I was today years old when I found out that the core reason why Janice hated Regina was because she told her she was Lebanese, but Regina mistook It for lesbian and told the whole school....I really thought Janice was a lesbian this whole time and yet didn't question why she got with Kevin G at the end....

My issue with the Mean Girls musical (and "I'd Rather Be Me" – while I do love that song) is that it paints Janice as a victim who has done nothing wrong, when in the (original) movie she acknowledges that she's mean.
The musical strips away all of Janice's accountability, even though she is more guilty than the very naive and inexperienced Cady is.

As someone who is obsessed with Mean Girls and has the musical memorized - it’s incredibly annoying to see everyone hate the new Movie for the wrong reason
“Renee Rapp makes such a good Regina” No she does not
“Stupid With Love is bad” taking into account Agoundi’s range and movie conventions, it’s pretty good actually
“Janice Ian is so good! They fixed her character!” They ruined her character and I wanna stab my eyes out
“The new take on Regina’s black outfit looks so good”
“Revenge Party was bad” Could have been worse, it’s not a sin
“The product placement is so cringey!” Yeah this is a musical I think they were going for that effect

Biiig infodump!
raymond (Ben) , Catlin (Addison) , and Georgina (Janice) adre all in there 30s (r=35 c=33 g=37) and narissa (Jenn) is a little order at 40 years old and ernie (magic/Herbert) is the oldest at a wopping 77 years old. And mason (Ian) is the youngest at 28
So mason is the youngest, then Catlin (5 year gap) then Raymond (3 year gap with Catlin) then Georgina (another 3 year gap, this time with Raymond and georgina) then narissa (with another 3 year gap!) and lastly ernie (with a big ol' 37 year gap)
