I don't like it when characters lie about something for sooo long, especially when it's gonna cause conflict later. Its also soooo embarrassing when they finally get caught😭. The secondhand embarrassment 💀
Its the worst trope!

Not exactly based on my mom's back, but pretty much the same. Except instead of the ยัตน์โสฬสมงคล in the middle, it's Naga.
These tattoos are called Yant in Thailand, and they are believed to help you with a lot of things. Wealth, authority, love, danger, illness, etc. I have one on my back. And instead of the tattoo machine? They use bamboo or like, metal rod?
Just a little explanation.
The top one in the middle called gao yord helps with health, love by others, and will prevent you from suffering severe injuries.
The middle one called ยัตน์โสฬสมงคล(i don't know how to write it man, i don't even know how to read it in Thai correctly💀) considered the most powerful yant, literally help with everything.
The bottom one is Suea koo(twin tiger), which is power and authority.
On the left shoulder is yant 5 rows will makes everything goes in your favor. Also, protect you from all the bad omens, black magic, and curses. And helps with luck and charm.
On the right shoulder is ยันต์ฉัตรเพชร(yeah idk) helps with wealth. Everything you do, every job, every career, you will be wealthy.
Sorry for any grammar mistakes!

not to talk about like minds AGAIN BUT FUCK THIS really. the way this idea is actually so interesting and it could be SO MUCH MORE if it was a book/series instead of a movie.

Personally I'd rather see the entire Hollywood movie industry fall apart than the strike fail. Movies won't stop being made, they will just stop being sponsored by worker abuse, and if that means no more millions of dollars worth epics then so be it idc
EDIT: OK this is gaining way too much attention while being vague and hyperbolic and ranty so let's make one thing clear - I am NOT lauding projects which don't adhere to union requirements, this is about the fact that big studios pretend like they are the only ones who can give you entertainment and if they can't make projects, you'll be sad and bored forever, and also that the only worthwhile pieces of media are projects worth an ungodly amount of money. This is obviously a lie, since there have been studios that agreed to work under new union requirements, and that's what I mean by "movies won't stop being made" - there will always always always be projects, big and small, that won't ignore what unions have to say. And in a dreamlike hypothetical future where big Hollywood industry falls apart, other smaller and more manageable studios will rise to take their place, and they'll have a cautionary tale on what will happen to them if they try to push it again.

best part of the FNAF movie was that Josh Hutcherson was having the WORST time of his life. dude was stressed out the entire runtime. the only reason why he got the security job was because his job counselor just so happened to be the guy who murdered his little brother. Vanessa kept lore-dumping to him but he wasn't getting it because he was running on like 2 hours of sleep. his b-plot was his aunt trying to ruin his life. ghost children tried to murder him multiple times. he almost touched a springlock suit. the climax was him getting beat up by a guy in a fursuit. Golden Freddy manifested in his house. it was awesome 10/10.

We're not appreciating the Weird Barbie enough. It's said in the movie that she helps everyone who need help while they always see her as someone who's not as good as them. She was friends with all dismissed Barbies and Kens, was there to offer support and safe shelter for everyone who needed it in Kendom, without her nothing in the movie would've been alright. When Stereotypical Barbie calls her "ugly and unwanted" she still helps her.
She was representing a woman in women's world who was pushed aside by other women because she didn't fit in but still had more wisdom and kindness than everyone who thought they're better than her.

for anyone too young to know this: watching The Truman Show is a vastly different experience now, compared to how it was before youtube and social media influencers became normal
before it was like, "what a horrifying thing to do to a human being! to take away their autonomy and privacy, all for the sake of profits! to create fake scenarios for them to react to, just to retain viewership! to ruin their happiness just so some corporate entity could harvest money from their very humanity! how could anyone do something so evil?"
and now it's like, "ah, yeah. this is still deeply fucked up, but it's pretty much what every influencer has been doing to their kids for a decade now. probably bad that we've normalized this experience"
