIBLE to not get up from my chair, pound my chest and march along with the Old Norse (😍) post-chorus chanting. Rasmussen DELIVERS a performance so intense it rips the space/time continuum and creates a portal to the good old Viking days. 100% deserving of being 2018′s KEiiNO and the highest Danish entry on this ranking!

Years of being awesome clearly took their toll on poor Pasha, but I will cherish him for the fountain of fun he has always been. “Lăutar” is such an uninhibited display for Moldovan FOLK, bringing out the dulcimers, horns and “drampets” to bring a much-needed ethic palate cleanser after the musical genocide committed on the Baku Stage. It also features some of the best dance choreography found in this decade, in which Pasha and dancers hop around the stage like overexcited gerbils <3
(btw: the pink dancer SLAYS me every single time.)
Such a frivolous, playful, adorable act that radiates mirth from every pore. 😍 But wait, we aren’t done, because “ Lăutar” also features some of the more memorable, hilarious, iconic butcherings of the English language found in this decade (”You haven’t seen before the looks like drampet. 😍 Butter sound go straight to ur soul”😍). It certainly helps that Pasha is like a male Ruslana, struggling to express himself and resulting some hilarious awkward interview gold (Eurovision.tv: “Pasha, what is your secret for happiness” Pasha: “Make good sex ^__^” Eurovision.tv: “. . .” 😍)
Naturally, a Pasha write-up cannot be finished without noting how central he is to ‘Moldova in Eurovision’, almost as much as Moldova’s staging is. This little man’s (literally. He’s like 1.65m lol) musical legacy includes:
- writing and performing Lăutar in 2012
- being a former vocalist for Sunstroke Project
- being the mentor of Aliona Moon and writing her 2013 song
- being the original songwriter for DoReDoS before Kirkorov took over
In other words, he is ~CONNECTED~ to every epic, high-tier Moldovan entry. WHAT AN ICON. Stay Safe Pavel!!

Man I do love my narrative entries, and it doesn’t get much better than an old man reflecting back on his life’s had, satisfied with its outcome. It’s such a c00t premise and Dino Merlin plays the part of the adorable grandfather with conviction. 😍 Even manages to transform Maja Sar into a fun hume for once:
“Love in rewind” really is all about the group effort. Dino himself is of course fantastic and makes this performance, but his troupe of ragtag troubadours carry a lot of weight as well, providing a wackadoodle wonderland for Dino to project his nostalgia onto.
And then there’s the question of “Love in rewind” itself. It is easy to lump it in with all the other frivolous folk, but in reality it’s an experimental avant garde song disguised as folk 😈 (exactly like “Putnici”, in fact!). The song is made into an artform by a few unorthodox, sudden key changes. Key changes hated by the millennial wannabe pitchfork crew, but here at BorisBubbles we don’t support weakness so let’s wave them all goodbye in celebration of what is easily Bosnia’s best Eurovision entry:

As a shameless EDM Hound, I have to admit that I am totally smitten by this piece of electronic undergroundness. A wonderful epileptic seizure of pitch black and lavender, executed to perfection by Aleksander Wallman. “Grab the moment” offers show-stopping visual effects, great vocal execution and an additctive beat. THE TRIPLE THREAT OF LIVE MUSIC!
Fortunately, there’s also a great underlying message. I haven’t really talked about the Mental Health Anthem all that much in this ranking, but that’s mostly because I haven’t ranked most of them yet. Any song that inspires people to believe in themselves, that it is okay to be imperfect and that tackles social issues such as procrastination and neurosis HEAD ON and WITH RESPECT, deserves praise.
Which is exactly what JOWST & Aleksander do, specifically by addressing young heterosexual men. 😍 (ie: the demograph that is the least likely to reach out for a support when they need it). They do this very cleverly, by using teenspeak to discuss the ever-relatable theme crippling anxiety and how to lay it aside and get shit done. 🤜🤛 so let us all

Ruth. Yo quiero ser Ruth. Because Ruth is emblematic of Spain’s biggest (only) strength in Eurovision: the LOUD OVERDRAMATIC SCREECHING POWERBALLAD 😍 There are so many precedents to Ruth, from “Él” to “Vuelve Conmigo” to “Bailar pegados” to “Quedate conmigo” but “Dancing in the rain” may be my favourite of the lot. In part because Ruth is a GODDESS and I was *invested* in her success the second she won the NF:
Which she then followed up by forming a backstage bitch coven with Conchita and Suzy. 😍 Excuse me for a moment, I have to lay myself down and blow myself with a fan because that alliance contains so much awesomeness it gives me palpitations.
But I mostly love “Dancing in the rain” because of the performance. It’s a great composition in its own right, providing intense screaminess, well-executed language changes and of course, literal stage rain. 😍 However, Ruth is SO intense in her delivery it becomes a moment of contemplation, of exaltation, and of stupefication as Ruth’s SONIC ENERGY washes over us like a tsunami of sound. DENMARK
The only people who like Denmark in this decade are those with negative taste and no self-respect and those desperately wanting to be Swedes but never will be Swedes (ie: Danes)
MOLDOVA
Not a ‘perfect’ track record, but still an excellent showing for a country with so few resources. Moldova is one of my favourite countries in ESC and this chart should show you why.
BOSNIA - HERZEGOVINA
Bosnia - Herzegovina participated four times in this decade and were epic exactly once. Thank you for that... now I normally would add that I miss them but, nah. Bye.
SPAIN
I am honestly shocked Spain didn’t do worse on my ranking?? I don’t think they’re like.. a ‘TERRIBLE’ esc country the way Ireland and Montenegro are, but jesus fuck out of the cavalcade of incompetent countries that have no idea what the fuck they’re doing, Spain is the giantslewofincompetentcountriesthathavenoideawhatthefuckthey’redoingest. Which is puzzling given that all of their high results come from kickass female-fronted powerballads, ie: the easiest trope to nail. (case in point: Macedonia scored a top 10 with one. Macedonia.) JUST STICK TO THOSE and ditch the wannabe reggaetons.

Jesus, Queen is the band that gave me strenght in difficult times. I’ve been listening to Queen since I was in the womb (no seriously, my mom put her earbuds in her tummy to calm me). They’re my heroes.

Again, so many it’s so hard to choose. My fave albums are “Los Bunkers”, “Barrio Estación” and “Música Libre”. Bc of nostalgia and teenage years a few of my fave songs are “Miño”, “La Culpa”, “Cura de Espanto”, “Llueve Sobre La Ciudad” and “Sabes Qué”.
Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad?
A bunch, actually. Funny bc back in that time people didn’t pay much attention to Nirvana’s lyrics, but for me they had a huge impact. Songs like “Dumb”, “Lithium”, “Been A Son”, “Vendetagainst” and “Oh the Guilt” make me hurt a little bit.

How did you first get into 2?
My first crush, when I was like 13, introduced me to this whole new world of heavy metal and underground bands. Thanks to him I listen to Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Crystal Castles, Radiohead and Tujiko Noriko.
How did you get into 10?
I mean if you grew up in my family you’ll know about bands like Illapu, Sol y Lluvia, Los Jaivas and Quilapayún. They didn’t listen that much to Víctor Jara and Violeta Parra, but I wanted to know more about my folklore and my country’s history, so I sorta “discovered” on my own more about Víctor, and now almost all my family is a huge fan like me. (Btw todos estábamos emocionadísimos en el homenaje que Illapu le hizo a Víctor Jara en el festival).

My FT questions answers
So regarding my previous post here are my answers to my Fairy Tail Questionnaire.
1. How did you first heard about Fairy Tail?
From my friend Beth. I saw how much she liked it and when she suggested that I check it out I did. I have been hooked ever since. And it’s become my favorite anime of all time, because I never have been more emotionally invested in an anime before.
2. Do read the manga, watch the anime, or both?
I do both. Haven’t been watching the anime lately, but I’ve been keeping up with the manga now. BUT I HATE SPOILERS, SO DON’T TELL ME ANYTHING UNTIL THE TRANSLATION COMES OUT!
3. Who are your favorite character(s)?
I really love all of them, but my top 3 are:
Levy McGarden, I like her because she’s a fellow bookworm, she’s cute, intelligent, and really needs to be the focus more often.
Pantherlily. I love how he can go from this big creature, yet can change back into this small cute thing. He’s bad ass and adorable. I call him Badorable.
And really my absolute favorite character is Gajeel Redfox.
I could really talk for hours on why he’s my favorite, but to sum up I like him because he’s a complex character.
A Complex character, also known as a Dynamic character or a Round character displays the following characteristics:
He or she undergoes an important change as the plot unfolds.
The changes he or she experiences occur because of his or her actions or experiences in the story.
Changes in the character may be good or bad.
The character is highly developed and complex, meaning they have a variety of traits and different sides to their personality.
Some of their character traits may create conflict in the character.
He or she displays strengths, weaknesses, and a full range of emotions.
He or she has significant interactions with other characters.
He or she advances the plot or develops a major theme in the text.
Gajeel has done most of those things on that list.
And to be honest when he first appeared I really didn’t hate him. Yes what he did was wrong, especially regarding Team Shadowgear, but I had this small feeling, ever since I found out that he was a Dragon Slayer that he was going to be an ally to Fairy Tail, never expected him to join though. I’m so glad he did!
4. What is a character or characters that you absolutely hate? And not even love to hate, you wish they were never in the story to begin with.
Future Rogue. That bastard kill Future Lucy, and I will never forgive him for that. Even if he apologized. Seriously I cried so hard when I watched that part in the anime.
5. Do you own any FT merchandise?
The first 20 volumes of the manga, a Capricorn key charm, Natsu plush, Lily plush, small Happy loaf plush or Tsum Tsum, a Mirajane keychain, a Gajeel keychain, a notebook, exceed bracelet, a FT symbol keychain, a wallet, and 2 T-shirts.

I’m a NaLu fan that does not hate Lisanna at all. I hate how so many Nalu fans hate her just because she “gets in the way of NaLu”.
That’s one thing that bothers me with any fandom. When people hate on a character just because they get in they way of their precious OTP.
I’ve said it before, but I think that is a stupid reason to hate a character. If the only reason you hate a character is because they ruin a ship for you, kindly go back into your small corner of the world, where you can bitch and complain all you want like the immature brat that you are.
The rest of us adults, are going to ship what we want, and respect each other’s choices, and not hate on character solely for that purpose.
Lisanna did nothing wrong, and all those fan fics that portray her as this bitchy chick who “steals” Natsu from Lucy and makes Lucy all depressed and shit makes me want to gouge my eyes out every time I read one.
I respect the fact that some people don’t ship NaLu, I respect the fact that I don’t ship NaLi.

13. What is one thing about FT that pisses you off?
So many unanswered questions, for example WHERE THE HELL IS LAXUS’S MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER?! I KNOW HOW BABIES ARE MADE SO HOW THE HELL CAN IVAN AND LAXUS EXIST WITHOUT A MOTHER?!
At least we know about Makarov’s mom now.
And we do know more of the dragon slayers’ past, but I still have my headcanons about their biological parents, or at least Gajeel and Wendy’s. Like how Metalicana and Grandeeny found them. Let me know if you want to hear them. Bear in mind they are quite depressing.Don’t have any for Sting and Rouge. And as for Natsu, well I did have one, but that went out the window and I think you know why.
14. If you could put the FT cast into another show what would it be and why?
It’s a weird choice but I chose Scrubs. I could just see it.
Natsu=JD (It be funny to see Natsu have all those crazy daydreams, wouldn’t it?)
Lucy=Elliot (If Natsu and Lucy did live in another universe, I think they would be an on again off again couple until they were ready to be with each other.)
Juvia=Carla (Putting Carla as Carla would be too obvious, and I know it doesn’t exactly match up, but I have this headcanon that Juvia can speak Spanish, because Juvia;s name is the Japanese spelling for the Spanish word rain or lluvia)
Gray=Turk (I know it doesn’t really fit, but had to keep him and Juvia together.)
Laxus= Dr,Cox (Can you just imagine how funny it be if Laxus did a Cox rant?)
Cana=Jordan (I feel a relationship between Laxus and Cana would be like the one Jordan has with Dr.Cox)
Gajeel=Janitor (One of the best characters in the show, and it be funny to see Gajeel prank Natsu)
Levy=Lady (She’s the Janitor’s girlfriend and later wife in Season 8)
Hades= Dr. Kelso (Hades is evil but a recent chapter in the Tartarus arc showed that he kind of still has a heart, so that’s why I picked him)
Freed=Ted (I just think it be funny)
Loke=The Todd (both are bit of playboys and be funny to see Loke question his sexuality)
I do have others, but they’re only characters that appeared in one or two seasons so I’m not going to bother.
15. What are some musicals you put the FT cast in? (I only put this question in cause I’m a theatre geek)
Shrek the musical
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Hairspray
Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper
Barbie as the Island Princess
Barbie and the Diamond Castle
If you want I can tell you who I would have play each part. Some I’m still figuring out, so not all roles have been cast yet.
16. Do you cosplay or plan on cosplaying any of the characters?
I cosplay as Mira(no pictures available) and Levy which I do have pictures of on my DeviantART account. Let me know if you want to see it.

Now all I need is a Gajeel.
17. What are your favorite arcs?
Phantom Lord, Fighting Festival, Edolas, Tenrou Island, Key of the Starry Sky, Grand Magic Games, and Alvarez.
What do they all have in common? There is focus on Gajeel in all of them. Some more than others.

Fairy Tail, duh.

Singing magic, like a Siren. I would sing and hypnotize people and when there out of it, attack them.
