Sso: Hey are you here for the riding program??
MC: yeah
Sso: GREAT, we’re never bringing that up again btw
So, just going to casually drag this blog kicking and screaming from the depths of Pandoria for a hot second to introduce an idea I’ve had for a wee while...
✨Jorvik Riding Academy ✨
Nestled in the heart of Jorvik, a quick ride from the city and connected to the current playable map by the tunnel in dundull, towering above the landscape as it clings fiercely from the cliffside Is Jorvik academy. A sprawling fort turned school, the imposing structure offers teachings and housing for thousands of students from around Jorvik and the world. With stunning facilities and miles of land dedicated to horsemanship, the academy offers countless programs from veterinary courses, Dressage education, western riding and more.
Unlocking central Jorvik, and by extension the Academy, would require players to have a high reputation with the Baroness & Jorvik rangers, as the Baroness initially starts the quest, requesting you aid the rangers in their expedition.
Clearing the tunnel would be a few daily missions after initially clearing the first roadblock. Clearing boulders and collapsed earth would be the rangers duty’s, every daily revealing small passages, caves and beaches, while the player clears brush and small debris.
Eventually the last of the blockages would be removed and Jorvik’s central plains would be free for exploration. Coming out of the tunnel would have the player meeting up with the Eastern division of the Jorvik Rangers, who would in turn point you towards the Academy.
Before reaching the Academy, Players would most likely want to explore an updated and expanded Jorvik city. Players would be able to explore the more rural area on horseback, the area mostly being NPC houses and a cafe or two. But once they ride into the more populated area, much like the current city, players would be required to dismount in order to go further. It would be mostly the same, catching trams to go to different areas, but unlike the current one, players would be able to get to these areas on foot as well, a few more cafes, restaurants and shops hiding in explorable alleyways and streets.
In order to reach the Academy however, players would take the main road out of the city, following it across the plains, passing a few farms, herds and a few mounted NPC’s, some sporting the Academy uniform. Eventually players would come across a grand gate nestled in a small forest, slightly ajar and sporting horses galloping across the wrought iron. Following the cobbled path, glimpses into the thinning wood would show jumps and obstacles set up, more NPC’s following the track. Continue following the road up a winding incline and you’ll be greeted with a grand stone arch proudly sporting the academy’s name and banners, green flags adorned with a silver pegasi. A little further would reveal the first building, a covered area much like the silverglade one, with a few daily races ranging from dressage, to jumping, and western trials. Climb further, passing more areas, some solely dedicated to certain disciplines, and you’ll find yourself at the front gates of the Academy, a towering fort resembling more of a small castle than any school. Once you pass through the imposing doors, a grand courtyard covered in greenery, stables nestled in the ivory walls.
The interior would hold classes as Daily’s, contents being the history of Jorvik and its people, learning about the different horse breeds and the origins of different riding disciplines. Daily classes would be held in the classrooms closest to the entrance, majority of the rooms being empty, great places for more close knit club meetings and roleplays.
The stables would be similar, a block sectioned off with the doors open to the world, allowing players from all over the server to stable their horses temporarily, being able to stable your horse next to your friends without relying on the home stable. These stables would also have a connected indoor arena.
This would also lead to another few levels in the personal stables, a few more stalls, bigger tack room with the ability to display favoured sets, an updated feed room with the current stalled horses names appearing on feed buckets, and a big upgrade, a personal riding arena. The ability to customise the home stable would be good here, being able to choose a style based on discovered areas, being able to display seasonal decorations year round.
Another addition included with the Academy would be players appartments, a dorm wing introducing the ability to have a private place for the player to display trinkets and ribbons attained trough play, and finally put the furniture to good use.
Tumblr media
Since the Academy teaches all disciplines, I’ve put together a handful of sketches of different sets, some basic ones purchasable after completing a tour of the academy, and more unlock-able after building reputation with the Academy's riding team. Forgive me for not including a western set, it’s still in the works. If anyone has any ideas on more sets, you are absolutely encouraged to voice them. I’m also still working on tack, though much like western, that isn’t my strong suit.
Tumblr media
I’ve also included a few more colours variations if people aren’t fans of the green.
Tumblr media
I’m currently working on a sketch of the academy grounds.
If you’ve made it this far, please share your thoughts and ideas, I would love to know what people think. I know realistically that Ashland and the rest of southeast Jorvik would be opened first if anything, and with devils gap opening soon, that is hopefully what’s in the works, but a girl can dream.

-> SSO Rewritten is how I would write the main story. The posts will complete the whole main storyline. -> Opening ALL the areas in the horse part of Jorvik (Harvestlands, Winterdale, Springvalley, Summerplains and Jorcrater) -> Story from arriving to Jorvik to defeating Garnok. -> You can find the story related posts with the tags "sso rewritten" and "sso full story series".
So saddle up and get ready for an adventure!
In this post: Characters Harvestlands: Phase 1-2-3 Winterdale: Phase 4-5-6 Springvalley: Phase 7-8-9 Summerplains: Phase 10-11-12 Final Battle: Phase 13-14-15
PHASE 10- Opening Summerplains, Alex and Lisa
PART 1: A Dream of Summer
-> Lisa invites you to Starshine Ranch to take part in a Western Show. MC and their horse beats every challenger, but the last one: Coyote and his horse. MC and Lisa goe to congratulate him on his victory. Herman arrives, introduces you to his brother, Coyote. -> Coyote tells you about himself (went to the USA to be a cowboy, raced, now came home to Jorvik to run a western ranch) and invites you to his Stable. MC tells him noone can get to Summerplains since the Claymore gate is closed and the Suncrown bridge is in ruins. Coyote says he knew the Claymores (those stuckups) closed the gate, but he didn’t know the bridge was in such a bad shape since hardly anyone arrives through the druids’ territory. Also they are a small, tight community with hardly any visitors and any supplies arrive by sea. -> Coyote invites you to come with him and help repair the bridge. Lisa says she will call the Everspring druids to start the repairs from that side. Riding to Fort Pinta and taking the ferry to Port Sylvia.
-> Blackscreen „The Next Morning”. You arrive in Fort Sylvia and race with Coyote at the shoreline road of the Wild Horse Plains to the Suncrown bridge. His team of the stables already arrived and brought the building materials. Helping in the construction tasks, while the druids do the repairs from the other side. You are done quickly, Lisa and Starshine arrive and people cheer as Coyote announces that the Summerplains are officially open. -> Exploring the area. First you go with Coyote and meet his crew. They lead you and Lisa around the Cattle Ranch, Stables, Horseshoe forest and Reining arena. Introduced to new races, barrel racing, reining.
-> The next day Coyote asks you to deliver stuff to Cod Point. MC notices the cool Ghost House on their way there. Introduced to Cod Point, new fishing reputation there. They also give you a package to get back to Coyote. -> On your way back MC decides to check out the ghost house. Getting scared and lost in it, triple jumpscare as MC, Lisa and Mr. Wetton run into each other at a corner. After you realize that nobody is getting murdered by a ghost, Lisa introduces you to Mr Wetton. MC asks him what is he doing in an abondoned house so he turns up the party lights, tells you it is his disco house for special occasions and patries. Tells you he is the brother of Herman and Coyote, who runs Black Light Night Club and supported Lisa and her gang when they were students at Star Academy. Mr Wetton invites you and Lisa to meet him when you are around Fort Sylvia, so he can introduce you to the city. -> Leaving the Ghost house and going to Coyote to deliver his package. He gives you another one to take to Snake Bite and meet his buddy, Tomahawk Tom there. Going to Snakebite, introduced to people there, the stables and races.
-> Next quest is to meet Mr Wetton in Fort Sylvia. Meet at a café and explore the city, he shows you his Black Light Night Club. Lisa and her band has an hour long rock music concerts there every night from 8 to 9. Now you have all reputations west of Claymore bay unlocked, and have access to all sidequests with these factions. -> Everything seems nice and peaceful, but darkness is still looming. A quest marker appears in the Great Clearing. MC is drawn there by a strange magic and goes to a great cut down tree. A team of druids and rangers ambush you asking who you are and why are you disturbing a grave. They tell you of how Jon Jarl cut down a Life Warden tree and his forest in his futile search of immortality and possibly doomed the island. -> The druids of Summerplains don’t trust you. MC asks how could they gain their trust and the druids say by fighting against the darkness, but for now, make friends with the Life Warden Trees to prove you are a good guy.
Tumblr media
PART 2: Primeival Trees
-> MC asks Coyote if there are ancient trees he knows about in Summerplains. He tells of one in the Old Morass and one in the Lone Star Canyon. -> MC goes to check out the Old Morass first. Riding to the swamp, but it has the same darkness over it as Pi’s swamp. Ride to the Clearing and ask a local ranger to guide you in the swamp. You meet at the border and journey through the dark, claustropobic woods, narrow bridges and muddy waters. MC follows a magic instict (appearing as a wisp) to guide them to the Primeival Tree. ->You find the Elder Witchwood and awaken it with magic. She refuses to answer your questions, asks if you are a witch. She asks witchcraft related questions to which none of the pop-up answers are correct. She concludes, that you are not a witch and says that she will only talk to witches or you only if a witch vouches for you. MC and the ranger leave the swamp. MC goes to speak with Holdsworth and Pi. They say they need time to study the ancient witch magics to answer the tree’s questions correctly. They will go to Caer Cailleach to ask the help of Sive and the vala. Pi uses her broom to fly there, but Mrs Holdworth says hers is under repairs right now and asks for a ride there. MC riding double with Holdsworth and taking her to Caer Cailleach.
-> While you wait for the witches, MC goes to Coyote, asks for directions to Lone Star Canyon. You go through Claymore village (nobody will talk to the outsider) and ride through the pass through the Rainshadow Mountains to arrive in the semidesert. You ride through that to arrive in Lone Star Canyon. -> The cowboys of Lone Star are basically like the rangers of the area, they know the maze-like place pretty well. Their leader is Blackjack Bill, who, with his buddies stop you if you try to enter. MC says they came to see the great tree in the canyon, but Bill says that’s a weird ask so you can only enter if you prove you are badass enough to beat him in a race. -> Racing through the maze-like winding paths of Lone Star, pretty obvious Bill knows the paths so much you won’t beat him. Galloping under a rock formation a piece falls down towards Bill, MC uses lightning powers to blast the rock to pieces. Finishing the race, cutscene: Bill does the sliding stop before the finish line and lets you win. He thanks you and tells the other cowboys you are one of those druid kids and MC rides with them to their camp at the foot of the Primeival Tree. -> They watch as you use your power to speak with the tree. Aspen King tells you the cowboys are his friends, and shows you the gifts they bring him – the trunk is decorated with horseshores, skulls, dried flowers, etc. MC asks about the darkness threathening SP. Aspen King tells you of the brother they lost when Jon Jarl came to the clearing (the tree called Ancient Guardian in the Clearing cut down 800 years ago) and the sister that is missing (Shadow Chestnut). MC asks to become friends with AK to make the druids believe they are here to help. AK says he saw you save Bill, so he is gonna give you a chance to prove yourself. Prove your friendship to the cowboys and he shall be your friend too. Reputation with the Lone Star Cowboys unlocked. Reach a certain level with them to unlock the next story quest. -> Once you are friendly enough with them, Bill tells you to bring a friendship gift to AK to gain his blessing. MC and Bill ride through Lone Star to gather the special gifts (water from a spring in the northernmost part of the mountains, eagle feather from Thunderbird Peak, 200 years old horseshoe from an old battlefield, etc). Bring the gifts to AK and be accepted as a Lone Star Cowboy/girl. AK gives you a branch of magic aspen fruits and flowers to show the druids. Taking it to the Clearing.
-> A raven comes to you bringing a message tied to its leg from Sive. Holdsworth and Pi asks to meet you at the Old Morass. You ask the ranger once again to lead you through the swamp and go there, meeting them and another vala witch, Aine. MC and Holdsworth and ranger and Pi riding together to the Witchwood. The witches brought a bunch of stuff that is levitated by Aine after you tied in a package. Arriving at the Elder Witchwood. -> Before waking her up again, the witches tell you what they learned. The vala used to take care of this tree, but since they were corrupted, they stopped doing it. Pi n Mrs H ask you to decorate the area like the vala used to, with the witch stuff they brought. You build a pyre and Aine magics it to look blue. After the place is decorated to look vala, MC wakes the witchwood. -> The witches answer her questions (with your help) and Aine says the vala are back and she will be the guardian of the Witchwood and her grove. The tree only has one more ask: that you ride through the swamp and collect her old witch relics that the animals scattered all over the place during the centuries. You collect them and the Witchwood declares her friendship and gifts you a brach with her flowers and fruits. MC asks EW about the last Primeival in Summerplains, she tells you Shadow Chestnut is hiding in the Claymore mountains. Aine stays, Pi and Mrs H fly home and MC rides to the Clearing to present the symbol of EW’s friendship to the druids there.
Tumblr media
PART 3: The Claymores
-> The plan forward: the SP druids now trust you, send you to find the Shadow Chestnut. Going to Claymore Castle, but denied entrance.MC goes to Coyote, but he doesn’t know how one gets into the Claymore’s favor. You go to the Von Blyssen manor and ask Anne’s mom. She tells you the best way is to challenge and defeat one of their best riders to show you are worthy of their time. Now you have to find a Claymore to defeat. -> MC sneaks around Claymore village to look for riders, but all of them are near the manor. You are about to give up when you notice Sabine and start to follow her. You overhear the people calling her Miss Claymore, and realize this is perfect. You reveal yourself and challenge Sabine to a race, poking at her pride. Bet with Sabine in front on the whole village: if MC wins, she invites her to the manor. Elise appears, knows what MC is up to, warns Sabine not to accept, but she does. Elise is angry, knows how this is gonna end, leaves. Beating her in the race around Claymore village. -> Sabine has to keep her word, taking you to the manor. All stuck-up, mean riders, like the Bobcats used to be. You complete the entrance races to gain membership with the Claymore manor and carve out some respect. Reputation quests to the Claymores: village, manor and stables, tedious grind, hardly gives you any rep first, because they are assholes.
-> Races at the Claymore manor: show-jumping in the arenas, many cross-country trails in the mountains. Introduction to the Eventing Championship: a round of dressage, showjump and cross-country. Running the Claymore cross-country tracks, but other then in the races, you cant explore the mountains (the gates only open if you are racing). Sabine is watching you and clearly hiding something. -> Once you get to high enough reputation, Lord and Lady Claymore name you full member and you can move freely and explore the mountains. MC goes to the Clearing and talk to the druids about the next step. They say you should look for a certain type of chestnut on the ground in the Claymore mountains to find her. Going there and looking in the forest.
-> Find and meet the Shadow Chestnut and discover her standing next to another Stone Circle, just like the one on Starshine Mountain: the Awakened Stone Circle. ShCh is the sister of Astral Crown, protects the Awakened Stone Circle (ASC) from anyone entering, good or evil. MC asks why the good ones can’t enter either and ShCH tells you they trusted humans before and it cost them the Guardian. -> Darko and the whole Dark Rider gang arrives, thanking you for leading them here as they could not find the tree (it distracted the evils). This does not help ShCh to trust you. MC says she thought Darko was dead. D says he had a lot of work to do since he became the new Mr Sands, turns out the work of the old relic is not as easy after all, especially now as Garnok’s Victory draws closer. Hearing this, ShCh summons a shield around the ASC so no one can get in. The combined power of the 5 bad guys are not enough to break shield. They place an unbreakable dark ward around it, because if MC can’t access it that is already a win for them. Race: MC flees the forest and the Dark Riders.
Tumblr media
PHASE 11- Resurrecting the Guardian
PART 1: Finding the Seed -> MC meets and tells the SRs what happened. Need to know how to help Shadow Chestnut, gain access to ASC and prove that they are the good guys. With the help of Linda, Aine, Pi and Holdsworth they make up a spell that lets Witchwood connect her to ShCh. -> Ritual in the swamp: MC taking the dream potion and waking up in the Wealdweave. Walking through it to get to the roots of ShCh and talk to her. She tells you she needs to connect to all 3 of her siblings: Aspen, Witch and Guardian to be able to banish the darkness choking her. But that is impossible, since the Guardian is dead. ShCh tells MC the only way she will ever trust them is if you resurrect the Guardian, but that is impossible. MC promises to do it.
-> Plan: Find a way to resurrect the Guardian. The druids tell you there is a legend that the seed of the Primeival trees lives forever and if the one who cut him down kept it, there is hope. They tell you it was Jon Jarl, who cut the Clearing. Need to learn more about Jon Jarl to find out if he kept the seed (there is a good chance, since he liked his treasures and there is a rumor had a secret treasure chamber dug somewhere in one of the mountains of Jorvik. Going to the Moon Chamber, but Jon’s ghost is not there now. -> Going all over Jorvik to gather clues, following Jon’s footsteps and history. The fleet got into a storm, was attacked by the „kraken” (G’s tentacles) and shipwrecked on Jorvik. Jon conquered the island, gathered many magical weird artifacts and treasures. Then finally he cut down the Guardian and met a vala coming out of the forest. The witch cursed his riches: Jon will never be able to take them away from the island, until he makes his sins right by restoring the trees. Jon tried to take some treasures away, but the ship was destroyed in a storm. He realized the curse works and had a hidden treasure chamber made for them in the remote part of the Northern Mountain Range.
-> MC finds the secret entrance in a narrow valley between the NMR between the Starshade and Coldstone forests. Solving the puzzle to get in, if you step at the wrong place it teleports you back to another valley and you have to find your way back. Jon’s ghost appears, wants to help, MC doesnt trust him, asks why would you help take your treasures. Jon tells you it is not just the tresures, that can’t leave Jorvik, he can never leave either. It has been many hundred years already, and he wants absolution for what he’s done in the hopes of finally being able to leave Jorvik one day. -> Going through the labyrinth of the treasury, finding the seed. The traps activate and the place starts collapsing. Jon is like oops, I forgot to mention. Getting out. The 4 DRs are waiting for you but Jon says take a step back and MC steps into the teleportation circle and taken to a nearby valley. The DRs have no idea where you ended up and the treasury is buried beneath the mountain. MC rides back to the Secret Stone Circle to keep the seed there until you figure out the next move.
Tumblr media
PART 2: Find a way -> Now you have to find a way to use the seed and resurrect the guardian. Linda and the druids get to work researching, and meanwhile MC has to correct and recarve the old runestones in Summerplains, just like you did in Harvestlands, Winderdale and Springvalley. -> The next day Linda have found a clue about a restoration ritual, but some pages are missing. Go ask the LW trees. Sleeping Widow tells you of the failed attempt at resurrecting a tree near her. Tells you how the druids tried to do it, but couldn’t get the other trees to help. -> Going to Fripp’s library to piece together the spell. MC helping Linda with the research. Leave her for the night, the other day she has the spell ready. Tells you the only other thing you are going to need is a branch from Shadow Chestnut.
-> Meet up with the SRs in the Secret Stone Circle to talk about the plan: how to get close enough to get a branch and how will ShCh willingly give it to you. Plan: the SRs will go with you to the Claymore Mountains and make a crack in the shield for you to get in. Now you just need a secret way to go there. Linda says the Claymore castle was also established in Jon Jarl’s time and the druids could not have gone through the town, so they must have had a secret path. Asking the Lone Star Cowboys. They say there is a closed off, overgrown path in the Rainshadow Mountains, but they don’t know where it leads. ->The team goes there, Alex and MC cut the thorny bushes in the way. Riding through the narrow trail (just like in the Greydew mountains to Epona) through the Claymore mountains. You see the Claymore riders running the cross-country trails, but they can’t see you. Getting to the shield around ShCh and the Stone Circle. -> You don’t have much time. The SRs use their magic to make a crack on the shield and MC gets in. Going through a magic labyrinth (like the one before the circus). Sometimes you have to hide from shadow seekers, other times there is a wall and nowhere to go, you have to dispell the wall by choosing the correct runes, like the minigame when activating the runestone in Paddock island. You get to the tree. -> MC tells her they found a way to resurrect the Guardian. Tells her of where they were and what they found out, convincing the tree to give you a branch to attempt the spell. With the branch, you go back through the labirynth and meet up with the SRs.
-> An alarm has been set off and Sabine is riding here to check on the shield. Mc and the SRs ride through the secret path, back to the desert. You see Sabine searching for you in the trails, but she can’t see you. Getting back to the desert, heading towards the Clearing, it is starting to rain, a storm rolls in. In the path through the Rainshadow mountains Sabine is waiting for the team. You say you were just out trailriding in the desert, but she doesn’t buy it. -> The other DRs also appear, by standing in rock outcroppings in the hillside above Sabine. They jump down to confront you and charge you. Alex uses a lighning shield to separate the DRs. Now Sabine and Elise are stuck with Alex, Lisa and MC. Elise’s  power is the only thing that could totally destroy the seed. Linda and Anne have the seed and flee from Jess and Katja to the Clearing. You have a bossfight on your hand. -> The storm is raging and Alex is drawing power from it and keeping the shield up so you and Lisa fight Sabine and Elise. Dodge their attacks and hit them with yours. Once you deplete their health bar, the storm has passed and Alex can’t hold the shield any longer. She lets go, you mount up and race towards the Clearing. -> They chase you. Anne and Linda are safe, but Katja and Jess made a shadowfrost wall in front of you. The druids of the clearing unite their magic with the SRs to break the wall and you run through. The DRs can’t enter the glade and just stand at the edge menacingly, then leave.
Tumblr media
PART 3: Restoration -> You all need a day to recharge your powers. The next morning you return to the clearing. There are just some more things you need to gather: relics for the four circles, amplified with Aideen’s light. The next four days you go with the SRs to do that. -> With Lisa you go to find the Rose of the Wind on top of the Lonely Hill in Wild Horse plains and infuse it with Aideen’s power. With Linda you go to the Old morass to find a pool of magic water touched by the purest moonlight. With Anne, you go to the northest point of the Lone Star area to find the „fallen star” – a special, pandorian crystal meteorite fallen through the northern lights and charged with the morning sunlight. With Alex you go to Thunderbird peak to bring a piece of the old pandorian runestone (destroyed long ago) that was hit by lightning. Once you got them all and infused them with Aideen’s light, you return to the Clearing.
-> The next day you perform the ritual. At the cut down Guardian’s trunk you place the seed. The druids plant the three branches you brought from ShCh, AK and EW around the tree. The SRs use the relics you got and MC focuses their power into the seed. A little sapling appears. -> Cutscene: a nightmarish, dark blue and purple circle in a small island, with floating black runestones. Darko kneels in the middle of a rune circle chanting, when the ground stars shaking, thunder rumbles and tentacles appear in the horizon illuminated for a second by a lightning strike. An incredibly low, animal-like angry growl echoes and turns into a roar, like the sound of a kraken. „Yes! Lord Garnok, I was finally successful to summon- „ „You incompetent, pathetic fool! You let them awaken the power of Aideen and now you do nothing as they awaken the last guardian of the island? I should crush you now and be rid of your annoying existence” lightning strikes and a tentacle hovers over Darko, but retreats. „I give you one last chance to prove your worth. Destroy the Sisterhood again. Cut and burn the trees and stop them from awakening the last defensve line. Their meddlesome spell already pulls me back to my slumber. By the time I awaken, I want them destroyed. So that not even a memory of them remains.” -> MC wakes up in the forest floor. The SRs said you blacked out for a few minutes. The Restored Guardian is already a young sapling, growing quickly, just like how Aideen raised so many trees and plants when she first came to the island.
Tumblr media
PHASE 12- Taking the Awakened Stone Circle Back
PART 1: Raising a tree -> Other trees in the clearing also start to grow, but at a slower rate. You have to reach max rep with the SP druids by doing dailies for them, helping to raise the tree. You go to each of the Primeival trees and ask what the Guardian might need, they send you on a fetch quest near them (get water from a spring, a magic crystal, etc) and take it back to the Restored Guardian. Sometimes the DRs try to attack the grove with frost, fire, darkness or shadow and you have to defeat them. -> Once you reach max rep, RG reaches max size and comes to consciousness. Thanks you and the SRs and you tell him ShCh is in trouble. RG tells you she has the most important job, defending the Awakened Stone Circle, which is the most important line of defence and weapon against Garnok and also the strongest seal that is keeping his prison locked. You cannot let it fall into enemy hands. Plan to take the ASC back.
Tumblr media
PART 2: Preparing the siege -> Swamp ritual again: talk to ShCh. She can barely resist the darkness now, about to give in. MC tells her the Guardian is back and reach for him. She does and the 4 trees of the Summerplains connect. She thanks you and says now she has the power to break the dark shield, but the 5 of you also need to be on the other side and help her. -> Preparing for the siege: plan to march on the Claymore manor, but get the others out of there. Talking to Anne’s mom to hold an competition in Shoreline: invite all big horse factions. MC takes the invitation letter to the Claymores. Help prepare the competition in Shoreline with the other SRs. There is gonna be all types of races, MC tests them: do a dressage routine, a showjumping and a cross-country. Help decorate and clean the place. -> When the time comes, ask Mrs Holdsworth for more of the transformation potion: 5 NPCs drink it to masquerade as you in the competition and make the DRs less sus. The races are announced as looking for the best riders in jorvik and your doppelgangers compete.
-> The DRs can’t resist the challenge and also compete to defeat „MC” and the „SRs”. Your stand-ins obviously lose and try to act in character. „Lisa” loses against Elise and says ima go write a sad song. „Linda” just says well, back to reading, „Alex” goes to punch something, and when Jess glares at her victoriously, „Anne” runs away crying. Jess is satisfied, but Elise starts to suspect, because Anne would never. By the time the DRs start to suspect something, the team is already gone. -> Cutscene: MC and SRs in the Secret Stone Circle, with many of the druids and your allies. Just finished making the plan. Fripp says „Everyone memorized it? Good. Then places everyone. Aideen be with us all.”
Tumblr media
PART 3: Awakening of Light -> You and the SRs ride through the basically empty Claymore manor. Going up through the path to the ASC locked behind the dark shield. The DRs and Darko wait for you there saying your little distraction didn’t work out that well. They walk towards you and step into 5 suspension runes. The 5 riders reveal themselves as more doppelgangers: druids masquerading as you. They say the distraction worked perfectly, they had plenty of time to draw the runes. They concentrate their magic to keep the 5 imprisoned. -> The real MC and Srs ride through the secret path in the mountains again and form a circle: MC in the middle, the 4 around her. They start to focus their magic on MC and MC on the shield. Cutscene: Aine is warned by Witchwood that it has started, closes her eyes, goes into the dreaming. Floats through the Wildweave and talks to ShCh, AK, RG and EW saying connect now. -> MC starts breaking the dark magic shield. Playing many minigames: run around collecting magic fragments, memory game rune choosing, slider, every one that has been in the game before.
-> Once you break all 5 seals (Sab’s, Jess’, Kat’s Eli’s and Darko’s), the 4 trees light up, MC and the SRs focus their magic on the shield individually to break it. Darko breaks free of the druids’ spell and frees the DRs too. They all summon dark magic to destroy the druids (the characters you have known since the beginning of the game, like Avalon, Evergrey, Rhiannon, etc) and are about to strike. -> Roots erupt from the ground and the freed Shadow Chestnut grabs the 5 bad guys, interrupting the spell. Darko teleports them away and the battle is won. -> First time entering the Awakened Stone Circle. Looks almost exactly like SSC, needs some work, for example, you will have to recarve the runestornes, explore the place, open the portal leading to the secret chamber under the glade (find the portal, like in SSC), but later. For now you have won, some druids from the Clearing come here to guard the place. -> The last task is to help ShCh protect it against the DRs. MC, the SRs and the druids magic their own shield around the glade, and use magic to hide it from the DRs. That way if they came back they won’t be able to find even though they know where it is, the forest will just make them lose their way. The shield is complete and the day is won.
-> Last story magic horse grind: The druids of the Clearing tell you Restored Guardian wants to talk to you. He thanks you for your service to Aideen and says with his return someone else also reappeared. Since you banished most of the darkness from the island by restoring it to almost as it was in Aideen’s time, more and more magic creatures reappear. He shows you a little white foal with runes on them like on aideen’s centaur form: a Luxariel foal. -> The last grind is taking care of the foal until it grows up for you to ride them. Every day you get a daily to take the foal to a different magical place in Jorvik and complete a quest there. E.g. take them to the Secret Stone Circle and tell them the meaning of the stones, go to Wildwoods and gather them magical plants to eat, in South Hoof listen to the Singing Yew’s song, etc. Once the progression bar is done, it ages up and you recieve the last free magic horse.

SSO Oc ask game! - 31, 28, 7, 13, 20 (apples-stables) <33
7 - What's their fondest Memory with one of their horses
Alder - When Koda was able go through a forest without having a panic attack.
Pheonix - Ofc her first gold w/ Smookmoon
William - Probably the first time when he was able to lay next to Deepwater in the field and just take a nap
13 - How did they meet the Soulriders? Are they on good term with them?
Alder - Alex used to do some work for the rangers. When Linda dissapeared Alex asked the rangers for help, but only Alder was free to do anything. And well, he accidentally find out he is one of them. He is kinda good with them, he has closer frienship w/ Alex and Linda than Lisa or w/ Anne.
Phoenix - After he met Alder, he started stalking him and nagging him to start teaching her how to use *the* magic she has. Alder was too tired to babysitting another girl so he intruduced her to the soulriders. She is good w/ Alex, Linda and Lisa. She is weird around Anne since after Anne disappeared everbody started calling her "the next Anne"
William - In his time there was no soulriders.
20 - What do they do when meeting new people?
Alder - Trying to be friendly, but he bit anxious around new faces, but he doing his best!
Phoenix - She is a bit obnoxius around people. Pretty loud, trying to be in spotlight. Some don't understand her good intent, so they easily make bad assumption about her.
William - He is your gloomy and edgy 19 century guy, who prefer books toward humans. He mostly met people at banquets and other social gathering, and don't even try to look friendly
28 - What's some stereotypical popular things that they like/secretly like?
Alder - Probably going to Hot Topic (Jor Topic lol) and wearing band shirts lol. Idk really since he mostly out in the wild, he is a bit late from trends
Phoenix - Everything frog related. She owns the color green, so ofc her fav animal is frog. She has frog bucket cap, frog shaped bags. She even god a sadle pad with frogs on it!
William - Oscard Wild. I have no canon birth date or death date for him, but I am 100% he used to love reading stuff from Oscard Wild
31 - Who did they first meet in Jorvik? (I kinda answear this who was their first friends since they living Jorvik from a pretty young age)
Alder - After he and his mother moved to Jorvik, he met Edwin. They used to be classmates in middle school then high school, but since then Edwin went to England.
Pheonix - She born in Jorvik, so idk probably some stable-boy from his father's academy.
William - His nanny. She even let him ride with her when the count and countess was out the manor.

You know what i want in sso?
Tumblr media
I want this book reading function added to a actual library. There are so much space and books for that, and most of all, it’s a Library. You read info there, mostly during quests but it would be fun to read in there.
Topics that could be read about in Library:
Unrealistic colors that Jorvik Horses have
Amazing and rich history of the Riding schools in Jorvik
Dark core’s history (the same that is SSL1ep3)
Jorvik’s Astrology and weird everyday life’s connections to stars. Also stardust, star stones, meteor showers and all those things from SSL
Studies of Aideen’s Legend
Things that Professor Giopertus would have written. (Ocean and nature and astrology)
More lore about Pinehill Village, Pinehill Mansion and Pinehill stables
Multi-universe theory (hints about Pandoria and different timelines that would fill some of the plot holes)
The many runestones that are found all around Jorvik
The different Minerals found in Jorvik and how rich mines are in Jorvik
Galloper Thompsons lore
Witches and the Scarecrow hill
The Harp and what music means in Jorvik.( Kyomi’s singing waking a Coma patient from Star Academy comic, many artists of Jorvik)
Sightings of Yeti, white deer and other animal typer mythical creatures( and that weird blue chipmunk, idk guys have you seen it. I haven’t)
Traditional and known riding competitions of Jorvik (Claymore, Direct)
And many more, these are what came to my mind while thinking about this. Maybe even there could be things that are mentioned in the Soulriders books series, for those who haven’t read or bought the books. Like my stepbrother who likes the game, the mystery but does not want to buy the books.
TLDR: Lore Nerd wants Lore to be stored in the Library, wants other to know about lore.

For the hundredth time, Piper is not a witch.  She just practices witchcraft.
Some of it is sophisticated, she admits.  The potency of crystalizing rusted nails in sunset-colored Pandorian salt and burying them outside of Jarl’s Tomb is considerable even by witch standards.  But witches on Jorvik fall into covens, and her alignment is strictly anti Druid, anti Dark Core, and most recently, anti whatever the Vala are.
Still.  The ground around that tomb will continue to rot until someone figures out what she did.  Her actions may well speak louder than her words.
This is the most advanced magic she has done yet.
Part of the suspicion that she might be the incarnation of the Goddess came from her (admittedly crude) affinity for all four circles.  She is only gifted in the Sun - but the other three do not completely evade her.  Piper has mastered none of them by any means - creation of crystal may be as far as even her Sun powers ever manifest - but she is good enough to use them in this way.
The Sun - the time-elusive magic pulled from Pandoria.
The Moon - access to memories from past and future.
The Star - tending of wounds hundreds of years too late.
Lightning - healing through rage.
This is not a spell that Linda would have suggested she do.  At least, not with full consent and knowledge of the person it is being done to.  As much as she seems more open than most to the idea that Gunnar is not the fearsome, revenge-blind figure most of Jorvik considers him, she refuses to let down her guard.
It is a shame.
They are in the Riding Academy’s upper arena.  A symbol has been drawn into the footing - a four-pointed star with a stone marking each point.
One taken from Pandoria.
One from Paddock Island.
One from Galloper’s Keep.
One from Jarl’s Tomb.
In the spaces between the points stand the four.
Piper next to Juzo, next to Gunnar, next to Morrigan.
The spell begins.
- -
A dungeon.  Solid enough to touch.  Nothing like the white, ghostly figures of Linda’s projected visions.  Everything in perfect clarity.
There is talking outside, but it’s muffled.  Piper figures that either the stone walls are too thick to hear through, or the spell only goes as far as Gunnar remembers.  Either way, it makes no difference.  She knows what they’re saying.
She knows there is only one prisoner here.
Her footsteps feel so solid.  Experimentally, she drags the tips of her fingers against the stone.  It’s rough.  She thinks she could very well scrape them.
...
His hair is curly.  She hadn’t expected that.
But his eyes are green.  Behind the membrane of tears that haven’t fallen yet, they almost seem to glow and glisten.
“...Gunnar.”
He doesn’t speak for a moment.  His eyes narrow.
But when she effortlessly opens the cell by waving her hand over it, he finally speaks up.
“Morrigan is gone.  The presence of witches does not threaten me anymore.”
“Not a witch.”  She clarifies.  “But I am from another time.”
After a confused expression and silence on his end, Piper elaborates.  “About...800 years from now.  Actually, I’m not…really here, either.  I’m inside of your memory.”
“My memory!?”
“Yes.”
“Why in the Jarl’s name-”
“Nope, nononono.  The Jarl is not your friend, okay.  You didn’t do shit.  He betrayed you and sent you to the gallows-”
“What!?”
“...Right.  Rightrightright um...not...dumping on you the stuff that takes you hundreds of years to process.  My mistake!  Sorry!”
Pause.
Think.  Think, Piper.  You fucking idiot.
“...Morrigan is okay.  We can start there.”
“...”
Gunnar immediately slackens.  The release of tension is so noticeable that Piper feels the air change in the cell.  His eyes do not get less intense, but his shoulders drop about three inches.
“Morrigan is…?”
“...Transformed by fire.  But whatever gift or...curse that the witches gave you extends to her.  I promise.  You will see her very soon.”
As she speaks, Piper hovers her fingers over a spot in front of Gunnar.  Out of the stone flooring manifests an immense array of food - more than even the Jarl himself would probably demand.  When it’s fully formed, she sits down properly.
“Eat.  You haven’t since you lost her.”
“You are a witch…”
“No, I do witchcra- you know what?  It doesn’t matter.  I’m not from the coven of witches in Devil’s Gap.  That’s all you need to know.”
“...”
“...Eat.  Really.”
“Should I believe you…?”
“You’re very trusting.  Actually I’d probably be pretty offended if you trusted me less than Jon Jarl.”
Another squint.
“...Fine, here.”
Piper takes a leg off of the chicken and takes a considerable bite.
“S’not poisoned.”  She says with her mouth full. “I wouldn’t poison a guy right before his execution, that’d be such a waste of...mmm...resources.”
“...”
He still looks skeptical, but…
...Tears a piece of the chicken off anyway.
“...I don’t understand why you’re doing this.”
Piper pulls one leg up to her chest, wrapping both arms around it.  She takes the extra minute it takes to chew through her colossal scrap of chicken to think over her answer carefully.
Not that she doesn’t know the answer.  But their relationship is ill-defined, and she is not articulate.
“Because we’re friends.  Someday.”
...There is something in his eyes.  Like that is the first thing she’s said that he absolutely doesn’t believe.  It hurt enough to know his pain when she couldn’t see his face - this almost breaks her.
“We are.  It takes a long, long time.  But Fripp eventually brings someone into the circle who doesn’t believe a damn thing he says.  And it’s a slip up that makes your Jarl wish he’d just gone to hell where he belongs.  Because I am relentless.”
She leans closer.
“I find out that you never did it.  I have spent the last...two?  Three years trying to clear your name.  And it’s working.”
Gunnar stops eating.  He still doesn’t speak, but his eyes are fixed on her.
“You help me, too.  Because I’m stupid.  I don’t think of the consequences when I do things.  Awful, moronic things.  I summon a demon to my stable because I’m blinded by anger.  And my horse - my Morrigan - suffers for it.  You help me get him back.  What you went through in the burning stable does not happen to me because you stopped it.”
Piper’s vision gets blurry and her voice is no longer coming out clear.  But she does not stop.
“Maybe it takes you 800 years to find people who believe you.  But you do.  And we will keep fighting for your innocence until you can walk this island without so much as a second glance.”
Gunnar’s eyes flick up and down.  Searching every corner of Piper’s face for a hint that she’s lying.  But she isn’t.
“...Why now?  Why...my memory?  Why this memory?”
She takes a deep breath.  But when she finds the words, she does answer.
“What you are about to go through...no one should have to do alone.  Even in a memory.”
“...”
“...I cannot stay for all 800 years.  But I am going to stay until you aren’t afraid anymore.”

New bits and pieces, clues and whatnot from NPCs during the Fort Pinta Festival:
Hugh:
o   his hero is John Lewis o   I’d guess SSO wouldn’t have put something like this, including the quote, into the game without the BLM movement o   he even tells our MC to commit some positive unrest
Alonso:
o   talks about forest fires and this year being especially difficult o   the way to Northern Mistfall is almost free again but the whole area seems to be uncharted
Gary Goldtooth:
o   seems to bring the Jorvik Wilds from up North through Mistfall (despite any obstacles) to were he sells them in the end
Linda:
o   excited for school (maybe with double meaning since schools are partly planning to have children in physical attendance again) o   her fave season is fall o   she has an ongoing debate with Rin about which part of the Canter Ella franchise is the best
Anne:
o   wants go back to the Riding Academy o   is aware of her scars and is proud to wear them o   her mom won’t schedule more photo shoots for her which she is grateful for o   is big on the ecological products Farah distributes (or has distributed through us) o   has some kind of guilt for not being there for/with the other Soul Riders during their battles and whatnot before she was freed
Lisa:
o   still wants to set her dad up with someone o   is concerned about how Mary keeps losing her animals (rightfully so, although no one of us would complain about the shillings and the xp we get) o   Dia de Muertos wad big for her before her mom died and is even bigger now o   still doesn’t trust the Keepers of Aideen and kinda demands fairer treatment o   her music career is really taking off and now she has a manager planning a bigger tour for her
Alex:
o   the sea calms her o   riding along the water with Tin-Can and shooting lightning at the water makes her happy (that loading display, anyone?)

Do you think we'll ever see the Soul Riders riding outfits (and Anne's casual) in game? How many of the older Jorvik games have you played? Do you have a favorite? I have SSL 2 and 4, but I just bought 1. It should come next week. Do you know if Star Academy has ever been available in English? I've been told no, but I've also been told how to change to English. I absolutely love your art style!! Everyone looks so sweet, and you portray so much emotion in them. Thank you for sharing your art!
i’m not so sure if sso is going to have the characters change between outfits at any given point (like for a quest etc) but it would be cool! i dont really know how complicated that is for the sso team however and i have no clue if they plan on doing that but hopefully in the future! i have played all the ssl games and i couldn’t get the star stable single player games (autumn rider, spring rider etc) or star academy. but the ssl games are super fun and i hope you enjoy them! for star academy - i am pretty sure theres language options but not sure how to get to them. thanks for the comment about my art too! it means a lot to hear that people find that emotion through how i view the girls ❤️

✨Jorvik Riding Academy ✨
PT1
Firstly, i did not expect to get that much attention on my first Jorvik Academy post, so thank you all SO MUCH!!
Second, I want to go more in depth about the Academy. So, in no particular order, i'm going to be going over some of the things people in the reblogs said...
Tumblr media
@bridge-to-jorvik Thank you!
And yes, the idea for the Academy is to combine a lot of the current mechanics into one big hub of sorts. More rescue foals, and hopefully with time, sso could introduce foals from different breeds, big shire foals the size of the player, knobby knee'd akhal-teke's, just plenty of new baby's with different builds.
Perhaps with its proximity to Jorvik city, new furniture stores could be opened up, with a wide array off different aesthetics and decor to choose from that players could customise their dorms/homes with.
Tumblr media
@samanthawd i'm pretty sure if enough players pitched in a dollar, we could buy a small island.
The idea is definitely that the Academy is a place where even those who aren't students are welcome. In regards to daily's, most of the 'classroom' quests are just general horse facts, learning about Jorvik and its history, the myths and legends surrounding the magical horses. Just general information to make the world feel more full, and even then , there would be alternate daily's where you could 'teach' a class instead of learn.
Tumblr media
@toruq i'm absolutely not freaking out because I LOVE your art!!!
I unfortunately haven't had the chance to play the other games, nor read much of the comics, but I was vaguely aware of Star Academy and Jorvik high, just not there names. The academy itself was based off the idea of Star Academy.
Now while I did call it an Academy, it's more of a prestigious title, it would very much be a uni/college of sorts. The idea is that its a higher education program that is open to equestrians globally, resulting in many different disciplines would be taught and practiced.
@froggistain Your reply is a little long to fit, so i've condensed it a bit.
Why not make it an updated Jorvik stables? Since Jorvik stables is already a place cemented in cannon, I didn't want to intrude too much on the existing lore of Jarlaheim and the stables, hence why I placed it in an unreleased area. I wholeheartedly agree that the area could be expanded on and utilised more, and an early concept of Jorvik Academy had it as such, but again, Jarlaheim and the stables are already so familiar to the playerbase.
Factions within the Academy, and respective tack sets. Yes, much like the wild horses, each discipline would have reputation and faction specific tack that would be obtainable through leveling up. The idea of certain sets contributing to certain skills is amazing!
Course building, difficulty and club riding. The idea of players being able to build different courses and tracks is amazing! And with how large the Academy is, even if a club is using one of the arenas, there would still be plenty of room for other players to move about around the grounds. And I love the idea of including a difficulty rating, the entire idea behind the Academy is to teach people the basics of horsemanship without the need to go to a barn or riding school.
Thank you so much to everyone who commented!! I love seeing people enjoy my silly little overzealous ideas!
I've also sketched up some more tack ideas. The first one is more specifically a Parade set, because I love the idea of, much like the Pride parade, once a week/month, students and teachers would ride around central Jorvik, maybe to a town in the planes, maybe to the city. There could be carriages, flags flown, just a big parade that players could ride in or watch.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, the classic viridian, but to show how the tacks could look in other colours, i've included pink and purple, with matching riders clothes.
Ive also designed a more regal/armoured set, originally this one was catered towards a magical horse, but i think it could be really fun to branch out with the tack designs in the game. We already have horned bridals, so this was ultimately an extension of those.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The viridian and Gold of the Academy, but with a bit of a vampire/Halloween vibe in the silver and red, and a more muted autumnal pallet in the green and bronze.
And...
✨ spooky horse time✨
I had a lot of fun designing this one, especially since its halloween , and with the new magic horses coming out, I love seeing SSE branch out with additional things on there models, such as the horns and antlers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kelpie here was incredibly fun to design, especially with all of the reeds and water-plants hanging from them, and I would love to see some of the unique horses get Quests or chance encounters, it would add so much more to there lore, and the entire lore of the island.

I talked to Alonso about the issues I have been having with Blue since I started riding him. He told me about a Rescue ranch in South Hoof that I should look into visiting. He said the guy who runs it is named Hugh. The place isn't for counseling or anything like that, but he says the guy knows horses and can probably help me out.
Tumblr media
I honestly hadn't known what to expect, but a discharged veteran wasn't one of them. It took me back to when Val, Sylvia and I were still living in America, back when I was in high school, and back when I was a part of my schools JROTC program. I slipped into all my old habits addressing him by his rank and last name. I really didn't mean to. And I apologized the entire time for it, he assured me that it was okay.
Tumblr media
We started with something that, I felt at the time, had nothing to do with me and Blue's relationship - helping him take care of a sick little foal. He told me normally he has an extra hand to help, but the girl who normally helps called and let him know that she wouldn't be able to make it today. I didn't ask for all the details.
Anyways, little did I know that he was taking the chance to get to know me as a person.
He asked me about me, asked me what I did before being a Ranger, and before me and my family moved to Jorvik. I didn't want to bore him with all the details, so I just gave him a basic rundown:
"My older sister and I were raised in the state of Texas by our parents. Everything was good and fine, pretty normal life, and it got even better after Sylvia was born. But after a few years our dad became ill and we hadn't found out he had cancer till it was too late to do anything about it. After he passed away, I got mixed in with the wrong crowd and caused all sorts of problems for my mom and Valentina. Long story short, my big sister had to raise us since our mom spiraled into depression and we struggled for a while, till our grandparents here in Jorvik reached out to us and helped us move here. Unfortunately, a few months before we were supposed to move our mom passed away, and the months leading up to the move were mentally and emotionally draining."
Then he asked me how I ended up with a horse that I felt wasn't compatible for me. And I let him know about my sister, who had been training to be a ranger, before she decided she wanted to get back into riding competitively. After all, he had been her horse at first, till she met that band of circus people on the road. I still don't know what possessed her to go with them. Sure she was juggling a lot at the time - new Jorvik Ranger fresh out of the academy, also riding competitively, while trying to mentor under one of the local veterinarians- she over whelmed herself to be honest.
Anyways, I'm rambling.
I told Hugh about how she left. How after one of her competition's she just...never came home; then a few days later we get a letter in the mail from her about how she won't be coming home, about how she feels like she needs to 'find herself' and who she wants to be in our new home.
I went off on a tangent while talking with the Major about how ousted off I was that she just up and left us, and honestly I'm a bit embarrassed but it felt good to finally talk to someone about it- someone on the outside who wasn't biased.
Tumblr media
Alonso was right when he said Hugh would be able to help. I hadn't noticed how much Blue and I had in common till Hugh pointed it out. He asked me if I had really been affected when my dad passed away, and of course I was. He was my dad, I looked up to him. He told me to think of how Blue must feel, losing his rider, the only person he thought he would ever have to depend on. Told me to think about how I lashed out and asked me if I made things difficult for my sister.
I hadn't wanted to admit it when he asked, but I know for a fact I made things hard for Val. I can't count how many times we had gotten into arguments about any little thing that would set either of us off.
Hugh told me to take that and line it up with Blue, to find the parallels. Blue is just lashing out the same way I did. The person he looked up to is gone, and now here I am trying to replace a person Blue probably doesn't want replaced.
Tumblr media
I need to be patient and understanding with him... Valentina, though she would scold me regularly and didn't agree with my decisions when we lived in America, allowed me to do what ever I wanted to let out my frustration.
Now I need to be there to help Blue.
Tumblr media
Before I left, Hugh told me not to be so hard on Valentina, that she would find her way in life. He told me that if she was ment to come back, she would, and that perhaps she was just catching up on the part of her life she missed out on because things got rough back in America for us.
I hadn't even stopped to think about that... While I was running around with my no good friends doing almost everything that was against the law, Valentina dropped everything to help us and our mom... She quit her after school activities, stopped ridding, got a job, and then came home to take care of our mom and Sylvia.
I left the ranch a little ticked off. I hate admitting when I'm wrong, especially if I feel like someone's wronged me, but Hugh is right. If anything Val is probably just trying to catch up on the years she missed out on-
I just realized I never told him her name.

7 Facts About Izzy + 1 About her Soul Steed
@daine-s-adventures tagged me to do this 8 facts about thing that I know nothing about beyond what was posted, so random 8 facts about my SSO character, here we come! Well, 7. And the last one relates more to Copper because I couldn’t think of another one for Izzy.
1. She was raised by her single father and paternal grandparents.
I know I’ve mentioned her father before in the majority of things I’ve written regarding her history because they were very close, but to restate and elaborate, Izzy was raised by her father and her grandparents, on his side of the family, and they all lived on a ranch in SW Florida where they raised, bred, and trained mostly American Quarters and Paints. Her father is a rider and trainer of some renown that has traveled the country to show at the national level and to do clinics on the family’s way of working with horses. Her mother’s relationship with her father was relatively short-lived; she liked him and he liked her, but, ultimately, their passions were just too different, so she moved on, and wasn’t quite prepared to be a mother. Thus, the tight-as-glue relationship between her and her father, Remy, was born. She writes regular letters home to him to keep him posted on her Jorvegian adventures, though they’re grown a bit more few and far between in pressing times, and she’s done her best to shield him from the reality of the events she has found herself in... Though it’s getting harder to pretend like she’s just been leading a normal, horse-oriented life considering so many of her adventures are of the more magical and mysterious type.
2. She wears her heart on her sleeve, but romance is a bit complicated to her.
Maybe it sounds a little cliche or dramatic to say just about everything changed when Izzy moved to Jorvik to experience the island’s connection and way with horses, and possibly to attend the riding academy, but it pretty much did. Magical adventures aside, she also wound up with feelings for one particular circus master. And Izzy’s the kind of person that wears her heart on her sleeve and looks for the best in people, especially people she cares about. And he was charming and she ended up spending a lot of time around him after initially helping set up his circus. Some of it struck her as odd, but she was also being pulled into the middle of a centuries old battle between good and evil, so a lot seemed odd. Maybe part of her problem now is that she’s never exactly been in a relationship, so, for a while, she wasn’t sure how to or if she even wanted to label her relationship with Ydris. And now she’s torn between what everyone else is calling the inevitable (insert, curse your inevitable but hurtful betrayal meme here) and a deep sympathy for someone who’s cause is just, even if his methods are far from what everyone would prefer. For someone in their first relationship, she certainly had to go and fall in love with a right complicated bastard, didn’t she? Oops. >.>
3. She probably gets along best with Linda.
I imagine Linda as perhaps the most understanding and in-tune with Izzy’s position and feelings about things of the three Soul Riders we currently have met. Lisa’s anger over Anne stung more than Izzy would like to admit, and she doesn’t quite feel her to be completely approachable for it. Alex, on the other hand, is approachable and amicable as well, but Linda and Izzy share a passion and fascination for reading and learning about their adventures and the island. Meteor’s also pretty humorous, too.
4. The Druids, on the other hand? O o f. Except Evergray.
The longer she has been on Jorvik, the more her faith in trusting the Druids has been tested. She’s seen her fellow Soul Riders struggle with it, too, and, considering everything, she’s not sure she likes how little they tell sometimes. While she’s not quite sure how her feelings are working out about Ydris, his point of view certainly didn’t help her trust, and Evergray’s been to Pandoria, too. She sees him as far more open-minded about things and trusts his judgement, whereas she’s feeling more and more that the Druids are maybe a bit too stuck in their ways. She’s experienced frustration with the figuratively closed doors in her face, the lack of answer, and still being treated like she doesn’t know enough. But the problem is she doesn’t, and no one is helping her with that on this side.
But her and Evergray clicked quickly. He’s perhaps the only one with a solid relation to the Druids that she really trusts. And he’d be a damn cool uncle to have, no lie. Uncle Everett can visit her anytime.
5. She wants needs to save Pandoria.
Circling back to her deep sympathy and bleeding heart, Ydris’s story has given her an undying need to find a way to save both Jorvik and Pandoria, and that plays a role in how frustrated she is now with the Druids. To her, there has to be a way, if only the Druids would look past the narrow thought that Pandoria is dangerous and something to be feared. Fear clouds judgement, and she happens to believe now more than ever that the Druids suffer from a decent amount of skewed judgement. She can’t quite understand why she feels so strongly about it internally - the idea that they might not be able to do both even brings up some anger and rage for the unjustice of it, but some pieces of the “goddess reincarnate” puzzle may or may not be clicking into place somewhere in her mind’s subconscious.
6. I don’t necessarily think she’ll have Pandoric scars. But “tattoos.”
But she will have something. Since it’s highly likely, and basically all but confirmed in my head, that she’s the reincarnation of Aideen, I think that power will override the effects of Pandoria on an otherwise human body. But I think it would be cool if, when she tapped into her full potential and powers, she had something like the Will Tattoos form like in the Fable franchise, only in runic designs and Pandoric pink in color. In Fable, they’re basically glowing, scar-like features that glow and appear stronger the more you use Will (which is the magic in the game) and they look like this (x) (the blue glowy stuff). They fade over time if you use less Will, and can eventually disappear, but I think in Izzy’s case, they’d remain as faint lines, almost like scars, but more “tattoo”-esque in nature. I’ve felt for a long time that Goddess!Izzy fully awakened would be massively pissed that her beautiful island and horses are under such great threat, that her Soul Riders have been so thoroughly tested and battle-worn, that Pandoria is suffering... And she’d totally fucking wear pink war paint and you can’t change my mind.
7. On that note, she is capable of Soul Rider powers, but also more Pandoric-style magic.
She can use healing abilities of the Star Circle, foresee things like the Moon Circle, travel to and survive Pandoria in a way akin to powers of the Sun Circle, and use offensive attacks like those of the Lightning Circle, but I also imagine her maybe more as a traditional spell slinger, without the need for incantation or wand or rune stick - capable of the more unknown Pandorian magic style that I’m pretty sure at this point fuels a lot of the power and magic of Jorvik. But, since I’m starting to see Aideen as maybe one of these mysterious Pandoric figures like Fripp and Ydris, she can naturally tap into this potential, if any of that makes any sense? xD
She can kick ass and take names at the height of her power, is basically what you need to know. But, of course, since the Druids have been so damn tight-lipped, she’s got a ways to go before she’s understood and realized all of this potential hiding away in her.
8. SPOILER IF YOU HAVEN’T FINISHED THE NIGHTDUST STORYLINE. But Copperflame doesn’t change colors, necessarily, like a Jorvik Wild Horse...
Or Nightdust. While my first reaction to Nightdust’s new look post the quests, I think what I’d really imagine for Copper is “Will Tattoos” for him, too, mimicking the kind of runic designs on the statues in Guardian’s Dale, and a sort of glowing aura like Concorde has in SSL 3, with a Pandoric pink glow to his eyes, his wings, and maybe glowing hooves. Maybe this is simply because I have no idea what color he should change into if they did something like Nightdust’s coat because even though gold is what we traditionally associate with Aideen, I don’t think Copper should be gold. But, I mean, I’m also imagining him rn as a big, fluffy painted draft cross, soooo... I would be happy with some glowing eyes and updated, more permanent/usable wings. xD @SSO, pls let me have a draft build for my starter pon? Can you imagine how cool? How more customizable it would be if we could choose a build type for our starter on top of more customization of their coats? Skreeee???
It’d require a lot of work, obvs, that whole ordeal, but it’d make for some really snazzy cutscene moments and cool game play akin to the excitement of rescuing Justin and figuring out we could fly. Just sayin’.

Age: 17
SSL took place 2 years ago. Lisa was 16 when it happened. She’s only aged a year. Dermatologists hate her! Click here to find out about this age reversing product! Or her being Star Circle means her body is now actively repairing itself against aging, slowing the aging process. But given we don’t have immortal Star druids walking around (that we know of)...
Birthday: Jan 27 (Aquarius)
Taurus, Aquarius, they’re like.... the same thing right? We’ll ignore that she confirms Mr. Sands is right about his Taurus guess in both the games and the comics.
Birthplace: Texas, USA
Lisa better only speak in southern slang from now on. she better be saying ‘ma’am’ and ‘sir’ and a bunch of contractions and yalls
Special Skills: Star Circle, Western Riding
western is news to me, she wasn’t even involved in any of the western courses in the Star Stable CD games. Which had western. It had a whole game dedicated to western.
Two years ago Lisa moved to Jorvik from Texas when her father got a job on one of Dark Core’s oil rigs.
there aren’t oil rigs in Texas you know. No oil rigs in the entire US.
After meeting her fellow Soul Riders and saving Jorvik, she turned her attention to another passion -- music! She attended Jorvik’s Star Academy and got pretty famous in the indie rock scene, touring at festivals.
heyyyyy sso wanna re-release the My Star Academy games? Ideally in more languages? That’d be nice
After her last show, she quit her band and moved back to Jorvik. Shortly after her return, she disappeared. How could someone so cool and famous disappear into thin air?
after touring the world she probably wanted to disappear for a bit. but also that wasn’t quite Lisa’s intention. But we got her out wait- with them changing Anne’s time in Pandoria from two years to a few months does that mean Lisa was only in Pandoria for like, a few days instead of a few weeks?

Note
these are for the ask game, i'd like to hear about phoenix. 9, 10, 17, 20, and 31. thank you
9 - Where are they from originally?
She born in Jorvik. Both of her parents are Jorvikian, but they used to live in Germany and then moved to Jorvik first for their married and then stayed since Phoenix's father opened a riding academy.
10 - How did they get to Jorvik (I gonna answear this as what they do now)
She living in Jorvik City, but now she spending her summer at the Silverglade's dressage summer camp.
17 - What's their favourite city/town in Jorvik?
Jorvik City is the number one for her. She likes shopping, hanging in a caffé shop. After that probably Silverglade and Silverglade manor, then Jarlaheim
20 - What do they do when meeting new people?
She is a bit obnoxius around people. Pretty loud, trying to be in spotlight. Some don't understand her good intent, so they easily make bad assumption about her.
31 - Who did they first meet in Jorvik? (I answer this as who was their first friend)
It was a stableboy from his father academy. The guy was only here for one summer, but the little Phoenix (around 5 or 6 years old) really liked to hand around the boy while he fed to horses, cleaned the stables, or cleaned the gear for the academy students. He didn't mind the girl who always asked stuff, he gladly answeared as good as he can. After the summer ended he went to the united states to continue his education. Phoenix didn't hear about him since then

Lisa Peterson
Age: 17 Horse: Starshine Jobs: Soul Rider, Musician Birthday: Jan 27 (Aquarius) Home: Silverglade Manor Birthplace: Texas, USA Favorite Food: Tacos al Pastor Special Skills: Star Circle, Western Riding Hobbies: Singing & Guitar, Shuffleboard
Lisa is the Soul Rider of the Star Circle and rides the horse Starshine. Two years ago Lisa moved to Jorvik from Texas when her father got a job on one of Dark Core’s oil rigs. After meeting her fellow Soul Riders and saving Jorvik, she turned her attention to another passion -- music! She attended Jorvik’s Star Academy and got pretty famous in the indie rock scene, touring at festivals. After her last show, she quit her band and moved back to Jorvik. Shortly after her return, she disappeared. How could someone so cool and famous disappear into thin air?
Alex was right to worry -- we found signs that Dark Core was responsible for Lisa’s disappearance! The enemy used some sort of magic to blast Lisa into Pandoria. To bring her back, we had to ask for help from the Sleeping Widow, one of the “primeval trees” that was planted by Aideen thousands of years ago. At last Lisa reunited with Starshine!
