Here’s my lil ting no one asked for on Kayla and Travis.
I don’t think Kayla was naive for thinking Travis was gonna take her down the aisle considering he was so hell bent on dating her. They’ve both shared the same story about how he pursued her for a year, stalked her, and than was crazy about her all throughout their relationship. She was gracious enough to give him a lil date after she was feeling bored. She broke up with him every single time they ended and he somehow managed (he was begging) to get her back.
Kayla was and is still followed by the majority of his family on social media. Most importantly his mother, who referred to her a daughter in law as a cute nickname. His mother tolerates Taylor Swift; it’s midwestern politeness but anyone from the here knows Mama Kelce isn’t too fond. His mother, btw, who thought it would be Kayla to give her the first grandchild NOT Ky. Speaking of Ky, although Ky is down to earth/tomboyish and Kayla is a princess through and through they loved each other and spent time outside sports together. Kayla would babysit Trav’s nieces who referred to her as ‘Aunty Kayla’. Also, for what it’s worth, Trav was paying for 90% of everything. I don’t know who the hell started that 50/50 cheap rumor because he was paying her rent/mortgage, buying luxury cars, her apartment, her condo, their vacations, dinners, and her designer.
Is Travis going to marry Taylor Swift? No. Are T and T a pr relationship? Surprisingly, no, but they will do paid gigs together. Are both Taylor and Travis extreme money hungry attention whores who are currently having the time of their lives? Yes and yes. Are Travis and Kayla going to get back together in far future? Unfortunately, yes.
They’re still sharing dogs as if the canines were children in a divorce. So, even if we don’t see them communicate, just know at least every 2-3 weeks they see one another. Kayla still has a place in Kansas City.
** I apologize for the essay I wrote, when I started i thought it was going to be a lil paragraph.**
hmm it always seemed as though travis was leading her on. didn’t travis’ dad mention that travis told him that he knew after a year kayla wasn’t the one? and why would travis joke that kayla would never get a ring? and the cheap rumours came from kayla complaining about how other girls could afford designer while she mentioned she was shopping at zara. then travis tweeted that she was independent so that was all a disgrace. yk little things like that make me question his motives. all of this was talked about in the lipstick alley thread according to my source (my sister who stays in there 😭) so idk how much i believe that he really wanted her. idk man

National Fast Food Day
National Fast Food Day celebrates fast food restaurants and the food that they sell. Fast food usually consists of prepackaged and ready-made food that can be quickly cooked—often by deep frying or microwaving—and eaten; most is designed to be eaten on the go, and does not require cutlery. Common fast foods include burgers, french fries, fried chicken, fish and chips, pizza, tacos, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, sandwiches, and ice cream. Fast food is typically high in sugar, salt, saturated fat, and calories, and is linked to many health problems. Fast food restaurants usually sell food at either a counter or a drive-through. Franchising, where there is uniformity in food and presentation between restaurants, is an important aspect of fast food. Besides franchise restaurants, gas station and convenience store food is sometimes seen as fast food, as is some food from street vendors.
The roots of fast food can be traced back to ancient Rome. Thermopoliums were small shops that sold food—such as hot sausages and bread—on-the-go. Urban apartment dwellers of the middle and lower classes often ate these foods. During the Middle Ages, vendors sold food to people in larger cities such as London and Paris. After 1860, fish and chip shops became prevalent in the United Kingdom, and became popular with the working classes. By the 1920's there were more than 35,000 of these shops.
The term "fast food" may first have been used in America by George G. Foster, who in his book, New York Slices, published in 1848, referred to the fast paced food in New York City's business district. An automat, a cafeteria with vending machines with pre-made food, was opened by Horn & Hardart, in 1902, in Philadelphia. A decade later they opened one in New York City, which created a sensation, and many more were built across the country, leading to the popularity of automats during the 1920's and 1930's.
Technological, social, and economic changes in America led to a boom in fast food restaurants by the second half of the 20th century. Following World War I, automobiles became popular and affordable, and curb service restaurants were created in the 1920's. During the post-World War II economic boom, people spent more and bought more, creating a culture of consumerism that led to both men and women working outside the home. Eating outside the home—which was once a luxury—thus became commonplace, because of expendable cash, and in some instances because it was a necessity. By 1951 Merriam-Webster had added "fast food" to their dictionary.
Franchising, which brought uniformity in the practices of particular restaurants, also fueled the boom of fast food. A&W opened in 1921, and became a franchise in 1923. Many see it as the first fast food restaurant. White Castle also opened in 1921, in Wichita, Kansas, and sold hamburgers for five cents each. They standardized the food production of fast food hamburger restaurants, which other restaurants, such as McDonald's, built on. McDonald's was created by two brothers, Richard and Maurice McDonald, in 1940, in San Bernardino, California. Originally it was a drive-in that focused on barbecue, but once the brothers saw the popularity of their hamburgers, they closed for three months, and reopened in 1948 with a new focus. Besides hamburgers, their menu included french fries, shakes, coffee, and Coca-Cola, and they served their food in a paper wrapping. At fifteen cents, their hamburgers were about half the price of ones available at diners. Ray Kroc made a franchise agreement and opened McDonald's restaurants in Illinois, and in 1961 he bought out the brothers. In 1953, another important hamburger based fast food restaurant was started in Florida, and would eventually be known as Burger King. Not all early fast food focused on hamburgers though, as the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise opened in 1952.
Today the United States has the largest fast food industry in the world. There are close to 200,000 fast food restaurants in the United States, where over 50 million customers are served every day. About 44% of Americans eat at a fast food restaurant each week, and 11% of the calorie intake of adults in the United States comes from fast food. American fast food restaurants are now in over 125 countries, and the intake of fast food worldwide continues to rise. But, fast food has not expanded without criticism. Besides facing criticism for the nutritiousness of its food, the industry has also been pilloried for paying its workers low wages, usually without benefits. Over half of fast food workers are on some sort of public assistance, which has cost taxpayers 7 million dollars annually.
How to Observe National Fast Food Day
Celebrate the day by eating fast food, as you finally have a good excuse to do it! Order fast food at a counter and eat it inside, or go through a drive-through and eat your food somewhere else. There are many restaurants you could choose from. If you are not one to eat fast food, you could watch Super Size Me, or read Fast Food Nation, or watch the eponymously titled film that was based off the book.

Kansas City Chiefs Wolf Beat Eagle Shirt
Kansas City Chiefs Wolf Beat Eagle Shirt
In my case, always. Or rather, I would never wear any other tie besides a bolo tie. Bolo ties are extremely versatile. Some are spare and minimal, the Kansas City Chiefs Wolf Beat Eagle Shirt Apart from…,I will love this clasp, that is, and thus quite appropriate for men. They can also feature gorgeous designs of inlaid mother-of-pearl, turquoise, jet, lapis lazuli and coral. Bolo ties are functional (much like a pendant, but superior). The weight of the clasp, even a small one (though some are huge silver things), helps keep my blouse from bunching up. The same purpose is served by the silver-capped and braided leather end points. In New Mexico and Arizona, where I live and was raised, bolo ties are completely appropriate. I might not feel as comfortable wearing one in London, nor the Continent ;o) There are generally three types of bow ties: the pre-tied, the clip-on, and the self-tie. Pre-tied bow ties are ties in which the distinctive bow is sewn onto a band that goes around the neck and clips to secure. Some “clip-ons” dispense with the band altogether, instead clipping straight to the collar. The traditional bow tie, consisting of a strip of cloth that the wearer has to tie by hand, is also known as a “self-tie”, “tie-it-yourself”, or “freestyle” bow tie.

I would say standard collars are best.. but I think button down collars are fine as well. I would also agree that the Kansas City Chiefs Wolf Beat Eagle Shirt Apart from…,I will love this bow tie is pretty forgiving though so it’s not a bad idea to start with a collar that fits your face shape… No, when wearing somber colors like Navy or black it is better to either aim for contrast or harmony. If you don’t have a black bow tie either wear a black necktie, or barring that find another coordinating cravat that’s is event appropriate. And if the event invitation says black tie, do the smart thing and buy a vintage tuxedo and bow tie. The market is rife with beautiful and almost unworn dinner suits just waiting for permanent owners, and personally I’m sick and tired of seeing guys wearing cheap black suits and bow ties as ad-hoc tuxedos. Your date, should you have one, is kitted our in their best bib and tucker and you should show them the courtesy of dressing to their level. I hope this helped!

Tumblr media
Your current lease is running out, and you’re already getting emails about renewing. Once again, you’re met with the age-old question - is now the right time to move?
That leads to a natural follow-up - where?
With an unsteady housing market and rising interest rates, financially-savvy individuals are shying away from buying property. Instead, they’re gravitating toward apartments and rentals where they can get their money’s worth in luxurious living.
Many apartment shoppers are looking for vibrant communities that have a lot to offer by way of exclusive resident perks and local attractions. Luxury apartments are upscale living spaces that have a robust offering of amenities and services. They are built with the safety, security, and comfort of residents as a top priority.
With lush landscaping, floor-to-ceiling windows, and stunning architecture, these apartments attract anyone from young professionals to empty nesters. Although they come with a larger price tag than the average apartment, residents enjoy a higher standard of living.
Here are some signs that it might be time for you to take the leap and upgrade to a luxury apartment.
You Want to Revamp Work From Home
With so many people working remotely these days, our homes have also become our office spaces. Sometimes, that can make separating home life and work life difficult, especially when it comes to apartment living.
Luxury apartments provide a plethora of options for work-from-home residents. Community spaces, reservable conference rooms, and private lounges are all common amenities in luxury apartment communities. These benefits add variety in day-to-day remote work life. There’s no need to rent an office or pay for co-working spaces when it’s built into your amenities. If you’re feeling stagnant in your workday or cooped up in your apartment, a luxury apartment complex may be a nice change of pace.
You Want To Live More Stress-Free
There is a natural convenience to luxury apartment living, which makes them so enticing to renters. Bustling metropolitan areas often have several luxury apartment communities to choose from. These convenient locations allow for smooth commutes to other popular destinations throughout the city. Many of the Luxury apartments in Overland Park are within close proximity of bustling Kansas City and located in areas that are loaded with the best of retail, dining, and entertainment.
With amenities like spas, gyms, salons, movie theatres, and concierge services, these apartment complexes are geared around making your life easier. On top of that, many luxury apartments have smart home features that elevate your living space, something you’re not likely to find in other apartments. These upgrades and amenities add extra safety and convenience to your living space that you can’t find anywhere else.
You Want To Downsize
Has it gotten to a point where you want somewhere that feels like home, but you don’t want the upkeep of a house or owning property? A luxury apartment is a great option for anyone who’s looking for a smaller space that delivers high-end comfort. These complexes also provide social opportunities and active lifestyle options that aren’t as accessible when you own or rent a house.
Additionally, many luxury apartment communities offer a wide range of multi-bedroom units for residents to choose from, so you won’t have to settle for anything less than what you want. With a wide array of amenities and services available in the building, luxury apartments add an ease to life that many empty nesters, young professionals, and downsizers are looking for.
You Want Community Living
Neighbours are important to consider when choosing where to live. Luxury apartments offer the unique experience of community events right at your front door. With perks like a private gym, dog parks, games, and more, you’re bound to make friends with folks also enjoying the luxe life. Exclusive, resident-only events are also a common occurrence in many luxury apartment complexes.
Many luxury apartments come with a full staff that offer services that keep you in-the-loop with what’s going on in your community and city, similar to a hotel concierge. Depending on where you live, the community you choose can be a reflection of your own interests and drive the direction of your social life. Want an environment that is lively with a vibrant community? Or perhaps you want someplace that’s quiet, but tight-knit? There’s likely a luxury apartment that reflects whatever you desire.
You can kick off your apartment hunt today by searching the phrase “luxury apartments near me.” That will retrieve numerous results in your direct vicinity that offer upscale living with luxury amenities.

The developer is relentless in fighting communities across the region - with teams of architects, lawyers, illustrators, PR people and paid-up engineers all producing 'unbiased reports', 'scenic' renderings and of course candid submissions in multiple sets of municipal planner meetings. Meetings that local residents know nothing about until the Oddo Project is already baked - and its odor has already seeped all through the corridors of the various city halls.
Tumblr media
"You Cant Handle The Truth" - until its too late for you to do much about it..!
And IF there is a need for high stacked rental housing - maybe all these legal maneuverings - that just happen to NEVER include the locals and the communities Oddo moves it resources into - are meeting that need. But that doesn't explain why Oddo is determined to grab hold of the gateway to Cedar Creek...
Tumblr media
Hiddeous
The Oddo company's other plans, on a much less significant Cedar Creek adjacent site - (between Valley Parkway & 103rd/Hwy 10), are much more modestly scaled. Not on a high elevation - those plans are only intended to be TWO STORIES HIGH...!
Tumblr media
Yet More ODDO It will be doubly difficult to sell apartments with traffic views if the luckless Oddo residents wake up to find that Oddo over-development in Lenexa is causing traffic to back up onto Hwy 10...!
Of course selling views of traffic on K-10 would be more of an uphill battle than selling views from the top of the hill on Cedar Creek parkway. Cedar Creek views that we provide, at our expense, and Shadow Glen golf course views that Oddo will appropriate along with the name 'Shadow Glen'.
So is the deal - 'stacking "synthetic stone cladding" and "cement board" multi-level micro apartments' all along K-10 designed to catch the eye of commuters? Those forced to wait for a space on the Cedar Creek off-ramp will have noting to look at but tail-lights and 'ANOTHER ODDO DEVELOPMENT' billboards? Logical maybe - if cheap and nasty.
But what does that do to the claims of luxury resort living..? Is that really the way you recruit top level tenants? Somehow I think not. So really - what is Oddo Developments doing trying to take over the entrance to Cedar Creek..? Why does THIS site have to be 6 stories of building - as opposed to 2 elsewhere (from which he clearly must be able to turn a profit...)?
I'll tell you - this is all about what we have, we created, we should own and we should be in charge of (were it not for another developer who clings onto control through a faux HOA)...
Oddo Developments wants to loot Ceder Creek of its views, its open spaces, its character and its green resources... He has no way to prevent his tenants using our open property, crowding the carefully stewarded natural spaces - and our absurd developer-run HOA has no plans, ability or inclination to stop Oddo. After all - birds of a feather....
So we should be in no doubt that the rapacious machine presently gnawing at our door, does not have a better face or a nicer plan. There are no 'more acceptable' approaches or alternatives. Not from an entity that is here for the singular reason of appropriating for itself all that we have worked for, contributed to, managed, observed, maintained, stewarded and paid for. Oddo's very presence in Cedar Creek is fundamentally at odds with all of us who live here. And that difference is irreconcilable.
The essence of Cedar Creek is at stake here. Nothing more, nothing less.
Tumblr media
NO...!
Oddo can't be allowed to win.
