I was never that girl guys picked. If it was me and a group of friends, or even just one other friend, they were always the pretty or cute one, they were the ones who always got the guys attention. It’s been that way my whole life. I’ve had to meet people online if I had any hope, and 98% of the time I get ghosted anyways.

But last week at work, a man and his son who just live a road behind the farm and are friends with my bosses dad come help us gut stalls but last week it was just the son. And I find him hella attractive 😩🙏🏼 and when I came in late to work, he was on the skiddy hauling a dab pen and im like haha, I seen that, like I see what’s in your hand, I know what that is, and he was like, oh shit don’t tell the boss and im like don’t worry your secret is safe with me. and then we chatted about the zaza and random other things while we worked, lowkey definitely some flirting, and he offered to stay late and help get things done even though i told him it was okay if he had to go, and then WHEN HE WAS LEAVING. He’s like, “we should hang out and smoke one sometime” and I WAS SHOOK. So I shoot my shot and sure as shit, yah girl got his NUMBA.

And then Sunday I got asked to work which was no biggy, but I had to change the attachment on the skiddy and I couldn’t get the handles up and the attachment wouldn’t come off and my boss was busy with the show she was hosting so I panicked and texted this man like HELP, and then shortly after my boss came by and he hadn’t responded so I texted him nvm we got it and continued working. Idk like an hour later, I turn the corner to go outside and BOOM there’s this MAN and I’m like Jesus wtf are you doing here and he’s all like, sorry I didn’t have my phone on me and I just happened to be in my truck and figured you’d probably figured it out but that id come check anyways, AND I JUST WANTED TO FOLD RIGHT THEN AND THERE. and he even asked if I needed any help with chores but I was almost done.

We texted a few times since Sunday, I once again shoot my shot and asked if he wanted to hang and smoke one tomorrow after chores and his first response was sure that if he didn’t have anything else going on and that wasn’t too enthusiastic to me so I was just kinda like okay well let me know when you want to if you want to AND THEN he said he had to help a buddy with cattle barns this week so he just wasn’t sure Friday would work well but that essentially we’d figure it out, and I’m like OHHHH OKAY SO MAYBE?

idk im just scared im reading too much into it, or being too hopeful. Im trying not to be overexcited or overbearing. the girls at work tease me because i talk about it, but it’s literally just because im SO SHOOK because THIS DOESNT HAPPEN TO ME. When im at work, which is a horse farm, im at my utmost hobo mode, no fucks or effort given, and this GORGEOUS FULL DUTCH BLUE EYED BLONDE HAIR man wants to hang out…..but also the one girl at work telling me yesterday that he asked where I was when I was late on Friday and I was like wait REALLY?

So we’ll see what happens tomorrow when he comes to help gut stalls 😇

the past few days have been a bit Too Much and i’m not even done with the frenzy yet because tomorrow and on Saturday i’m attending two concerts i waited so patiently for since June last year
