You weren’t really excited about Coachella, but your friends on the podcast were destined to change your mind.
You joined the podcast earlier on in the year, and when Coachella came around, you had a ticket that you couldn’t get out of - no matter how hard you tried.
“Come on.” Tara begs, “You need to come with us!”
You sigh, “Tara, I don’t r-“
“You’re either coming or you’re fired.” Zach says and Jared steps in, “Hey now. Don’t say that, a lot of people like her.”

Weekend one was a partial blur.
You get bits and pieces as you look at the photos you took, which were a mess by the way, but they were so funny to look at.
You had to admit, you were so glad you didn’t try to back out last minute.
One thing in particular that you remember clear as day is standing in the crowd, Jared’s arm around you as you listen to Lana and Billie sing ‘Ocean Eyes’.
You were in total awe of them, just like Jared was of you.
He looks down at you a gently smile resting on his lips as he admires your face. How your eyes are glazed over from a mixture of alcohol happiness because being here was so much better than you had originally thought.
Even though he was slightly plastered, Jared couldn’t seem to keep his love drunk stare off of you. You’d look up at him and he’d just smile at you before looking back up toward the stage.
Every now and then Tara would elbow you and smirk, teasing you about how close you and Jared have become, “I told you, you needed to come.”
You roll your eyes, smiling as you lean into Jared’s body more. Another think you remember,is how you and Jared went back and fourth, all night stealing drunk kisses from each other.
It quickly turned into a competition and the race to find who can steal the most by the end of the night was on - and you won that race.
As weekend one at Coachella came to an end, you can definitely feel that you and Jared are closer. You text and talk on the phone more. You pick on him during the podcasts more and even though his red cheeks scream that he hates it, he secretly loves any attention you give him.
You tried not to let it get to you, but you were questioning yourself on why he hasn’t said anything about what happened.

“Sounds like you gotta go.” Jared sighs, “Tell your mom I said happy birthday.”
You don’t want to hang up, but you know it’s the right thing to do, “I’ll call you later.” You laugh as you stand up, “Don’t get drunk, too fast.”
He laughs, “I’m not making any promises, sweetheart.”
You tilt your head, “Yeah, yeah.”
“Y/n.” Your sister waves you on and you nod, “Alright, I’m being herded so..” you laugh, “Be safe. Call if you need anything.”

You hang up and walk over to your sister. She stares st you and you give her a look, “What?”

You rest your phone down and watch out the window as your mind races about what you are with Jared.

Tara flicks off Zach, not even looking at him before taking off her headphones and waking away. You look at Jared, “I think we broke her.”
Alyssa gasps, “No! You didn’t!”
“There it is.” Jared laughs and Tara walks back over, “I remember you leaving now, Jared. You sneaky mother fucker.”

They had met when Y/n moved to where Tara lived (idk where that is) and went to the same middle school and high school.
The two had met through a friend and became the best of friends.
They still talk to this day.
Tara then decided to invite her best friend onto the podcast she was on, dropouts, with her co-hosts Zach Justice and Jared Bailey.
Zach had been looking for a new guest to have on the podcast and thought it'd be a good idea to invite her best friend.
Y/n immediately agreed and prepared herself by watching the podcast and paying attention to Tara's costars.
From what she had watched Zach seemed like a sarcastic asshole and Jared seemed like a sweetheart and Tara just seemed like Tara.
Y/n and Tara were very similar. They said and did similar things.
They both loved to party, drink, and talk, they both were in love with Sugar.
Y/n patiently waited for the days to pass till she could meet these guys and see her best friend.
After a few days passed she had finally reunited with her best friend after a few months.

Just as Jared told you to sit down the doorbell rang, Jared walks over to the front door opening it to reveal Alyssa.

"Oh right," Zach replies standing up, walking about two steps over to you to help you with your headphones making sure they're good.
"Is that good?" he asks holding onto the headphones just in case you need any more help, you glance up at him and nod, "Yeah," staring deep into his eyes.
You awkwardly clear your throat once he pulls away taking his seat.
The cameras then start rolling and Zach starts talking, "What's up guys? welcome to episode ### of dropouts. This week we have Tara Yummy's childhood best friend, Y/n."
"Hi," you awkwardly say not knowing what to say. Zach then introduces the Patreon telling everyone to go subscribe.

"But we basically met through her, and we really hit it off, we became really close and then when we later found out that this friend was fake, we continued to be friends,"

Zach then asked about this friend, you let Tara explain watched as she talked.

"Like what?" you question not knowing what they were talking about, "We talked about this before," Tara tells you.

"I see it," Jared nods.

"Well, no, it depends, she looks at most people like that but if she really, really likes you, like if she has a crush on you, she's gonna look at you like she's in love, but if you're just a friend or best friend, like me, she'll look at you like that,"
Jared nods and Zach speaks up, "Should we bring in a celebrity crush?"
"Uh, no." you immediately shake your head with a stern tone causing Tara to laugh, having an idea on who it is.
"Who is your celebrity crush?" Tara questions, "I'll tell you later," you tell her in a whisper as Tara lets out a laugh.
The podcast continues with questions, sexual jokes, and Zach just being Zach.

Okay this is a mini rant about the Dropouts podcast which I love love love. I’ve been a fan since like the third episode came out and listened to them every week. I was there through the whole Indiana situation and while I don’t fault her for leaving and them not having her stay, it did make me kinda sad bc I miss the “what up b words” and things. Anyways, I still love the podcast, it’s still hilarious and I love Alyssa so so much. I also love that they’re having Tara on more because she’s iconic and I love her. This whole thing was pretty much to say while I love the podcast Tara is so much like Indiana sometimes it makes me a little sad and nostalgic and I wanna know if anyone else is getting that feeling. There are a lot of heads that were very difficult to work around, but the show is still captured well and the actors are only occasionally blocked for a few seconds at a time. There are some very quick dropouts, but no major blackouts. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes playbill scans.

You walk through the door leading into the studio, standing there quietly in the door way to see who noticed you first.
You had just gotten back from a two week work trip in Paris, and sadly, your boyfriend, Jared, couldn’t go with, so to say the least, it’s been a looong two weeks.
You look around and your eyes lock onto Tara’s, are you swear they grow almost bigger than her head. You give her a wave and Zach looks at her confused.
Jared stares at her, “What.. what is happening? Tara?”
She’s letting Jared figure it out himself. “Oh.” Zach says with a laugh and Tara shakes her head at Zach, “Don’t say anything.”
“Oh my god I’m.. so confused, what is ac-“ Jared freezes, going absolutely speechless when he looks over at you.
You hold your hand up, wiggling your fingers as you smile, holding back laughter.
“For those who are only using their ears today, Jared’s cover up was gone for two weeks and she just surprised us all here in the studio, so welcome in, y/n.” Zach says and you roll your eyes, laughing, “Hey”
”oh my god, she’s not-.” Jared stands up, “I’m leaving early, bye.” It all happens so fast, he takes his headset off and next thing you know, you’re engulfed in his arms, pressed firmly to his body.
“Fuckin’ missed you.” He mumbles, pressing kisses to your head as he ignores the cheers from Tara and Alyssa, “C’mon.”
He slides his hand down and leads you of the studio, and you following him with a smile, knowing you’ll be busy for the next few hours.

Except she was famous before they were and moved to LA way before they did, where she decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a photographer.
She pursued her dreams and became a famous photographer; she photographed thousands of famous people, her brothers included.
If they were famous, she had most likely taken pictures of them. For example, she took pictures of Sam and Colby, Jake Webber, Tara Yummy, The Kardashians, Selena Gomez, etc.
Some of them were for stores, merch and others but some of them were just for her Instagram.
She had also been taking pictures for movies and shows, but only part time, or she just stood around in case they needed some extra help.
Sam, Colby, Jake, Tara, Carrington etc. were all friends of hers that she met from her job, and they had been for quite some time. She had also taken some pictures for the dropout's podcast merchandise.
She had heard of Zach Justice and Jared Bailey, along with their ex-cohost Indiana Marasa.
In fact, she had met Zach Justice and had been invited onto the podcast, since she was their photographer.
The two really hit it off, but Zach's jokes left her flabbergasted, he had come up with them so fast, just on the spot, some of them felt as if he had just been waiting to use them for a while, they were just so weird, inappropriate, and funny.
It was one of the reasons why she fell in love with him, and her reactions were one of the reasons that he had fell for her.
She had also become famous for uploading her amazing pictures on TikTok, twitter, etc. and for writing short stories.
She wasn't a perfect writer, but she tried her best and people seemed to really like them.
Y/n currently sat on the couch of her shared house, with her triplet brothers in LA. The four decided to buy a house together so they could all stay close in LA.
They combined their money and bought a huge house for the four of them.

You look at your contact name and your kind of pissed. You and Zach have been dating for a few months now.
But you guys didn't tell anyone because you knew how overprotective your brothers were.
So, you guys decided to hide it and even though there was a heart next to him name, you did that with all of your guy friends, and you even told them that, so they didn't suspect anything.
You let out a soft sigh, you didn't want to blow up his phone, especially because you knew that he was most likely busy.
So, you turn your phone off and watch tv for a few minutes, until you hear your phone ring.
You pick it up to see a text from Zach.

Y/n look down at your phone with a smile.
Zach had been so busy recently that you rarely saw him, you heard from his almost every day, but you hadn't seen him for almost a month.
You then put your phone on the side table and turning your attention back to the tv with a smile as you waited for him to come and within 10 minutes he was here.
She jumped up from the couch when she heard the doorbell ring causing her dog, Bingo, who she's had since she was 21, to bark.
"Bingo be quiet!" you exclaim; you open the door to reveal Zach standing there in his leather jacket and black jeans.
"See it's just Zach!" you tell your dog before engulfing Zach in a much-needed hug.
You squeeze him into a tight hug. "I missed you," you exclaim pulling away to slap his shoulder.
"Oh, well I'm sorry that I have a life," he jokes causing you to once again slap him.
"Fuck you!"
"Fuck me?" he questions with a teasing tone and a smirk.
"Sure," you squint at him, Zach then lifts you up, causing you to let out a yelp and wrap your legs around his waist as he carries you over to the couch with Bingo following after you.
Zach then body slams you onto the couch causing Bingo to bark, you shush him as Zach hovers over you with a small smile.
"Where are your brothers?" he asks, "I don't know," you shrug.
"But I woke up and they were gone," you smile.
"Great soooo that means I can do this," he tells you before bringing you into a passionate kiss, you immediately kiss back smiling in the process.
Slowly dragging him down on top of you, he gently bites your lips causing you to smile once again.
Zach then starts to take off his leather jacket, which you were fine with, but when he tried to take off his shirt you stop him.
"We can't." you tell him in a whisper, "What?" he questions confused.
"We're not allowed," you reply, "Not allowed? to have sex in your house...?" he asks trailing off in confusion.
"Not down here," you tell him with a small smile causing a huge smirk to grow across his lips.

Zach then stands up, picks you up in the process, causing you to wrap your legs around his waist, leaving his leather jacket downstairs.
Zach pushes your room door open not pulling away from your lips.
He slams the door shut, before slamming your body onto your bed.
Your lips move in sync, crashing like waves.
The fiery feeling between your legs grew as he squeezes your hand while kissing you deeply.
You place your free hand on either side of his face as he brings your hand down gently pecking it before lifting his shirt over his head.
A smirk makes its way onto your face as you lean up to kiss him but just as you do your door slams open revealing Matt and Chris.
You jump away from him to see your brothers standing in your doorway with a disgusted look on their faces and Zach's leather jacket in hand.
Chris screams in disgust causing Bingo to start barking.
You mentally curse to yourself before asking, "What're you guys doing back home?"
"What are you two doing?" Chris asks disgust filling his tone.
"None of your business!" you exclaim throwing a pillow at them because they ruined your moment.
"When were you gonna tell us that you two were dating?" Matt questions, raising his eyebrows.
"Uh, I don't know... never," you state with an obvious tone.
"Why not were your brothers?" Chris asks with a furious tone, "Because you act like this!" you shout in anger.
"Also, you guys are so overprotective," you add with sigh.
"Look... I don't care who you date," Matt says, "Me neither," Chris agrees with a nod, "Neither do I," Nick adds poking his head in the room causing you to smile.
"Just as long as he treats you right," Matt finishes, "Yes sir," Zach salutes causing you to roll your eyes.
"And as long as you guys don't have sex in the house," Chris adds on with a shrug, "Yeah because no one wants to hear that," Nick agrees with a tight-lipped smile.
"Get the fuck out!" you softly chuckle with an eye roll.
Nick was the first to get out, Matt following after.
"Just don't do anything, you know you're not allowed!" Chris tells you as you stand up push him out.
Snatching Zach's jacket, then slamming the door in his face with a fake smile before locking it as Chris yelled on the other side.
You then turn around to face Zach, "Were still doing it... right?" he questions, "Duh," you reply before throwing his jacket at him.
You then run over to Zach sliding across the floor to where he sat at the edge of your bed.
He pulls you into his lap bringing you into a kiss.

Y/n Yummy, Tara Yummy's older sister by a year, was currently sitting in the passenger's seat of Zach Justice's truck with Jared Bailey, one of her new best friends, and Tara, her younger sister, in the back seat as they drove to the dentist with her camera in hand.
Y/n Yummy had met the two guys from her sister. She had been introduced to them when they invited her onto the Podcast. She had been invited because of her sister and because the two boys plus Alyssa wanted to meet her after hearing how highly Tara spoke of her.
She had been recording for her YouTube channel. She and her sister had both decided to make their own YouTube channels a few years ago, with the help of Jake Webber.
The two had made their channels and then recently decided to make a conjoined account as requested by fans. They did vlogs, challenges, etc.
Y/n was trying not to shit her pants out of fear. Y/n had to get her wisdom teeth taken out and her nerves were through the roof. She always prayed that she didn't have to get them taken out and now she did, and she was scared shitless.
"Oh c'mon, it won't be that bad," Jared told her from the back seat trying to cheer you up while placing a hand on your shoulder, "No my friend told me that, that shit hurts," Tara said, Y/n turned around to face her sister with a glare, who immediately regretted her choice of words and shut up.
"Well, we're almost there so... yeah you're gonna have so much fun," Zach trailed off with a sarcastic tone causing Y/n's eyes to widen in fear. Tears streamed down your face as you guys reached the dentist.
You gripped the camera in your hand in nervousness and fear. Like Tara had said 'That shit hurts' You didn't want to get your teeth pulled out of your mouth and then be in pain for a week or two.
Not only that you didn't trust yourself to be on anesthesia, especially around Zach.
Needless to say, you had a huge crush on Zach. It was pretty obvious to Tara and Alyssa, and Jared was slowly catching on to their playful and flirty banter and the sexual tension.
"We're here!" Zach shouted as if he was excited, "Why do you sound so happy?" Jared asked with confusion filling his tone, "Yeah do you want to see me in pain?" Y/n asked with tears rolling down her face as her voice cracked.
Zach rolled his eyes unamused, before getting out of his car and making his way over to the passenger's side. He knew how stubborn she was, just like her sister, she'd be in there for a while before even taking a step outside of the car.
"Come on," Zach instructed you with open arms as he opened the door, "No," you whined, "I don't wanna go, Zach." you told him as you whipped away your tears that just kept coming down, "Let's go," Zach was very patient and waited for her to get out of the car, but again she was very stubborn.
"I don't wanna go, Zach," you whined as Tara gently took the camera out of your hand, "well you have to so come on," Zach told her with a monotone tone holding his hand out for you to grab considering that just like your sister, you were very short, and his truck was very big.
Y/n sat there refusing to move an inch but after some time Zach got a little annoyed and picked her up bridal style and brought her into the dentist as she tried to fight him.
Tara recorded in amusement, that she had never seen her sister act like this before, and seeing it was pretty amusing to her and Jared.
The four had entered the dentist and got signed in, once they finished, they sat down in the waiting room, Y/n tried to make a run for it, but everyone jumped up to grab her and forcefully sat her down in the chair.
"Tara get off of me!" you exclaimed annoyed how Zach and Tara suggested her sitting on your lap, so you didn't move, "No!" she shouted back causing her to get some looks. "You're embarrassing me!" you argued trying to find any way to get her off of you.
"You're embarrassing yourself," Tara and Zach told you, you rolled your eyes at them and huffed in annoyance. Tara sat on your lap with a smile as Zach took a picture for Snapchat.
A few minutes later the dentist came in and called your name causing Tara to finally stand up letting you get up as well. You once again tried to innocently make a run for it, but Zach was quick to shoot up and grab you by the waist.
You huffed in defeat and let him carry you into the room.
You didn't mind him carrying you like this, in fact, you were filled with joy, you just wished it was under different circumstances.
Zach sat you down onto the chair as you whined, "Come on it won't be that bad," Tara innocently laughed, "Are you serious? Do you not remember what you said like ten minutes ago?" you questioned annoyed.
"That shit hurts," you quoted her.
"Hi! I'm Doctor Jackson, how are you doing today?" The doctor asked as she put on some blue rubber gloves, "Nervous," you answered, "That's okay, everything's gonna go just fine," she told you, which didn't help relax you at all.
"You're gonna be fine!" Tara reassured you with a smile, you nodded, not knowing how true that would be, you didn't think it'd be true at all, but you nodded.
"Yeah, it won't be as bad as you think," Jared agreed with a nod and his star smile. You turned to Zach hoping he'd make a stupid joke to lighten the mood, but he didn't he just smiled and nodded in agreement.
It was the first time that you had actually seen Zach be quiet.
The doctor then started explaining some stuff that would happen during the surgery, which spooked you a little more than you thought it would've as Zach recorded for your YouTube channel, even though you assured him that you could do it yourself.
You never wanted your wisdom teeth to be taken out, and now it was happening, and you were scared as hell, it was your biggest fear and now it was actually happening.
The doctor then kicked them out of the room, leaving just you, but you stopped them. You had a very bad fear of needles, so you stopped them asking at least one of them to stay so you could hold their hand.
Tara immediately opted out, Tara also had a severe fear of needles, and every time she saw one, she passed out immediately, especially when she got piercings.
Jared offered to stay but Tara gave him a look, telling him to follow her so that Zach and Y/n could have some alone time.
Y/n turned to Zach and reached out for his hand as the Doctor got ready to inject you with the needle.
You squeezed Zach's hand out of nervousness as the needle went in, you squealed in pain as the anesthesia started to kick in, "See you in a..." you told Zach trailing off before you passed out cold.
Zach turned to look at you one last time and then left the room leaving you and the doctor. Deep down Zach felt bad for you, he knew you had a fear of needles and of getting your wisdom teeth taken out.
And he knew how badly you were dreading it today.
Zach, Tara, and Jared sat in the waiting room as they waited for your surgery to be done.
Zach's knee bounced up and down in nervousness. He knew everything would be okay and he knew you were out cold so you couldn't feel anything, but he still felt bad for you, and he knew you'd probably be crying when you woke up.
Tara however knew everything would be perfectly fine and wasn't worried at all, but she was preparing herself for how you'd act when you woke up, mean, sad, mad, in pain, sensitive, stubborn, just a complete pain.
But that's what happens when you have a sister.

A few hours later, you slowly woke up to see and hear Tara, Zach, and Jared glancing at you as they talked to the doctor. Their voices were muffled, but you could hear Tara yapping from a mile away along with Zach's stupid and mean jokes and Jared's sweet voice.
You brought your hands up to rub your eyes letting them adjust to the bright lights once you were finished. "Ahh look who's finally up," you heard a familiar voice say, once your vision went back to normal you turned to see Tara looking at you with a smile as Zach and Jared talked to the doctor.
You looked around the room to see everyone doing their own thing. Your vision was still a little blurry and you felt very loopy, and you couldn't stop yourself from giggling.
Your giggling got you some looks from Zach who gently smiled back at you. Butterflies erupted in your stomach at the gesture.
"Ooh, that hurts!" you exclaimed at the pain in your mouth, "Yup, it's gonna hurt for a while," Doctor Jackson told you with tight tight-lipped smile.
You groaned at that. You didn't want to be in pain at all. The Doctor then started explaining some things that you could such as ice cream, avocados, soup, mashed potatoes, etc.
"But I hate soup!" you cried in pain and disgust, "Why are you crying?" Jared asked completely confused, "Because I hate soup! and my mouth hurts!" you sobbed.
"I have never seen her this sensitive," Tara muttered to the two who nodded in agreement, "We should probably get going," Jared suggested as you cried in the chair.
The doctor then helped you get into the wheelchair handing it over to Zach who wheeled you out of the dentist and over to the car.
"Can we do donuts?" you ask Zach, who decided to make a dirty joke, "I don't think you can have sex with a donut, sweetheart," Tara then sent him a glare and explained, "She meant can you spin her around in a circle before we get in the car, dumbass,"
"Ohhh," Zach said in fake realization, Tara then bought her phone out and recorded it for your YouTube channel. Zach then spun you around in a circle one last time as you giggled, before carrying you into the car.
You got comfortable in the front seat almost falling asleep in the process, but a few minutes into the car ride you woke up completely and turned to Zach, "Can we get ice cream?" you begged.
"Whatever you want, sweetheart," he said with a nod, causing you to smile. Meanwhile, Jared and Tara turned to each other with a knowing look and smirk.
"Where from?" Zach asks, "McDonald's!" you mumbled in excitement, "McDonald's it is," he said with a nod.
Two minutes later they reached McDonalds and they all got ice cream. Y/n thanked Zach and happily ate her ice cream in silence with a smile on her face as Tara yapped to the camera.
A few minutes later they arrived at your and Tara's place, you immediately tried to step out of the car, but everyone was quick to yell at you to stop. Zach walked around to the passenger side of the car and carried you inside.
He brought you to your room and lied you down, double-checking if you needed anything before, he and Jared left.
"Stay with me?" you question, "I don't want you to leave..." you add trailing off, knowing that you probably sounded so stupid and cheesy to him.
Zach nodded and shooed you away causing you to move over to make room in your bed for him, he kicked his shoes off and dove in next to you. You smiled up at him as you got comfortable in your bed.
You never thought that you'd be lying next to him in your bed, but here you were, snuggling into his chest with a smile trying not to fall asleep so you didn't miss this moment.
"So now what do we do?" you ask. Zach being the person he is and kind of uncomfortable responds, "Is the part where we have sex?"
"Oh my god!" you gasp, in utter shock, "You okay?" he questions acting dumb, "I just love you," you tell him with a laugh, "I love me too," he responds thinking you're just joking, "Wow, okay then,"
"What? Are you being serious?" he asks, "Yes Zach." you nod, sitting up feeling bold, the loopiness starts to wear off as you the conversation got more serious.
"Like as more than a friend," you told him, figuring he'd ask, which he planned to. "I guess... I love you too," he shrugged also sitting up, your mouth dropped in offense, "I'm just kidding, you know that was just a bit,"
"Was it?"
"Yes. You know I love you," he said causing you to smile, your cheeks being all big and puffy because of the gauze in your mouth.
Zach wasn't the type to say I love you, and the fact that he said it warmed your heart, knowing that he actually did care about you.
You and Zach then started to lean in, but Zach stopped, "I'd kiss you but y'know," he softly spoke, his breath hitting your face, as referred to the gauze, "We can always fix that," you suggested, "But only if you really want to,"
"I do," you nodded.
You then took the mouth gauze out of your mouth and placed it on a napkin on your bedside table. Turning around to face Zach, who immediately leaned in and pressed his lips to yours.
Butterflies erupted in your stomach as your lips moved in sync with his. You had been wanting to kiss him for a while and it was finally happening.
You smiled into the kiss, before you both breathlessly pulled away.
Just as you pulled away your mouth started to fill up with blood. You quickly got up, stumbling in the process, and ran to your bathroom, spitting the blood out and into the sink.
Zach followed after you asking if you were okay, but you shut the door not wanting him to see you as you spit up blood. But Zach opened the door and held your hair back as you did and rubbed your back in comfort.
After you finished throwing up the blood, you cleaned your mouth out and went to go lay back down and watch tv with Zach.
You decided to put on your favorite Disney movie, Tangled, and watched it. "Tangled? really? Tangled is so childish? what are you five?"
"Just shut up and watch it! you're gonna like it," you promised, pressing play on the movie. Zach watched as you sang along to the songs whenever they played, but soon enough, you started to get tired and slowly drifted off.
But before you did, you muttered something, "Love you Zach," with a smile, before snuggling into his chest as your eyes slowly closed.
Zach looked down at you shocked by your words, but smiling to himself, "I love you too," he smiled before turning off the tv and drawing you in closer to him, and pressing a tender kiss to your forehead, before falling asleep soon after.
