On this day, 14 July 1967, Black anarchist Martin Sostre was arrested at his Afro-Asian Bookstore in Buffalo, New York and charged with “sale of narcotics, riot, arson, and assault.” The charges were fabricated as part of the COINTELPRO counterinsurgency program, but he was sentenced to up to 41 years in prison. While in prison he became a jailhouse lawyer, helping his fellow prisoners, and educated others, such as Lorenzo Kom'boa Ervin, about libertarian socialism. After an international campaign for his release, Sostre left prison in February 1976. Let's goooo! 7 for Seonag... And 41 for Satenik. Gallows and I aren't trying to set Satenik up on a date or anything nope. :D

Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?

Seonag did have a friend group, but the connection was always rather shallow. Like, they'd hang out with each other every day, but had no idea what was going on in each other's inner lives. They were also the kinds of friends who would playfully insult each other as a way of showing affection. A few of these friends eventually became Seonag's bandmates, but the friendships didn't survive after the band fell apart.

What’s their sexuality? What do they find attractive? Physically and mentally? What do they like/need in a relationship?

And Satenik (even if she doesn't know all of the terms) is an ace lesbian. Probably more demi on the ace spectrum. Once she gets past the trauma and religious upbringing, she may reach a point where her opinion on sex becomes "it's neat i guess!" rather than "eh" or "i'd rather not."

Satenik is very attracted to femininity. All of the women who made her question things about herself have been very feminine in appearance. However, I still think she'd be attracted to butches. If you look at the men Satenik felt attracted to (James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause, Jailhouse Rock-era Elvis, early Beatles), they could all pass as butch lesbians to an extent.

Personality-wise, she finds herself attracted to people who seem to understand the world and where they're going in life. She's very attracted to people who (claim to) have their shit together. That's partially why she felt drawn to Melik.
