The year is 2010 for touhou fanworks. Canonical material for this year is only side games. Double Spoiler earlier in year and Fairy Wars in the late part of the year. Chapters of Wild and Horned Hermit also start here. Without the need to focus on many new characters, do the characters change much in fanon?

Alice's dolls (especially Shanghai) are now commonly depicted to have some kind of conscious now.

This is the first year I didn't see a wild Mima appear.

Sakuya no longer loses control around Remilia, instead she subtly bullies Remilia to break her charisma. Easily the funniest depiction of Sakuya so far.

Last year there was a lot of Keine x Mokou, but now Mokou has gone back to Kaguya.

Ichirin's hair is inconsistent, a common joke is that no one recognizes her in different clothes.

Momiji gets harassed by Aya a lot. Train and fight Momiji!

Utsuho is getting more stupid and not just forgetful.

Kogasa is really nice to other characters surprisingly, y'know despite being treated as a joke all the time.

Yeah that's it. I didn't notice much of anything different happening in 2010. Sure, some works have wildly different interpretations of characters, but it's usually just that one author.

Well not every year will be eventful fanon-wise, and it's still great reading through all of these wonderful works!
