#I'm thinking about putting these snippets on ao3 but I'm unsure if it would be better as one work with multiple chapters or a series

The group confronts Kagha about her connection to the Shadow Druids. Sage is almost glad when the fighting starts; having to listen to Kagha defending her choices is grating on their nerves.
The fight ends predictably: with Kagha, the Shadow Druids and whoever else joined her side dead. Rath isn't happy and neither are most of the other druids. Sage doesn't particularly care at that point. The tieflings won't have to worry about getting kicked out before Sage and the others manage to take out the goblin threat anymore. The kids are somewhat safe for now.
When they leave the grove again, Wyll speaks up: "I have to say, I'm a tad surprised you didn't try talking her out of it. You've been surprisingly successful so far whenever you do."
Sage looks back at him, then past him at the gate receding in the distance. They shrug. "Even if I had convinced her, it probably wouldn't have changed the beliefs of the others there. And besides, she was trying to get a child killed. If we hadn't intervened that first time, Arabella would probably be dead. I don't forgive that. A better person might be glad if she changed her ways but I don't care."
They turn back, leaving the grove further behind them.
"I suppose you could be right," Wyll says, voice trailing off.
Sage shrugs again.
For everyone's sake, they hope Halsin will be alive and actually able to bring the druids back to their senses.
For some reason, Sage had always assumed druids were kinder people than most. The whole connection to nature thing and all that. Of course, that assumption had been quickly proven wrong. We don't allow drow in here this, foulbloods and outsiders and parasites that. They scoff. "Let's hope this Halsin is a better guy than most of the druids we've met so far."
On that point at least, they can all agree.

Hi, thank you!!
F: Share a snippet from one of your favourite dialogue scenes you've written and explain why you're proud of it.
There's been so long since I wrote something that I honestly don't remember any dialogue from my fics and I don't think I'm especially proud of anything.
Maybe the first proper conversation than Daryl has with my oc Dana from the fic "Feral", when he's trying to win her trust, I thought it was fun and cute:
He chewed on his thumbnail, wishing  he knew what to do. “You got a name?” He asked her, and there was no reply. “No? So…I’ve been thinking of you as a feral cat so…I’ll call you that, uh?” He half-joked, unsure of how she was going to react.
There was again that scoff but also a smirk, and the same words. “Screw you,” she rasped, and then she shrugged, looking down. “I like cats.”
Daryl thought those were as many words as she’d ever told him and he couldn’t help his small smile. “Cats are okay…I like dogs.”
“Yeah?” The woman frowned at him…she was talking to him, she wasn’t hiding or attacking him…this had to be progress, but Daryl wasn’t sure of how to move forward from that.
“Yeah…why?”
“You look like you like cats.”
Daryl blinked at her, puzzled. “Why?” He asked but the woman just shrugged. “It ain’t that I dislike them…I like them, I just like dogs more.”
“’Cos you never had a cat, then.”
Daryl couldn’t believe that they were really talking…he hoped he wouldn’t screw it up. Maybe…never had a dog before either…you ain’t the first feral cat I feed, though…” Daryl smirked at the woman, turning into a full smile when she smirked back, still on alert but not as guarded and on edge as she had seemed once, at least she didn’t look like she was about to flee or stab him at any moment, even if she was still holding her knife.
Another one, maybe, it'd be from my fic "Bonded to you", in which Daryl left reader (his girlfriend) without a word and refused to talk to her when she went for him. Almost everyone hated Daryl in that fic, but after Daryl says to reader why he did it and opens up, some people forgave him and went back to loving him in the comment, so I'm happy for that. I must say, though, I believe this is totally ooc, and that Daryl would never say anything like this, not even think it (now I'm surer of this than ever, with how Daryl is now in the show) but I just tried my best to put into words how I, wrong or not, thought that Daryl was feeling then.
“I knew I’d hurt you, leaving.” Daryl admitted and you tear up again. “I knew you wouldn’t want me to, and I knew…I knew that if I saw you, that if I talked to you, it would be harder to leave…I wasn’t even sure I’d be able to leave, if I saw you first. But I had to leave, I needed to… and so I tried disappearing from your life so I didn’t have to face you, and I know I was a coward and an asshole… but you came looking for me, and when I saw you there that day, and I saw you hurting, it was almost enough to make me come back, but I just…I couldn’t, I had to leave after what I did to Rick, had to find him for Michonne… So I left the way I did, treated you the way I did. I just…couldn’t let myself look at you there, talk to you, or I feared I wouldn’t be able to leave and do what I had to…and I hurt you, and what I did to you was wrong, and I regretted it every day…I’m sorry. You gotta know I’m sorry.”
N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?
YES! Because I can barely write anymore and it bothers me a lot to have unfinished fics, so if someone could finish for me my fic "Vows" (I just need a final chapter but I'm too stupid to be able to think of a plan t get reader out of the Sanctuary! Duh!! Help...) and for my fic "Outsider", it's almost finished but it hurts to write.
Als there're a bunch of Daryl fics in my likes in Ao3 that haven't been updated since 2018 or so, it'd be nice to see a conclusion to those!
