headcanon bc i wanna share with someone: eddie changes pronouns to male and every lady/girl to boy when he sings (it comes naturally at this point, he's worked out how to make it work with the rhythm and what not) and steve blushes so hard because no one ever serenaded him? and eddie has such a beautiful voice, it just drives him crazy. best part is eddie sings along the radio the most romantic songs smiling sweetly at steve when they're driving with the kids and they don't pick up on it at all, while steve is in the front seat fucking shaking because he wants to kiss eddie so bad and dustin's just, are you okay steve? do you need to open the window? and eddie joins in with dotting on him like the fucker doesn't know what he's doing to his poor bf and steve bites him later (whether it's a punishment or reward is still undecided)

But YES to everything you said!!! I can see Eddie singing under his breath if he’s at family video or out with Steve, just loud enough for Steve to hear. He’ll play it off that it’s just any random song but it’s ALWAYS a love song. One that has become a favourite of Steve’s is ‘something’ by George Harrison. I mean!!!

They might just be sitting at a diner waiting for food and eddie will start to sing just to Steve, taking every opportunity to trail his hand over Steve’s skin when he’s passing him cutlery or asking for a sip of his drink because he finished his too early. Steve just melts.

All Steve can think about is getting out as fast as possible and getting to Eddie’s place as fast as possible so he can finally scratch the itch under his skin, to kiss this man and show him how much he loves him. Eddie knows all of this which is why he takes an even longer time to finish his food as Steve keeps kicking at him under the table as his leg bounces with restless energy. Finding out that Steve is a sucker for romance and all he has to do is sing to him is the best thing that has ever happened to Eddie munson.
