OK, fair warning to the few people I actually managed to convince to try the game??
Rain world does NOT play like hollow knight, and you'll get your butt kicked if you approach it like that.
It's really hard. Like, really hard. Instead of the game literally giving you abilities in the form of power-ups and damage buffs, the only abilities you gain is from what you learn and your own ingenuity. You're a rat from beginning to end. If you just beef your way through it, it's gonna suck and you're gonna be confused and frustrated all the time. But if you pay attention, take it slow, and learn how the ai works and how everything interacts with each other, you can consistently get through and dominate situations you thought were impossible to do so when you first began. Now get out there, kill some lizards, and bully some old computers!

Like there are so many things you can do#So many ways to murder ✨✨✨✨#Some of the best moments are times where you pull a 360 noscope on a cyan and send it tumbling through the air into the void#And doing your first slide-throw into a lizards underbelly#So risky but so rewarding#AND THIS IS ALL JUST THE BASE GAME!#The dlc is literally a mod that got so big the devs saw it and helped fund it#It adds so much to the game. Literally the mod devs asked themselves what crazy thing a slugcat could do#Coded it#And was like uhhh how does this fit into the lore#So that's how we got boomcat and Jesus Cat#I literally talked to one of the devs by chance (they're pretty active. You can just ask them stuff) and they admitted as such#It's great! gameplay first at its peak!#Anyways give the game a shot. If you want to Get Gud at a game rainworld is for you. like genuine question... can you not just imagine that?
like within your mind's eye?
In terms of aphantasia I can understand, but aphantasia effects external material too, like not being able to visualize fanfiction or ai writing either. As they completely lack a minds eye with any kind of literature.
So like, that aside - can you genuinely not imagine it yourself?
Is it that difficult? To just sit there and imagine it?
Why must you resort to a machine in order to do that?
They can say comforting words-
Okay, but can you imagine them saying comforting words without the assistance of an AI? Yes? So - What's the problem?
Why take advantage of systems you know infringe on and endanger many people and careers, when you can literally just sit there and do nothing and get the same experience
By imagining it.
Imagining things and daydreaming deliberately is not a bad thing or inferior to works feed to you. In fact, they can have even more of an impact as they are personalized to you.
If your imagination or creativity is not strong enough and you are aware of that - even more reason to actively try to strengthen it.
Imagination of nonexistent scenarios contribute directly to the ability of forethought and critical thinking. The more you go out of your way to imagine things, the more you'll see possibilities and solutions in real life you wouldn't have before.
The more you are able to visualize things without assistance, you become more able to practice compassion and empathy.
Because you don't need to be shown/live something directly to understand or put yourself in said situation.
Ones imagination is a very vital thing, not just to ones creativity - but to their wellbeing, critical thinking, and memory.
You are better off just imagining it, truly.
Instead of restoring to the convenient option of using technologies that you know can harm people IN THE NOW.
Like - yes, you wanna hear Hobie say 'I love you'. - Close your eyes and imagine it bro.
Free and you can do it anywhere. As far as we know we're the only mammals on Earth capable of this gift.
You don't need to use AI character voices that are actively putting voice actors out of their jobs.
You DON'T NEED character ai chat bots that write fanfic for you when writers are STILL STRIKING because large studios want to use the SAME technology you're using for the SAME purpose.
The more you interact with these bots and technology, the smarter and more advanced they become. They learn with every interaction. The more you use them, the more dangerous they become.
I work in the film industry. We're still lights out, and it's getting worse.
JUST IMAGINE IT.
This post may sound preachy, but just try it once. Turn off everything and go somewhere and find the perfect song and sit there and do nothing but imagine the character. Complete focus on your fantasy.

princess can i ask what a day in ur life looks like. like what keeps u so busy cause i just graduated uni and my days don’t look nearly as busy and crazy as yours!!! icl half the time i’m hold up in my room doing nothing lol
after you graduate there’s always gonna be a period of doing nothing and finding your feet!!!! i had that too!!!! please please please don’t compare yourself to other peoples life :( coming out of graduation and trying to find something to dedicate your time to is something everyone goes through and no one talks about it !!! you’ll find something to do eventually and life will pick up again !!
my day in my life is quite hard to nail down because it’s pretty chaotic, and it’ll never be the same thing every day. as a personal assistant i pretty much spend my day travelling to different places on the train or in ubers to pick things up for my boss. some days it’s literally one thing on my agenda and then other days im running around from morning to night time. on days where im less busy, because all my friends work in the city too i usually grab lunch or dinner or drinks with one of them. in my down time i make sure im looking after myself, get my hair or nails done or spend time writing on here. i go to pilates on wednesdays and recently i have started going to my friends gym that has a spa and sauna which also helps me feel like i have time for myself. i don’t do ballet as often as i used to but on every alternate weekend i help my friend teach lessons up at a studio (sort of like a teaching assistant/ dance assistant type thing?)

An interesting little fun thing with team 7 is that you assume that Sakura's gonna, like, woobify and simplify Sasuke by putting him on a pedastal,cause her goal is centered around him and shes a 12 y/o fangirl so like of course her understanding of him is skewed cause she doesnt see him as a person, just an object of affection, right? She's can't get Sasuke, can't imprint on and/or traumabond with him like Naruto and Kakashi do. They don't see him with rose tinted glasses, because they've lived through their own Horrors and empathize with Sasuke's experience.

Naruto's single-minded codependent ass won't get out of his own way long enough to see Sasuke for who he actually is, only able to empathize with the parts of his trauma Naruto relates to and not really capable of understanding him outside of the context of himself (because Sasuke is. His other half). And Kakashi is far too jaded to be fair to him!! #3D#I've never done anything at this level of detail before and just wanted to see if I could#and then gave up at the prospect of sculpting individual eyelashes lmao#but yeah it turns out this isn't even all that hard#I drew the structure of the iris in procreate beforehand to use as an alpha (basically like a stamp in clay)#and the rest was just painting and some very minor sculpting#it was fun!#I want to say maybe next time I'll do an actual sparkly anime eyeball#but from what I've seen anime style 3D art keeps the features very simple and flat#so I'd just literally be drawing it anyway and there's nothing exciting to me about that#anyway! get beheld 👁️
