it could be years, decades, and her feelings for shauna would never change. it doesn't matter how much happens in between, it doesn't matter how much life moves on for both of them, tai knows she always has a certain level of security within her friendship with shauna, and there have been so many times over the years they've been apart that she wished she could turn to that, but as easy as it is to fall into place with her, it's harder to actually allow herself to seek her out, like it's some kind of confession she doesn't want to hear from herself: i'm not okay, i need you.
