I started roleplaying via text with friends with Hikari (the early days), then moved to Facebook where I found mild popularity in ye olde Page days and dabbled in canon muses, which was terrible for me IMO, and it was where I saw the death of that roleplaying style and the shift to paragraph style and IMs. My friend @muse-menu actually convinced me to join Tumblr and helped me come up with my original URL: lightinmismatchedeyes. After some years there and after a long hiatus, I changed to this blog.

——— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT! ♡

FLUFF: I like fluff, but it gives me major brainrot if I ship our muses ;). It's a good respite for muses suffering all the time.

ANGST: Thanks to certain friendships, I freaking love angst. Nothing better than making muses suffer. It makes for a nice buildup to some nice fluff that's much more meaningful and develops character connections.

SMUT: I'm alright with smut. It doesn't bother me, but I feel most comfortable writing with people I've known for a really long time. So long as we've plotted it a bit, we should be good to go :)

PLOT / MEMES: I prefer plotting, but I have a really hard time approaching other muns :c it's just my own anxiousness with new people, but I'm always down to plot with everyone. I try to share memes, but normally I don't get many sent in (which is fine) and I feel if I share more than one it's annoying--

-sunshine and rain cloud, pastel and goth, arts and science, just... perfectly balanced... each others' complement...

-Enemys! To! Lovers!!! Forbidden Love!!! what is not to love about it?

-both are touch starved! Intimately speaking. There is just something about hugs and touch in general that feel different coming from a partner than from friends/family. So, when they finally get over the awkwardness and hold hands...

they never let go after that <3

-for both is hard to acept they have feelings for each other. "We're enemies! it just cant be" followed by the thought of "there must be something wrong with me" but in the end they both understand that what they feel is okay. More than okay, its good, its happiness! something this good cant be bad

(this has gotten too long so a little cut is needed)

-they usually meet at night and cuddle while watching the stars. Zach rambles about his day. About work, meetings, zachbots doing weird things, and Martin LOVES to listen.

-at first Zach wanted to be the big spoon but after some days of numb arms... he's good with being the little spoon

-Martin suddenly really likes going to the city and volunteers to go shopping for the crew. Im sure its normal to spend a couple of days unable to be contacted and coming back way happier.

-okay i mostly play with zartin in AUs but in canon, both sides (WK crew and villains) are... weird about the relationship; both fearing one will turn the other good/evil. Both teams would make "interventions" to help them "get back to their senses". At this time Martin and Zach are already confident in their relationship and just told everyone to fuck off jejeje

-Zach changes the perfume he uses cause Martin was allergic to it. Now he smells like flowers and Donita teases him for it.

-Speaking of Donita, she is the first one to support them. Yes i know she has an interest in Martin but it's obviously more aesthetically than anything. Kinda blackmails them too, making them model for her from time to time, but its done with love uwu

-Chris is a good brother, and even if its weird at first, he supports his brother and wants him to be happy! But it comes with a price... When they least expect it, Chris pulls out the baby pictures owo (hey, their parents arent there, someone had do to it)

-I have made so many scenarios where they declare to each other with this song (its in spanish but my gOD i love it) "Thats how you arrived Neither of us looked for it All my fears you killed Monotony is gone since the day Your eyes met with mine

Spinner headcanons

((There's a lot of text, but I hope you guys enjoy, also this list contains the OCS that are Spinner's family members))

I stumbled across head canon list that mentioned him being half Hispanic, and i 100% agree

Total himbo

Bilingual boiiiii!! (Well he knows english, but not fluently, but he knows the basics ) at home his family used a mix of Japanese and Spanish while talking

(it's a wholesome jumble of language)

HE!! HAS!!!TWO!! MOMS!!! (Lesbiems babyyyy)

His mama (Spin calls her ama) met his mom when she came to Japan to study abroad

Spinner is the youngest of seven (two older brothers and four older sisters)

(Let's be real, he totally has youngest sibling vibes)

Canonically spinner is the least lizard like in his family so,,,,,,

Lowkey jealous of his siblings because they looked cooler in his eys (most have tails, longer claws, sharper teeth, etc)

As a kid, Spinner idolized his siblings. But he was closest the eldest of the family, his brother, let's call him Romero

Despite Shuichi's rough voice, he actually sings really nice!

Knows how to play guitar (his brother taught him, it was one of the many things they bonded over)

I have always imagined Spinner being born with depression, but the bullying just made it so much worse.

SAD HEAD CANON ALERT (tw: mentions of self harm and bullying)

The Iguchi family is no stranger to slurs, beatings, and vandalism based on how they look. They had come up with systems to protect themselves (travel in groups of no less than three, be home at a certain time, do NOT start fights or taunt people, etc) and it worked, for a while.

The bullying wasn't as bad in his younger school yeats becauze be always could rely on at least of of his siblings to protect him. But as he go older and his siblings aged out of school system, it escalated.

Petty insults were changed into full on slurs, trips and shoves in the hallways became full on circle beatings, walks home from school became races to safety.

Teachers never did anything because deep down they agreed with what everyone else thought.

During this, his family was going through a tough spot financially, mentally, and emotionally.

And because he didn't want to stress his family out, Spinner never told anyone about how bad the bullying had gotten, or how his was doing emotionally and mentally.

However the bullying lead to Shuichi often cutting class, and eventually dropping out of school at the start of his third year

This caused a lot more stress fpr everyone and often was the source of a lot of fights between him and his family

Over time, Spinner grew numb to everything, good and bad. To combat the numbness, Spinner took to self harm.

It lasted for about three years (started at 13, ended at 16)

Life at and away from home was getting too much for Spinner to handle, so he left.

At age 17, Spinner ran away.

He worked odd jobs and kept a pretty low profile for three years.

Then he saw HIM. Hero Killer Stain. He had found his new calling, something worth living for.

A couple months into his "vigilante" career, he met Grian and was soon added to the vanguard action squad, which was soon upgraded to the league of villian.

END OF THE SAD

Was probably in some for of gymnastic program in his younger years (I'm saying this because the thought of Spinner being able to do the splits has been in my mind for a while)

Because of his quirk he does experience shedding, but it only happens once a month

Much like Tsuyu Asui, the cold is to make Spinner's movements slower, and if cold enough, his body will slowly start shutting down (owo angst material)

He can also lick his eyes, but because his body naturaly keeps his eyes moist he doesn't need to. It's just a cool party trick really

He!!!!makes!!!gecko!!!noises!!!!!! Squeaks, barks, cheeps! You name it, he does it

Often makes them when really happy, startled, real angry, and sometimes when sleeping

He has a passion for parkour! (his quirk makes it fairly easy to do) Especially when it comes to jumping from rooftop to rooftop (listen, I know it's not ,entioned in any of the source material but just let me have this)

You can BET that Shu has an early morning exercise routine (how else is he gonna keep up that form)

Speaking of form, he's THICC. His arms are thicc, his thighs are s t r o n k, and let's not forget that fine booty

I don't care what the others say!! HE CAN COOK!! (Not anything too complicated, but he can get by)

Dabi likes to give him nicknames (like spin cycle or figit spinner)

He's gay. Or at least bi (come on we've all seen the way he is around Shigaraki you know he's not straight)

Him and Shig bond over videos games and like to see who can speed run Dark Souls the fastest (the current winner is Spinner but only by 20 minutes)

He is a fan of anything car related. Has probably watched all the fast and furious movies at least twice

Likes collecting knives

Him and Toga will kill for dark chocolate

Compulsively polishes his swords when stressed

Sees Magne as an older sister or aunt

He may not know how to drive well, but he is pretty knowledgeable about fixing vehicles

All in all, Spinner is very underrated and I would die for him

I might write more about the Spinner and his siblings they're ocs but let me thrive blease (maybe make art???) But for now, I'll leave you with this list.
