I’m starting my trans journey this year. And it’s just been so heart breaking seeing the vile bullying that SilverVale is going through.
I made the personal choice to not play the wizard game, but like her, the wizard series was a huge escape during poverty. The first five books were given to me by an old lady when I was living in a caravan park. As I grew up I waited with bated breath for every book or movie.
So I hold a lot of nostalgia with the series, and part of me still wants to play it just for the comfort.
I would have loved watch silvervale play it.
If you want to support trans people, donate to charity.
If you wanna boycott j k r, then go join the protests for theme park ticket sales. Her support and revenue comes from theme parks, Disney and Nintendo contracts.
The game gives her almost nothing other than her name trending.
If you think the correct response is to bully, dox and threaten people for playing the game, then unfollow me now. Because you don’t care about trans people. You care about bullying people, and using the moral high ground as defence of your actions.

another reason i don't like this "the movie is about queer love" idea that keeps getting proposed is that, if nile has her hook up with moose in the sequel (likely, i’m just not gonna say anything definitive about what might go down in the next movie!), i fear people who are invested in this queer story narrative will complain about netflix ~shoving a het ship down our throats, or whatever. they’ll either bitch about this, or use it as more reason to ignore nile (or both, often), and it’s just gonna be irritating

Hi, everyone!
This is a slight departure from Bo content, but I wanted to let you all know one of my favorite comics (and an influence on Bo's comedy) is Demetri Martin. Well, Comedy Central just uploaded his first half-hour special from 2004 on YouTube today—check it out!

Demetri is known for his one-liners, similar to Mitch Hedberg, but he also incorporates music, props, and drawings on a large sketch pad to create wholly original comedy shows.
Bo has referenced him many times as one of his favorites on AMAs, and he even brought up Demetri's harmonica holder during a livestream when he was a teen YT comic ("to meet you" is a poor transcription of "Demetri" though lol)!
This particular Comedy Central Presents episode ends with a mind forest setting where Demetri gets his jokes.
There is a dragon...
A centaur...
And even a fairy played by Eugene Mirman! (very what. Intro, right? I have to assume Bo knew about this special before 2013 lol)
Demetri was also my real introduction into comedic wordplay (the man loves palindromes... obviously a word nerd like myself would be enamored haha) and mixing sadness with comedy (the first show I saw him in was at the UCB Theater in NY in 2004, where he mainly talked about his divorce).
If you haven't seen his works, I urge you to watch this special and If I. Both are insanely creative, and I think any Bo fan would enjoy them! ✌🏼
