Kemono Joushi ni Jitsuwa Mitomerarete Ita Hanashi - By Shiroinu (7.5/10)

Ms. Oki is a skilled office lady, but nobody respects her because she's a human.

In this world most people have enhanced beast genetics. Speed. Smarts. Looks. Adding cat ears to your baby can give them an edge in life. Some humans are still boring old humans, and they get abused pretty badly. Compared to beastmen they're fragile and dumb...but wait! Ms. Oki refuses to be defined by her species!

The CEO, Atlas, offers her a job. She will be his personal secretary. Atlas is basically a monster. His genes are more beastly than most. He barely looks human. He's strong enough to crush cars and every other strong beast is a baby compared to him.

I'd like to say that this is a mild yandere story....but it really isn't. Atlas almost murders Ms. Oki's enemies more than once. Don't worry they're racist and they deserve it!

He also sniffs her coat...but I swear it's mostly wholesome. Atlas ADMIRES Ms. Oki. He wants her to excel and be accepted by the company and her peers. He plans to confess to her only when they get equal respect in the workplace.

Racism is actually a REALLY BIG ISSUE IN THIS SETTING. It's been normalized. Atlas is going to have to wait a while.

But thats ok.

Atlas is so fearsome that um...he makes everyone afraid with his mere presence. Even Ms. Oki. So before the respect thing she has to get over her fear.

Mr. Grey helps her.....after he tests her.

More jealousy.

Mr. Grey lectures Atlas too, because it's unbecoming to be possessive before you confess to a woman. It's very funny.

Saeki is a human man with a crush on Ms. Oki.

It's not gonna happen.

Atlas gets rid of an evil catgirl secretary to protect Ms. Oki.

Saeki's futile love gets crushed more than once. When he begins working with Ms. Oki as HER assistant, after she gains power in the company, he basically turns off his emotions and he becomes a side character.

It shouldn't be so funny but it is...

About the anthropomorphic lion manga panel,,, where is it from?

It's from a manga called Me and My Beast Boss. I'll edit that post so the title is in italics so it's easier to see. It's about a human secretary trying her best in a beast dominated world and the beast boss that encourages and falls for her. It's rather interesting because while I say "beast", most of the folks look like humans with ears and tails.

This is the boss's driver, Heldt Grey, mainly gets called by his last name in manga and a few background characters to show what beasts look like.

The boss himself actually has what is called "reverse genetics" thus giving him a more animal appearance.

There's currently two volumes translated into English at the moment and I'm eagerly waiting for news for more volumes to come. If you have a chance I highly recommend it!
