This one is a long one i am SORRY

This is set not too long after when Pooks and Ji-ae first met. After their first encounter, she would come by the honey shop often to buy lavender oil for her roommate who used it to help her sleep. Each time she came back, she’d stay longer than the last time, because her and Pooks would talk until one of them would painfully have to leave to get back to work or class. One thursday she strolls in and stops where she sees Pooks stacking boxes of honey behind the counter and shyly waves.

Ji: Hi YoonWoo,

Pooks: Hey Ji-ae, how you doing?

Ji: Good, good. My roommate finally told me to stop buying her lavender oil, because she has enough to open her own store now 😂

Pooks: Oh so you admit that you were just using that as an excuse to come and see me? 😏

Ji: I- no! You’re the one who would always tell me to come back! Anyways, are you coming to the homecoming game tomorrow? Football isn’t really my favorite, but i always go for the hot chocolate at the concession stand, plus my friends practically drag me along too 🤭

Pooks: Ah, sadly no. The school we’re playing against is known to trash the town for their homecoming rituals and i told the grandmas that id stay here to protect the store in case they tried anything,

Ji: Aw, that’s really sweet of you Yoonwoo.. they’re lucky to have you.

Pooks and Jiae smile at each other like 2 lovesick puppies before they say goodbye and break away. The next night, the store is empty and ready to close in the next hour. Pooks looks up when he hears the bell from the front door signaling that he has a guest. Ji-ae walks in with a cup of hot chocolate in both hands and her arms filled with snacks.

Pooks: Ji? What are you doing here?

Ji: We we’re losing the game last time i checked and i couldn’t help think about you being here by yourself with no hot chocolate, so i brought you some, it’s probably cold by now but it’s still good i promise! Oh! I brought snacks too.. i figured we could just hang out until you lock up?

Pooks stares at her for a second and swear his heart skipped a couple of beats, he’s also just realizing how red her nose gets in the cold, and how adorable it is.

Pooks: That’s really nice of you Ji, thank you ☺️ Here, come sit behind the counter with me, i have an extra chair,

Once they get settled behind the counter, Pooks takes his jacket from off of his chair and drapes it over her shoulders.

Ji: Oh, you don’t have to-

Pooks: Your nose is as red as rudolph, im not gonna let you freeze anymore, plus we don’t get our new heater until monday 😂

As time flies by, the two of them can’t seem to stop talking to each other. Making each other laugh, stealing glances at each other, and getting into heated debates on which snacks are better.

Pooks: You know what’s funny? My dad told me that my mom brought their first date to him too, because he was so busy working. She had food and everything because she was determined to spend time with him.

Ji: Wait… you think this is a date??

Pooks: I- I mean- 😳

Ji: Good, because it totally is a date-

That’s all Pooks needs to hear before he leans in for a kiss that she happily agrees to 🥰

I love this 🥹not Ji-ae being determined to spend time with Pooks 🥰and after that date, they’d be inseparable 😭

Your (very early) Monday Motivation is coming from the road to Paris! 🇫🇷❤️

I’m taking a day trip (yes… just a day) to the city of love (says the single one) to eat all the croissants in the world and to catch myself a Pierre.

So, this trip obviously means that I have to bring you some French motivation: “Le bonheur n’est pas quelque chose de prêt à l’emploi. Il vient de vos propres actions.” Which apparently translates to happiness is not something that comes out of a box (ready to use). It comes from your own actions. Who knows… maybe it doesn’t mean that, but hey it sounds pretty darn good!

I hope this week blesses you as well as you deserve to be blessed. You’re a diamond, don’t let any grain of sand tell you other wise 🧡✨

AHHHHH!! Im sorry this is late. I hope you had fun in Paris, ate all the croissants and found yourself a love Pierre!

brothers are a whole other thing LMAO they’re crazy. they will literally call you the stupidest person they’ve met in their life but then buy u ur favorite ice cream at 2AM.

i always tell my sister that i’m so grateful i had her to help me grow up and that i get so sad when i realize she never had an older sister. her response is always that she never thought of it like that but she thinks she was made to be an older sister. i swear you guys are built different, not everyone can handle being an older sister and i have SO much appreciation for u all !!!

i promise you that your mom is 100% right. she probably ADORES you but just doesn’t wanna admit it bc youngest sibling pride yk ?😭 i refuse to believe otherwise bc i sincerely feel like you’re PERFECT sister material. dependent, funny, mature, so sooo kind.

I DID SLEEP HAHA i’ve been feeling off these past few days and i woke up SICK today🙁 it’s not too bad just a sore throat and a runny nose but i do hope it goes away soon because i have a friend’s engagement party to attend on the weekend (but im literally drinking a cold diet dr. pepper rn so i have no clue how i expect to feel better lol)

My sister and I sound WAY less mushy than you and your sister (no shade, just different relationships obviously) but that's so sweet! I can totally see where she's coming from I don't think I could be a younger sister. The vibe would be so off and you'd be able to tell I was not meant to be a younger sister hahahahahaha YOU'RE SO SWEET 😭😭 my sister calls me every day (even when I don't want her to because I have been girl-rotting all week on my vacation and have nothing to report) so I get annoyed with her pretty easily but I do enjoy talking to her. I wish she would put a little more effort into idk taking care of our parents? I don't live at home anymore so I feel like I'm still doing all the grunt kind of work that she could just do because she's AT HOME? but idk. she's a Drama Queen™ or maybe I am and I'm just being bossy 😂

I am putting the final touches on Ding part 3 so it's ready to go for Monday hehehehe I'm really excited about it! I think it will be my favorite part honestly. At least right now. I have it outlined for 7 parts right now! (I think i told someone 8 at one point but I did it in roman numerals and I'm dumb and can't read). But 7 is what I have right now. However it could change because I think parts 4 and 5 could end up being one part. I'm really not sure. Part of my outline for part 5 literally says "filler episode" so it's meant to be a next to nothing update.

UGH! I'm not sure where you're from but I live in New England and it's starting to be spring around here and I usually get a allergy-attack-turned-cold around now and I'm dreading it because it's SO unfair to be sick during the warmer weather. Maybe mix in some water with your Dr. Pepper hahahah Also! I truly believe cranberry juice has medicinal values. OOH I haven't listened to too much Zayn, tragic on my own part. I've heard clips of his new song Alienated though and I'm loving it! I've never heard of Tejano Blue, I will give that a listen as well!

I just made my Spring 2024 playlist--it's a lot of old stuff I've listened to in the past (don't listen to the Stuck on the Floor song I have at the bottom--it's for sad-girl hours hahahaha)

hi em, i saw you were having a rough week on twitter! i hope all is well.

this week has not been real i swear. thankfully i have a good sense of humor.

Monday the car broke down ON THE HIGHWAY. i was scared it was something big (which it was, it was the water pump but it was covered by warranty). got a nice rental for the week but needed my car back for today bc it needed new tires and i had an appointment. well i get it back take it out to get tires and while I'm waiting they tell me there's been a "mishap". SOMEONE CRASHED INTO MY CAR AND DENTED IT IN SO NOW ITS SQUEAKY AND DENTED 😩. their insurance is going to pay to fix it so at least i don't have to. i was like ok that's that. it's ok. but WAIT. I got a bunch of stuff for christmas today. i go to pay and they decline the card 😭😭😭😭 the money was in there but it was frozen bc of "unusual activity" hdksdhjq like yall this week was insane. obviously everything worked out and im laughing about it now but omg! i hope yall have a better week than me 😭
