the idea that my face has been so loved a million times before like haunts me, the idea of one of my ancient ancestors seeing another’s blue eyes and knowing they would have children is just shocking.

So I had a thought earlier, what if the Licorice Sea has a mermaid that’s basically the sovereign of the sea, sort of like Black Pearl with the Duskgloom Sea?

But perhaps instead of this mermaid snapping and going crazy like Black Pearl, they got corrupted by some force, turning them into a mindless beast, and in turn it affected the rest of the sea, making it the way it is now?

I don’t know, it was just a thought
