25 notes · View notes
Hello everyone! This blog is super dead nowadays but I don't want to give up on it! I'm thinking next year I'll just use it to reblog art and fanfiction from the fandom and possibly repost from other sites with permission from artists, which I know is something I said I would do but strayed away from doing.
In other news I know I haven't promoted it at all but #Cabsweek2022 is still happening! You can find the prompt list and dates on this blog! If you make absolutely anything at all please remember to tag me I would love to see it! ❤️💚💙

Josépan #18...
18. kisses where one person is sitting in the other’s lap
(basing this a lot on the comics that @tomaturtles !)
Panchito knew it was for the best of everyone that he keep an eye on their ‘tour guide’. Even if he was friendly. Even if he was handsome. Even if he sometimes took Panchito by both hands and dragged him out onto the dance floor, moving swiftly around him as Donald cheered and clapped for them on the sidelines, smiling so brightly that for a moment, in the back of his mind, he thought maybe he couldn’t be so bad in the end, after all. But then he had to come and face the facts again, for the safety of everyone’s fiances, and remember that he was here to keep an eye on the little scam artist.
Maybe he kept too good of an eye on him.
Panchito had been enjoying himself more than he initially thought he might’ve, with the energy and adventure Donald seemed to attract, the three of them had hardly had a quiet evening through the whole trip. But it was obvious that it was winding to an end, ever steadily, and Donald would have to return home; no one could stay on vacation forever, after all regardless of José insistence to the contrary. Panchito was surprised to fine that it wasn’t Donald’s money that he would miss, but Donald himself; and even more shocking, he seemed reluctant to think that Panchito would be off on his way back to Mexico as well.
He knew very early into the trip that he would miss Donald: brave and resourceful and passionate. But it dawned on him, slowly, that he would miss José just as much. Somewhere along the line, he’d stopped being a simple conman, just biding his time to trick both Donald and Panchito and make off with their wallets, but, well… a traveling partner? A friend? His heart swelled as he lingered on that thought, but as José showed them around his homeland, Panchito began to see his love for the land, his pride to be apart of it, and his happiness to share it with others to be genuine. Even the high esteem in which he seemed to hold Donald in become sincere, and Panchito… Well…
All three of them practically dragged their feet as Donald headed towards the airport. There was a lot of clamoring, heartfelt goodbyes and promises to each other that they would all see each other again, an outsider could of sworn they had been friends for years. It had certainly felt that way.
It was just him and José now, as the sun was beginning to set, caught in the silent, tense air as they left the airport. Even with the sun sinking lower in the sky, the air was warm;José had the brilliant idea of going somewhere for drinks. A good way to stay cool and fight the loneliness of losing their third party member. Panchito figured it couldn’t hurt.
For a short time, it was hard to find something to talk about- but after a drink and a half each, they had settled comfortably into retelling stories of the trip together- poking a bit fun at Donald, at each other, at even themselves- at at some point, Panchito noticed,José had gotten up become much more animated as he retold his tales. He wasn’t very good at sitting still, Panchito had found. Point in case, he started pulling at Panchito, trying to get him up.
“Let’s dance,” He was insisting. “It’s too beautiful a night to be sitting around.”
“Dance to what? There’s no music,” Still, he couldn’t help but smile. “It’s too hot to dance tonight, anyways.”
“What, are you a penguin now? We can make our own music. I Have the rhythm right here,” José hummed the bar of some tune to show him. “Now come on. Up you get!”
So up he got, obligingJosé as he sang their song, moving along with him. Except by now, Panchito thought he knew the moves pretty well- well enough to lead. But José, obviously, thought he should lead; as the one who had lead most of the dances throughout the trip, and as the one keeping time, too. So when Panchito tried to lift him up off his feet, José was already moving to do the same, and so they stumbled back: Panchito managing to land back in his seat, withJosé on top of him.
They took a moment to laugh at their foolishness, half-heatedly arguing who was really the lead, when Panchito noticedJosé- now settled more comfortably into his lap- carefully moving the brim of his sombrero up out of his face, looking at him fondly. Panchito knew the beat that he heard wasn’t just stuck in his head from the song José had been singing. And then, before he knew it, they were kissing.
“You must come back to visit me,”José said, after they broke apart.
“I will.”
“Do you promise?”
“Yes,” Panchito said, kissing him briefly again. “I promise.”

Hi everyone!
It’s been over almost 2 years I haven’t updated this blog, and I have to be honest, I haven’t written for over a year!
English was already difficult for me to write, and with the pandemic I feel like my writing and experience in my second language got really bad.
However, I found a huge document of small (mostly Josépan) WIP fics from 2018 and 2019, and I thought I could finish, polish, and regroup some of them (I will post them as a collection on ao3) and I am thinking of posting them individually here.
I am not sure how many there will be in total, but it will be an ongoing side-project for me in the meantime and who knows maybe it will give me confidence in writing again.
Hope you can enjoy nonetheless and I would like to thank everyone for staying around and still supporting me during my absence :’)

Cabsweek2023
Hello, everyone!
If you're here from the archive blog just know how much I appreciate you.
Cabs week is a three caballeros event week/prompt challenge that I am trying to make annual!
The dates have been changed if you saw the old post. The original timeline included the actual debut of the movie in Mexico, however, that places us squarely at Christmas which is a very busy time for a lot of people.
The dates are now Friday January 27th-Friday February 3rd, ending on the US release of the movie and squarely avoiding the holidays! (also starting on my best friend's birthday so happy early birthday, Lizard)
This means we'll be skipping Cabsweek2022 altogether! Whoops! #Cabsweek2023 it is!
Prompts are based on my Josepan ship playlist this time around because I am self indulgent:
Set in the Ducktales 2017 universe the loosely constructed narrative of this playlist follows Jose and Panchito's stay in Baia as they try to get noticed. Panchito, an unhappy artist who never gave up on the dream and Jose a lonely romantic trying to get back on his feet still clinging to an old college flame.
Day one: Down the Road/Dear Fellow Traveler
Day Two: There's No Love in February/Those Were the Days
Day Three: Moonshine/Come Along
Day Four: The Good Part/Renee
Day Five: Honeybee/Build Me Up Buttercup
Day Six: Baia/Sober Up
Day Seven: Walking Back to Happiness/ I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire
Day Eight: Isn't this a Lovely Day/Home.
I'll be hosting from here: @imnotgrimimjustagrumpyreaper so please remember to tag me in anything you may post! I look forward to seeing it
Dates are January 27th/February 3rd

Hi, your drawing of Panchito and Magica both preforming at a child's birthday party is going to be all I'm going to think about for the next week! It's just so galaxy brained and I'm glad I'm not the only one who lingers on that throw away line of his! I adore all your art of the cabs and your Josépan art never fails to make my day! Sorry to ramble!
Aw thank you so much! I think I saw some posts about this when it was revealed Magica was also performing at birthday parties, but this whole concept became even funnier to me when we saw her silly magic tricks in The Phantom and the Sorceress! I really like it when they have characters that are not at all related to each other together so this is a cenario I’d love to actually see in the show haha.
And thank you again!! I love the caballeros so much and I’m glad you like what I make of them as well! :]

Ze Carioca have a girlfriend name Maria Vaz or Rosinha Vaz.
Oh yeah...from the Ze Carioca comics right?
I don't know a lot about her, or the comics in general... so I don't have a lot to say
But yeah, I'm more into Josépan or even Three Gay Caballeros xdxd

I need to do a massive catch up on your stories 😭😭😭 but my personal fave is the newest caballero.💕💕 But I also love the drabbles you make! Like that one where Panchito bakes a cake for Donald and that one about Glomgold that is kinda angsty. In fact that latter one, I think about it more than I probably should *insert coffee spongebob meme*
EDIT: Stupid mobile wouldn’t upload my answer gvuochbdfuohberf
Newest Cab is my favorite to write as JoséPan is my OTP and them being married with a kid is something I always wanted for them! And I do enjoy giving my OCs angst. Oh the things I have in store for this little blue jay....
The Glomgold one is actually a prelude to an upcoming multi-chapter fic with another OC of mine that is 80% angst

12. Pets
“Panchito, as nice as it sounds, we cannot buy pets just for the fun of it. We need to make sure that we are prepared, or as Americans say, worthy enough to be pet owners” José stated as he was being dragged by Panchito to a nearby pet store.
“Nonsense amigo! Us two caballeros are ready for anything!” Panchito responded, confidence booming in his voice. José sighed as they finally entered the store. Barks from young pup echoed throughout the store. Along with the meowing of attention starved cats. Birds singing their own songs. And the clatter of all the other animals’ signature sounds. Panchito (for once) had to hold in a scream of joy as he ran around the store and pet every animal in his sight. He stopped in his tracks when he saw a small yorkshire terrier running around in its cage, chasing its own tail. Panchito gasped loudly (to the point that he had to lean against a wall to catch his breath) and pressed his face against the glass separating him from the small puppy.
“JOSÉ! WE MUST GET THIS ONE! ¡MIRA QUE LINDO ES EL!”
José, who was busy looking at the different breeds of parrots in the bird section of the store, looked back and soon enough walked over to him.
“What is it Panchi? That was quite the shout. I am sure that everyone all the way from Bahia must’ve heard you” José chuckled sweetly.
Panchito pointed at the small puppy the same way a small child would point to a toy that they want because of a commercial the saw on TV. “LOOK AT HIM!! ISN’T HE ADORABLE?!”
“Panchito for the last time. We are still not prepared to have a -” José found himself unable to finish his sentence as he stared at the puppy, who was staring right back at him. The staring contest between parrot and dog soon ended when José made his final decision, not breaking eye contact with the yorkshire terrier.
“Panchito, prepare your carteira. We are getting twelve of these”
