Heavenly Delusion Episode 12: Outside of The Outside

One episode away from the end of the season. It's really something to realize that. One more episode left in this series, for now. And there's still a mountain of questions and curiosities and mysteries and foreshadowing and symbolism. And I'd love to go over it all that rests within this episode.
So, for the uninitiated, a degree of foresight exists within essentially all the children of Takahara academy. An ability to sense the future rather than see it, and interestingly enough this is the first time that it appears with Tokio, as we start off in a dream of hers. I like the unsettling nature of it, how the students are all rather different in disposition to how they usually are, and how expressive the Miina terminal is. More than that though, I'm curious about the organization of the students. Most importantly, Kona isn't there. And alongside that, there's two halves to the students.
Could this be an answer of who all becomes a Hiruko? We know Mimihime is predisposed to it, and we know that Kuku most likely becomes the fish Hiruko we saw early on. Similarly, with the info from the prior episode with the pairings, we know that either Taka or Anzu will become a Hiruko, but considering the side that each appears on, it would seem that it's Taka's fate to turn into a monster.

But within that, we get a potential contradiction as we awake from Tokio's dream. Mimihime and Shiro, and Anzu and Taka are sharing a lunch together talking about Tokio returning finally. Aside from the napkins of Taka and Shiro being a nice detail to reflect their personalities, it's Anzu and Mimihime here who are eating their sandwiches with those deep red tomatoes on them. You can't help but notice that Mimihime's tomatoes are spilling out though, while Anzu's remain intact. Mimihime's are more symbolism for the inability to remain untouched/whole, but I'm unsure of the purpose of Anzu's.

Anyways, that sandwich is used once again rather quickly, and ties in quite well to the overall story of this episode. Takahara academy comes under attack, and the group must run to safety as the entire facility begins to panic. This scene of Mimihime's sandwich being crushed under the debris though paints a pretty clear picture. If Mimihime's bite allowed for no return, the destruction of the sandwich clearly sends an even stronger version of the message. Whether it's to Mimihime becoming a Hiruko, or the destruction and change of her life through this episode, it is an irreversible change that shakes the foundations of her life.

As destruction rains down on Takahara Academy however, we're returned to Kiruko and Maru as the former places the Ibaraki facility in their sights. I really love how they open this sequence with Kiruko pushed to the far right of the frame to show her determination for moving on, while Maru's hand occupies the left as a belt slips from his grasp, showing how he's losing Kiruko to her past.

Following this, we get into the meat and potatoes of the episode, as the pair explore the town that's appeared around the Ibaraki facility. This is all incredibly fresh in my mind as I'd just read volume 5, so I'm only going to pick out the pieces that I think are important in terms of foreshadowing in the like, starting with their "chips", the form of local currency they use.
Simply put, it appears like a puzzle. The notches on the end of the wood all differ, and even the color of the wood itself changes. Similarly, there's not a single repeat color or pattern in the bunch. Immediately, the designs remind me of technology and the sort of branching out we see from Maru in the opening. There's absolutely something greater with these pieces of currency, but I can't find an answer as to how they should be pieced together.

Moving forward from this curiosity though, I love the direction with Kiruko as she finds out that Robin is here in this town. The use of her running scenes that appear from later on in the episode to show her desperation and desire are a great piece, and the fact that Maru isn't in those scenes only adds to how much distance the put between the pair as they return to their room for the evening. Really well done at naturally driving a stake between the duo.

Following this separation, we get to the pieces of Kiruko running that we saw earlier on, as they make her way to the Ibaraki facility. It's a well done emotional moment that captures a lot of Haruki's emotions. I think it's an important distinction they make through it all, because Robin is only shocked to see Kiriko, as the episode uses the shadows to darken Kiruko's hair to make them appear more like Kiriko.

Of course, it wouldn't be Heavenly Delusion if we weren't jumping all over the map, so we return to the Takahara Academy as they panic amongst the destruction. It's neither here nor there, the director gets out of her wheelchair and runs for her life, which is funny, but it's not the takeaway. The scene that separates Kona from Mimihime, Shiro, Anzu, and Taka is.
They really like these balanced and separated shots through the episode. Placing Kona by himself with the younger students that flank him, and the group of four that goes off to investigate the wall, really makes you think about why they were placed like they were. Why the four students appeared in Tokio's dream, but not Kona. Given the ending of the episode, I have a real sinking suspicion about what fate Kona will meet while at the pool.

And just a quick little addition, we see where Maru gets his name from! Sawatari places a circle on the one child's foot so that he can discern which is which, and apparently that ends up sticking.

As quickly as we join Takahara academy, we leave just as the group of four set out to explore the hole in the wall, and return to Kiruko at the Ibaraki facility, where we get some more interesting pieces in regards to our logo. The first appears on what seems to be a plaque denoting this as the "Takahara Academy: Ibaraki Facility", while the second is found on an interesting sheet of paper titled "Natural Wealth Operation". I'm pretty sure people grasp that NWO can also be interpreted as "New World Order", which gives a glimpse into how the Academy operated under prying eyes.

Regardless, both of which sport a different logo to the Kiru Beam. The bird is more upright/vertical in the above images, with the smaller circle being full and lower within the larger circle when compared to the logo that Kiruko and Maru have been carrying around.

This paints an interesting and curious picture. How old is the Ibaraki Facility? Was it being used prior to the collapse/apocalyptic event? Is it possible that the Ibaraki facility was foresaken prior to the current state of the Takahara Academy? I think it's entirely possible, considering what it is that Robin claims to have found within. Considering the "current" standpoint of creating immortal bodies for people to swap into, it's pretty well removed from work with plants and agriculture.
Anyways, the episode begins to reveal Robin's sinister side as we come back to the students that made it outside of the outside, through the hole in the wall they saw. It's a really great piece, and is used well in opposition to Kiruko's situation (side note: I'm not a massive fan of it, so I'm hoping the next episode better contextualizes the purpose for her trauma here). That is, the children have found a way to indescribable freedom, while Kiruko is trapped and locked away due to Robin.
What further ties these two together though is those tomatoes. The ones the children worked so hard to cultivate. Those spotless and pure tomatoes that exist within the academy. That begin to get cut open, to bleed. To irreversibly become damaged and forever changed.

If this episode didn't make it clear, it's all about the convergence of our two timelines, not in terms of chronology or order of events per se, but rather their experience. Bringing each to their climax, finding different things waiting for them and creating stories that serve to oppose one another as we come ever closer to understanding what it is that's going on.
The direction remains stellar, storyboarding is incredible, the original scenes (that I know of) work amazingly well, the animation is top notch, the characters are outstanding. It's all the praise I've ever had for the series, appearing once more like it's nothing but another Saturday. I absolutely can't wait to see how we end this season with the next episode.

When a wave takes you by surprise at the beach and you accidentally swallow a nasty gulp of salt water, that nasty taste isn’t just salt. Photographer David Littschwager captured this amazing shot of a single drop of seawater magnified 25 times to reveal an entire ecosystem of crab larva, diatoms, bacteria, fish eggs, zooplankton, and even worms. Marine Microfauna – part of the contents of one dip of a hand net. The magnification was 2x life size, meaning that the actual frame size was a half inch high, so depending on how big the image is on your screen you can calculate the magnification as you see it. To keep as much focus as possible the sample is in as little water as possible just covering the bottom of a 60mm petri dish. That takes about 15 drops of water, but you are only seeing a very small portion of the total sample.

Icelandic whales and ecotype
I’ve seen some claims going around that the Icelandic whales displayed in zoos and aquariums for the past several decades are actually two different ecotypes, with some being “North Atlantic type 1″ and a few others being “North Atlantic type 2″.
I think this is completely wrong, and will show you why.
Above are an assortment of ecotype infographics.
As you can see, “type 1″ are the typical whale you’ll find off Iceland and Norway. They eat mainly herring and other small fish (though some individuals have been observed taking seals), and males typically range from 6.2-6.6 meters, females, around 5.5 meters.
They have clear saddlepatches, and tend to have eyepatches like this:

As the closeup of the map image (last image in the collection above) shows, “type 1″ orcas are also in turn split into type A and B. Type “1A”, if you will, follow exactly the range of where Icelandic whales were caught, and along the Norwegian coast (this eyepatch collage is of both Icelandic and Norwegian whales).
As all the other ecotype infographics show, “type 1″ live off Iceland, Norway, with a couple pointing out that they may range as far south as Scotland and Ireland.

“Type 2″ on the other hand, is huge, one of the largest killer whales anywhere on Earth (after Antarctic type A). Males are 7.5-8.5 meters long, females 6.5-7 meters. They have distinctive downwards sloping eyepatches (like sad eyebrows, seen above), faint saddlepatches, are are very rarely seen, range around Britain, Ireland, the Faroes, and occasionally as far as Svalbard - not Iceland or Norway. They are mammal-eaters, specializing in minke whales as prey. Today, only a few of them remain.
The claim is then, that some of our Icelanders in human care are secretly, actually, type 2.
Let’s look at them. I have gathered all the whales caught in Iceland into a large collage, here split for ease of viewing. The only named whales I couldn’t get good enough images of were Canuck 2, Magnus and Benkei 2.
If the whale is still alive or died as an adult, I will provide measurements, if known.
I originally wrote descriptions for all the following whales, but it got tiring, repetitive, and too lengthy.

Kim, Gudrun, Kenau, Kandu 5, Hoi Wai, Kona 2, Winnie, Betty, Kahana, and Kasatka.
All of very typical “type 1″ looks.
Kim
Gudrun has no measurements available, but as can be seen when she lived at SeaWorld as a full-grown female, she was not large.
Kenau was caught with Gudrun. She was 5.5 meters long when she died at age 16.
Kandu 5. Interestingly, Orkid is the only whale in human care who has anything like the type 2 eyepatch, but she’s the daughter of Kandu who does not, and a Northern resident (Canadian) father who also did not. Kandu measured under 5.4 meters when she died.
Hoi Wai
Kona 2 was likely caught with Kandu 5, had enormous, distinct eyepatches, and she was 5.5 meters long at the time of death.
Winnie was caught with Hoi Wai as said, had a typical Icelandic eyepatch, and the same size and shape as other Icelandic females she lived with.
Betty was caught along with Katina, so they were likely pod mates.
Kahana was caught with Kasatka. She was particularly petite, measuring barely 5.1 meters when she died aged 15.
Kasatka was a mere 5.2 meters long, and looks nothing like a type 2 whale.

Shawn
Kotar was 17-18 years old when he died, and measured 6.4 meters at the time of his death.
Katina is a typical, squat and stocky Icelandic whale with large eyepatches. She is just barely 5.5 meters long.
Dzul-ha
Caren was just 10-11 years old when she died, and measured 5 meters long.
Kiska was a larger female at 6 meters. Large for a type 1, but nowhere near the 6.5-7 meter type 2 females.
Keiko was an average-sized type 1 male at about 6.4 meters.
King
Ulises is another average-sized type 1 male, at 6.4 meters.
Bjossa is another I can find no measurements of, but she was much smaller than Corky, who is 6.1 meters (a Northern resident). She looks typical of an Icelandic whale if a bit long. Looking at the top middle whale of my eyepatch collage, that whale looks just like Bjossa.

Finna was caught along with Ulises, Bjossa and Vigga, his pod mates.
Vigga was another stocky and short female with large eyepatches, notably smaller than her 6 meter Northern resident companion.
Nemo
Neptune
Ruka
Noni/Nootka was stocky and large female, at 6 meters, but with a bright saddle and eyepatches so commonly seen among Icelandic and Norwegian herring-eaters.
Freya was the only adult I could find who had a truly faint saddle patch (note that juveniles of all ecotypes tend to have faint saddles). She was also very long and slender compared to the typical, more stocky Icelandic female. She was however caught along with Kim 2 and Haida 2, and measured 6 meters in her late 20s. Her eyepatch is not type 2.
Haida 2 was, unlike her likely pod mate Freya, very typical in appearance for a type 1. She measured 5.2 meters at the age of 13.
Kim 2 was reportedly a large male, at 6.9 meters, just under Tilikum in size.
Nootka 4 (strange designation since she was caught one year after “Nootka 5″) was the same size as Haida.

Tilikum was the largest Icelandic killer whale in human care, reportedly at just under 7 meters, though I have also seen 6.7 meters (in 2016, shortly before his death). Even if he was 6.9 meters, that is indeed large for a type 1, but absolutely minute for a type 2, and he looks nothing like them.
Nandu
Samoa was 5.15 meters long when she died, with a clear type 1 eyepatch and saddle patch.
Junior
Bingo had interesting triangular eyepatches and a black line in his saddle, and measured 6.5 meters in his early 30s.
Patty
Kandu 7
Prince
Maggie
Oscar was an unusually small male, measuring only 5.8 meters at the age of 26.

Stella is very small, only around 5.2 meters long.

Tanouk measured 6.4 meters in his teens (meaning he would grow larger for a few years).
So that’s all of them, except for Canuck 2, Magnus, and Benkei 2.
Then, there is this:
You can stop calling North Atlantic killer whales type 1 and type 2
“The main issue with type 2 killer whales came from the small sample size (5 individuals)”
“In the meantime, Dr. Foote suggested we just drop the “type 1/type 2” classification for now.”
There is simply no basis to think any of the above 45 whales from Iceland are or were the “type 2″ whales, like John Coe.

as foretold, bang brave bang bravern was crazy good this week
it's just. gosh. for as much as i talk abt bravern being unhinged the fact of the matter is that it is actually SO restrained. ESPECIALLY for something in a medium that is already a little self-indulgent and referential. like for all of bravern himself's clear love for mecha there have been so few explicit references to other shows? and then this ep had so fucking many - ttgl (which - fucking hilarious to use it against a character KONISHI is voicing and then have that DD be fucking useless except for wanting to see some cool fights LSKDJFH) and flcl and symmetrical docking and rider kick and jeeg and gundam and the fuckin uhhhhhhhh exkaiser i think but i dont remember for sure its the same one that showed up in the earlier fight w superbia too. like w the other mecha on the roof framing. and probably about thirty more that i'm for sure missing or not recognizing or forgetting ON TOP OF all the obari posing and punching which have been sneaking into the visuals before this - but it was all for the purpose of having us watch this hype battle and get all excited to make the ending hit THAT much harder. and holding off the first gattai until episode NINE???? the thing we're all expecting to happen at any fucking moment, because there was no way that the souls of isami and bravern could've combined and actually resonated for a true gattai until that point????? like it's ALL in service of the story rather than wow cool robot even tho it IS a pretty damn cool robot. this show makes me feel like i did my homework and i'm acing the test AND I HAVENT EVEN WATCHED THAT MUCH MECHA TBH. LMFAO. all the "who is this show even FOR (eyeroll emoji)" comments back in like ep2 get funnier every week bc bravern knows its audience like the back of its hand and it gets clearer and clearer every week that its execution is fucking razor sharp. this show is SO SUCKING GOOD and I LOVE IT. that was supposed to say fucking good but sucking works too

Tengoku Daimakyou Rereads, Chap 1
I've been so obsessed with tengoku daimakyou/heavenly delusion, i binged the show, caught up to the rest of the manga. Now I want to reread the manga to pick up on hints I missed before.
Chronicling my thoughts below.
Note: This is full of spoilers and will only make sense to people who have atleast watched the show
the manga opens with pictures of heaven: a utopia. kids playing in the garden, watering plants, talking and playing with each other.
there are a lot of kids so someone has very kindly made a cheatsheet of the names of characters here.
one of the kids, tarao, is lying sick in what looks to be a hospital bed. kuku, another kid, appears to give him a tomato from the garden. tarao asks if tokio is going to come visit him.
as early as the first few pages of the manga, we have very clear hints that mimihime can sense the future. in chap 1 she senses that the kids are about to have a surprise test.
the surprise test, in a way, sets in motion the rest of the events to come. the robot teacher in the classroom declares that the test will only have 10 questions. But on Tokio's screen (it appears to be an algebra test) there is a 11th question that flickers: do you want to go outside of the outside? this is something that tokio cannot comprehend. but before tokio can ask the teacher, the question vanishes.
at the same time: the kids of other classes are still outside in the garden. kuku approaches kona who is drawing something. it looks like a fish with many arms!!!!! i never noticed this during my first watch, but this fish is what kuku turns into at a later point in the story. kona says that he imagined it: hinting at his ability to envision vague scenes in the future.
after the test mimihime asks tokio what she meant when she was mumbling about the outside. and then mimihime asks her if she has ever thought about what's outside their facility, outside of the walls of the garden. note: this was the scene that made me lose my mind, because the themes of the outside and wanting to go outside of the walls are so aot-like!!! and i have been obsessed with attack on titan for the last decade. ALSO!! i did not know that tokio was a girl when when i first watched this part on the show. in the show they refer to tokio as tokio-kun, which is usually used for boys. I refer to tokio as a girl now, because of later events. I'm curious if there will be hints to it that i missed.
Mimihime then says that whenever she thinks about going outside she sees two people coming to save her, one with the same face as tokio!!! later at night, tokio is unable to sleep and wanders in the garden thinking of what mimihime says. an old woman- who tokio calls director- on a wheelchair with two other people who look like doctors come outside to ask if tokio is having trouble sleeping and would like some meds to help sleep. (a very weird thing to offer a child, imo. makes me think what are all the other weird ways they've been brought up.)
tokio then asks if there's anything outside the outside (aka the garden that she originally thought was the outside), and the director says yes, and refers to it as hell, filled with wretched beasts.
and then chap 1 ends with a very intelligent still of a boy sleeping in what is the completely trashed remains of a karaoke bar called "karaoke heaven." but the words are missing and hence what we read is "kara heaven". from my limited knowledge of japanese, kara refers to emptiness, so idk if that means something here. to note for the future!
other interesting things:
taka is introduced as an extremely athletic child.
shiro is shown to go into a room called the workshop in his free time where it looks like he is building a machine, with a lot of wires, something like a computer maybe.

With almost a week and a half under their belt, the four friends decided to have a lazy day with each doing their own thing. Levy’s boyfriend Gajeel finally had his day off from work and had driven over from Hilo to visit. So, he and Levy took off after lunch to cruise around the west side of the island. Maybe take in a movie at the Keahou theaters and dinner at one of the Kona restaurants. Around the same time they left, a friend of Gray’s named Loke picked him up to hang out and go surfing at a beach called Magic Sands. It wasn’t always the best place to surf, but it was king tides season so the waves were a little bigger than normal.
That left the newly established couple to their own devises.
“That’s a loveseat.” Natsu remarked at the theater’s seating. “A leather loveseat!”
“Well,” Lucy chuckled, “it’s called a luxury cinema for a reason.”
“And they bring our food to us?!” He plops down on the leather chair. “Sweet!”
Why do a Netflix and chill at home when you can get restaurant quality food and a movie theater experience combined? Waikoloa Luxury Cinemas at Queen’s Marketplace and their restaurant The Bistro offered such an experience with meals delivered during the previews. As the lights came down, and food been taken care of, Lucy snuggled up to Natsu. He put his arm around her shoulder and leaned his head against hers, settling in for the movie.
Although things still felt a little awkward, in truth… it really wasn’t. They’d been friends for two years, close friends for almost one, so spending time together was nothing new— just the cuddling part… which had been getting easier over the last couple of days. Lucy’s heart would still skip a beat at his touch, but she didn’t lose her composure as badly. Natsu for his part never pushed and allowed her to gain confidence in their new relationship on her terms.
After the movie ended, they walked back towards the condo. It wasn’t too far of a walk along tree lined sidewalks. They’d passed King Shops, another small shopping center. A golf course on one side of the road, condos and hotels on the other. Every so often Lucy would point out any historical sites, such as a field of ancient petroglyphs that had survived. When they reached Anaehoomalu beach park, the couple decided to take a detour.
Natsu took hold of Lucy’s hand as they walked the sandy white beach between the Hilton Waikoloa and the Waikoloa Marriott. Visitors were sparse on this work day, giving them a peaceful time just listening to the waves and enjoying each other’s company.
“I don’t remember the name,” Lucy pointed to an area between the beach and the Marriott, “but those are ancient fish ponds that the hotel helped to restore. It’s like the Hawaiian version of aqua farming.”
As they got closer, Lucy continued pointing out different features such as wooden slats that allowed water and baby fish to flow in from the ocean, but trapped the fish once they’d grown bigger in the ponds. “If you look closely there’s always eels,” she explained as they leaned over the rock wall that lined the pond. And sure enough, after a couple minutes Natsu could see a few popping they’re heads out of cracks.
They spent some time on the beach before heading to the condo once it got closer to dinner time. When they arrived back, no one had returned yet, so they stayed out on the patio to watch the sunset. It was a partial view of the ocean from the condo, but enough that one could watch the day slowly turning into night. The skies turned reddish orange, while the sun gained a slight greenish hue as it slowly sunk below the horizon.
“You’re hair looks like it’s on fire,” Natsu commented as the suns darkening rays bounced off of Lucy’s golden blonde hair.
Lucy blushed and tucked her hair back out of nervousness. “Really?” She asked sheepishly.
“Really,” Natsu smiled and squeezed her hand.
“I um…” Lucy started to speak, then stopped and kissed him instead. Just a quick one, as her eyes continued to communicate something else and her body leaned in closer.
Taking the hint, Natsu moved in, turning fully towards her while pulling her almost onto his lap. His fingers tangled into her crown as Lucy made moves of her own to wrap her arms around his neck. They’d forgotten all about the sunset. Their lips too wrapped up with one another’s in a full-blown make out session.
“I could…” Natsu mumbled between the kisses, “stay like this forever…”
Lucy sighed, “me, too.” Once the floodgates had opened, she started to realize just how much she’d really fallen for the man.
But the sound of keys and a door opening, eventually broke the spell.
“We should stop before…” Lucy grumped.
“I know,” Natsu sighed. “For now.”
“Before they tease us.” Lucy added.
He placed a hand on her cheek and gently smoothed his thumb over the skin, “do you really care?”
“Mmm, a little…”
“Pfft.” Natsu stood up and pulled her with him. “Then let’s hide in the bedroom,” he teased with a glint in his eye.
That made Lucy giggle as she squeezed his hand in return. They quickly ran past a surprised Gray to the upstairs bedroom and locked Lucy’s door.
“Well, guess I get the room to myself tonight,” Gray chuckled as he headed to his room. “But keep it down!” He yelled as he passed by theirs.
“Too bad, snowflake!”
Eh, they’ll be fine…

Hey guys, Diss here. I’m sorry for my long absence, as you all know a few months back I recently got a puppy. So a large portion of my time is spent making sure he’s ok, and looking after him. His name is Kona, and he can be quite the little terror when he wants to. (Despite this, I love him all the same. (^v^)/)
Thankfully I managed to finish this mermaid themed drawing some time last month. Featuring my sona Diss, who’s a cyborg mermaid. I figured almost marine life wouldn’t suit her, so I based her design after robotic fish that marine scientists use. (It was definitely a bunch of fun, although I’m not 100% set on this design… (;9v9)) Originally this was meant for Mermay, but I wasn’t able to post this until now. So again, sorry about how late this is…..

5. what sports do you play/have you played? i used to play tennis and volleyball when i was a kid. and i did dance (ballet, jazz, hip hop) for 7(?) years. i also did marching band all 4 years in high school (yes that counts)

10. where were you born? TECHNICALLY the hospital i was born in was in palo alto, california (my dad was still at stanford for uni) but i was almost immediately brought back to santa cruz, california and was raised there until i was 12
11. what are your hobbies? playing video games! and i love to paint and cross stitch! i also play the flute (and sorta the tenor sax) and if watching trashy reality shows was a hobby i'd be a professional
12. do you have pets? YES i have my baby dog buzz <3 who owns my entire heart <3 and my pet snake named richard, and a beta fish named bait :) also my brother has a dog named kona and i am the best aunt ever btw

Oh, okay, wasn’t expecting to see Kona speaking with Asura.. I’m guessing this has to be a flashback, though them chatting about something floating in the sky and shooting out light is concerning. Have we seen anything like that yet?
Kona “imagines” a sword of light and suddenly this other girl has a cut on her leg.. the hell kind of power do you have sir?
Well, I guess if he sees the things he imagines it isn’t so farfetched.. that one drawing of the fish with arms is something we saw Kiruko & Maru fight already.
Asura heals the cut no problem and no one bats an eye? I guess stranger things have happened at this facility, I mean, just look at Asura.
Wait, Asura doesn’t show on the cameras either? I would say maybe she didn’t exist or was a spirit of sorts but she was raised here. The adults have a grave for her and everything. Unless this flashback takes places after that and this is her ghost that only the kids can see? My mind is going a mile a minute and we’re only three minutes into the episode, which isn’t much after the OP.
Yeah Kona definitely has some sort of future sight.. and Asura has odd glowing wings now? And a cord around her neck.. yeah. I figured that’s how she died.
Wait, the bird symbol was on the buttons of their jackets this whole time??
OHHH.. that’s exactly what the Usami was holding last episode then! which means it very. could have been Shiro.. SHIT!
Oh, wasn’t expecting the adults to speak English suddenly.
No fucking way.. it’s hardly noticeable but you can definitely pick up that Tokio could be pregnant in that swimsuit oh my god… HOLD UP. Time out! The adult just said they’re 14! Hello?? That’s so young!
“Usami was holding this button. It has the same logo as Kiru-beam.” Ah god oh fuck.
How the hell is your tooth growing back Maru?? Don’t tell me it was just a baby tooth that got knocked out!
“There hasn’t been an earthquake in ages.” Scary to think that was probably one of the most normal things we’ve seen in this series.
Was not expecting a full grown man to pop out  of the rubble like that..
The one adult did a check up on Tokio but said nothing? Probably just keeping the info to herself.
Oh.. Mimihime can see a silhouette of Asura when she died.
Damn, they really are taking Tokio away somewhere. That prediction of Kona’s was spot on.
This Juichi fellow is sketchy as hell.
“I was shut up in a school surrounded by walls.” Who are you then???
Okay, this whole “town” full of women who keep around good looking men for um, baby purposes, is almost like a flipped TPN farm system.
I get it’s only been one year since Juichi escaped that placed (totally different place from the facility btw) but what happen to the kid he and that one couple had?
Oh.. so the #11 on his arm was fake, but was the whole story made up too then?
He moved the car so he could hide the logo on the wall.. Takahara Academy is what it’s called? But the building looks complete different and abandoned.
Now we got another weird logo to worry about.
“We have discovered that Tokio is pregnant.” SECRET IS OUT.
Ah but this place is one of the Takahara Academies though.
