Hey, remember the soulmate au by tiyoin(?) I recently read your post abt idia and Leona reacting to yuu being their mates, but I wanna take it a step further since I saw idias line abt the family curse (this has yandere implications so if it's not your cup of tea please feel free to just ignore, nothing is outright mentioned tho)
What if yuu has a family curse similar to the aishi family in yandere simulator? (It's been years since I touched the game so if the lore changed I'm basing it off of 2018 ish lore, just with my own twist) basically yes, yuu CAN feel emotions, they're just muted and barely there. Given the right conditions (like falling in love or spending time with friends) and/or antidepressants they'll basically be like any other person, without them it's like a less severe version of the aishi women pre-falling in love
So, afab ppl born in yuus family, once falling in love, start losing their sanities and adopt yandere like behavior (stalking, increasing rage and jealousy, willingness to murder, etc) unfortunately this means they usually die young (20s or 30s) how quickly/young they die is based on their willpower (resisting the urges) and when/if they fall in love (so someone falling in love for the first time in their 40s and having insane willpower, caving in 20 years later in their 60s has more luck than a 16 year old falling in love and caving in almost immediately). Unfortunately everyone is a carrier, men carry the gene and can pass it to their daughters, but it only presents in the women/afab ppl, so transfems won't be affected but transmascs will.
What if yuu fell in love already (in their own world) and has just been doing a really REALLY good job at Resisting The Urges™️. Like, sometimes they slip up and cave in to anger or get ridiculously jealous, but they try their hardest to tamp down the feelings. Yuu has sworn off falling in love (again) and has given up their dream of having a big family bc of the curse, they're even distancing themselves from their object of affection in an attempt to "be normal again" at the cost of their own sanity.
So yuu gets transported to twst, and without their darling, they have the chance to be normal again, assuming they can get past the initial panic frenzy. Then the soul bond is revealed and they just go "nope. Not this shit again" and spouts cryptic messages about a family curse and swearing off love. I'm pretty sure most of the boys would feel a bit hurt by that lmao
This is mostly made for idia since his segment is what sparked the idea in the first place, but which characters from most to least likely do you think would try to pursue mc and figure out the truth to leave them alone and try to move on? I personally can't see someone like kalim giving up on both but I think the octatrio would try to look for the truth but be 50/50 on pursuing yuu or dropping them like a hot potato. Idia I think would try to relate to yuu and try to pursue them, but I think he'd probably be a bit put off once yuu starts dropping hints about the curse (he's a weeb so it won't take long for him and maybe Ortho to put 2+2 together and figure out the curse)
tiyon's soulmate au can be found here, their first post inspired some asks, which led to my own soulbound au the rules of which can be found here. Please support tiyon and interact with their soulmate au! They're a very creative blog and deserve the attention~ give them some reblogs!
so. uh. I got this ask when I first woke up and 1) very happy to hear from you Rose, always lovely to get a new ask and 2) yandere? sim? has lore? I did not think people actually played the game? help. i've fallen and misplaced my life alert. As a rule I don't really write for a Yuu who is just x character from y game/anime (it is in my rules) so while I was at work realizing I might be old I was trying to think of a way to do this that wasn't just yan sim (I wanted something properly gn) and I think I've got something? I am currently beating away the desire to info dump on you about the myth of Sigurd and Brunhilde (i could scream about that for hours oh god oh please i have written an actual au for that but efkjbekjrgbjrthnytrh) So here is the basic idea:
Yuu ran afoul of a witch in their world and was appropriately cursed. Given the myth I was inspired by I don't think Yuu did anything bad, but they still made the witch mad so they got cursed to lose all reason should they ever fall in love.
"You will be thine own destruction!" Cackles the witch and Yuu, who is actually normal unlike trey this person takes a deep breath and resigns themselves to researching a way to minimize the effects and maybe break it? They don't know they thought magic was fake until they thought they were just doing a favor for someone but turns out they pissed off Baba fucking Yaga.
They start to isolate themselves since they notice the curse starting to eat at them when they are around anyone the love; they consider going back to the witch and asking for further clarification but they can't seem to find them anywhere so they take some deep breaths and do their best to just be normal.
When they end up in Twisted Wonderland, and start feeling... weird. And it only gets worse when Crowley speculates that they might have been brought to Twisted Wonderland because they posses a soulbond.
And Yuu immediately freaks out because they don't want to kill anyone.
Now as for your question for who would try to pursue Yuu vs just leave them... well I don't really like writing un reciprocated feelings so I hesitate to say any of the cast would drop Yuu. In my au it isn't possible for soulbonds to not be reciprocated, and they are already sort of seen as a curse by mages so this... complication might not be normal but it isn't unexpected if that makes sense. Which would probably make Yuu swearing off love hurt even worse.
Kalim wouldn't want to abandon Yuu. Not ever, no matter how much of a danger they could be to him. Hell, he's willing to forgive people who are trying to poison him on the off chance they might regret it. But he is the heir of House Al-Asim, and I could see his dad paying someone to take Yuu out to keep his son safe. Something Jamil sees coming from a mile away and has to just keep quiet about. Something I can see Jamil feeling bad about, he might not like Kalim but you didn't ask for anything that happened to you. And yet the Asim's took your life from you anyway.
Have to disagree about the octatrio just a bit. Floyd would be into this. And so would Jade. But especially Floyd, oh hee hee ha ha his soul mate wants to kill him? Say less he is on his way to get his ass eat beat with an engagement ring in hand. Both he and Jade would be a little disappointed when the curse is broken and you aren't actively trying to kill him anymore... maybe you could try and poison him huh? Like old times?
I wrote 20 paper pages of soulbond au stuff for Azul so I will try to be brief here but... I don't think this situation would be one that made him try to break the bond. He has... complicated feelings about soulbonds already. If anything I could see him thinking he deserves this.
Now Idia. He's complicated. Pre-overblot he has given up on the concept of breaking his own curse, and I could see him feeling the same way about yours. Ortho on the other hand... even before he gets his soul he wants to help. After the overblot I can see Idia pursuing Yuu determined to find the truth and save them. Not that he wouldn't interact with them before that, he's a bit nihilistic so I can see him just making a bunch of jokes about the situation or promising to let Yuu kill him "after this next round." Or just straight up asking them to when he has to hit pity in one of his gachas. It's just cringe enough that it snaps Yuu out of the curse fog for long enough for the two of them to be normal around each other. And by normal I mean incredibly awkward
Anyway that's all I've got. Thank you for the ask ♡

Another A/B/O AU...
... this time TFA!
Okay some rules this time are:
Alphas can mate with Betas to produce offspring-- with the exception of cross-factional pairs. And you will only ever produce the same frametype as the creators.
Betas and Betas can mate to produce offspring-- but again, they have to both be civilians or both be warframes. They will only produce offspring of the same frametype.
It's very rare for Alpha pairings to reproduce. Same rules above apply concerning frametypes.
Omegas are rare in that anyone can reproduce with them, and thus their offspring can be any frametype. Contrary to a popular myth, the sparkling's frametype is random and not automatically based on whomever the sire/carrier is.
Generally the majority of Decepticons are Alphas, and the majority of Autobots are Betas. A Beta!Decepticon or Alpha!Autobot is not rare but still pretty uncommon.
Omegas have not been seen for generations, and it's believed they've been wiped out. The deaths of Omegas on both sides is partially what kicked up the war, as it now became much more difficult to procreate. Especially for Decepticons, being mostly Alphas.
All mechs regardless of secondary status go through a reproductive receptivity cycle-- the horny time we usually call "heat" or "rut". (But since I couldn't think of a 3rd word for a Betas cycle, we'll call it "RRC" or just "cycle" across the board lol)
Surprise, surprise! Optimus Prime is, in fact, an Omega. He doesn't know that, though...
See, Omegas have been out of the picture for so long, they don't really teach about them anymore in the Academy. Obviously some folks like Ultra Magnus and Ratchet are old enough to remember, as are many of the Decepticons. But generally speaking, Optimus believes he's just a Beta with an abnormally persistent cycle.
Optimus' status is only known to a few-- thanks to the standard examination all new recruits undergo, only some of the older medics and Ultra Magnus himself were aware. The Magnus took great care to not place Optimus on the front lines whenever possible, as he did not want to risk the Cause losing something so precious as an Autobot Omega.
However, at the same time he did not disclose Optimus' status to anyone else-- he knew it would likely result in his peers treating him differently, or worse, the Council might vote to sequester him to a breeding center. No, Optimus himself couldn't even be aware-- Ultra Magnus was worried he'd fall prey to the old stigmas which claimed Omegas were inherently weaker or incapable. Perhaps that was hypocritical of him, since he had been avoiding using Optimus in battles, despite the young Prime being one of the most skilled and capable Bots at the Academy...
Perhaps that's why when the incident on Archa-7 happened, he took the opportunity to all but banish Optimus from Cybertron. Repairing space bridges kept him out of the direct line of fire; nothing ever seemed to happen all the way out there. What's more, Ultra Magnus wouldn't have to continue fabricating reasons why one of the Academy's top students was not being placed in more active roles. Optimus would also be spared the scrutiny of re-evaluation, wherein his status would likely have been disclosed to the Council and everyone in the upper ranks... as well as Ultra Magnus' favoritism.
Yes, Ultra Magnus had thought he was in the clear. The young Prime still had a part to play in the Great Autobot Machine, but not until things had quieted significantly. One day, Optimus would have the chance at a normal civilian life while their planet rebuilds, and Ultra Magnus would have the medics disclose his status so he could decide his own future without the pressures of wartime. For now, all he needed to do was ship the Omega somewhere, far away from prying optics, with a medic who could be discreet and a parting reminder to not be a hero.
... A lot of good that did him.
Some additional notes of who-is-what:
Alphas include*: Megatron, Sentinel Prime, Lugnut, Strika, Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead, Starscream, Blitzwing, Drift
Betas include*: Shockwave, Blurr, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Jazz, Blackarachnia, Prowl, Jetfire and Jetstorm, Rodimus Prime
*but are not limited to

THANK YOU FOR ASKING! I have been dying to talk about it. @banyanas
Tumblr media
Sasha Waybright was traumatized before amphibia even happened, and here's why (coming from someone who is studying to be a psychologist and also has trauma):
Notes:
I am only going based off of things that are canon, and while I do have headcanons and suspicions on what exactly her trauma is, I don't have canon evidence to back it up, so I'm just going to go over the SYMPTOMS of trauma I see in her
Cognitively and behaviorally, Sasha is not normal. I feel like a lot of people see her blonde mean girl Californian cheerleader traits and just sort of assume she's your stereotypical mean girl. What they fail to remember is that Sasha is 13, and her motivations are different. Sasha is not a mean girl in the sense that she is mean to others for power or just to be mean. Sasha does use her social status occasionally (Ie threatening Margo w not inviting her to her pool party in the reunion flashback scene), however Sasha's mean acts do have a purpose. Sasha believes that she alone knows whats best, and to help those that she loves, she needs to take full control. She feels like Anne can ONLY have a good birthday if they skip school. She believes that they can ONLY go home if they execute Hop Pop. She believes that they can ONLY be happy if Sasha has control of amphibia and the box. She feels like the only way to take care of people and herself, is to be in complete control, and that is extremely common in victims of trauma who feel like they can't trust or rely on anyone.
Her manipulation skills are also developmentally abnormal. A well adjusted 13 year old with no adverse life experiences would not have such an extensive history of manipulating. In Jail break, Sasha says that a tactic she uses all the time is to "Make everyone love you, and they'll do whatever you say." Sasha has the ability to talk her way out of almost any negative situation and easily take charge. This is also really common in people with trauma and an unstable life. Often times, someone might have to talk their way out of being harmed, or to have their needs met that weren't otherwise.
Sasha has a complicated relationship with the concept of family. She has not mentioned her parents even once throughout the show, whereas Anne and Marcy have. In the reunion flashback, Sasha acts as if Anne going home to her parents is a bad thing. She remarks on how babyish Anne's party is, and she doesn't seem to understand that it's not even the party Anne wants, but to spend time with her family. In True Colors, Sasha says in a cutting tone "Say hi to your parents for me" as she thinks that she's sending Anne back to earth forever. Her tone implies irritation that Anne even has parents she wants to go home to, and perhaps even jealousy.
Sasha was fully prepared to live in and rule amphibia once she took over Newtopia in true colors. She did not want to go home after not seeing earth or her family in 5 months.
When Marcy confesses, Sasha's first thought is anger at the betrayal, not missing her home.
Back on the topic of what's developmentally normal, I found the scene of when Sasha first met Anne and Marcy interesting, although I could be reaching. Once baby Sasha aggressively gets the bullies off the the swings, she starts to walk away. She is surprised when Anne and Marcy introduce themselves and ask if she wants to play with them. At 5 years old, Sasha had the idea that she was only useful and wanted when she was doing something for other people. At 5 years old, a person without adverse experiences would not have this mindset.
The Marcy journal filled in some of the gaps about her parents. It confirmed the theory we all had since froggy little Christmas that Sasha's parents are divorced, and had been divorced since she was "4 or 5". Her father remarried and her mother has a long term boyfriend with kids of his own. In this entry, Anne says that she didn't know a ton about Sasha's home life and Sasha has always been very private about it. She says that Sasha always felt "lost at sea when it comes to family" and speculated that maybe that's why Sasha always kept her and Marcy under her thumb. This entry really hit gold in terms of understanding Sasha because it's when a bunch of possibilities clicked into place when I first read it. Sasha, Anne, and Marcy, despite having issues, were very close. The fact that Sasha didn't share anything about her homelife in the 8 years they were friends, is a HUGE red flag. Divorce is not inherently trauma, however if it's handled poorly, then it can be very bad and traumatic. Even if you take away the possibility of Sasha being directly abused, it's still really difficult to watch her parents fight before and during the divorce process. The state of California typically likes to give 50/50 custody, so it's difficult for her to go back and forth to her parents houses while watching them get into new relationships. She felt lost at sea and abandoned during all of it, and she felt like she couldn't even tell her best friends. In situations like this, especially so young, a person really can develop and strong and tough exterior, while also learning skills for manipulation and taking control when you feel you're in a situation that is out of your control. Sasha Waybright is 13 years old, and she was able to immediately become a Lieutenant to the toad army and then later a Commander of a resistance during a war. Sasha Waybright has numerous markers of someone who has gone through a life of uncertainty, abandonment, hurt, and neglect.

My dear lgbt+ kids,
Many years ago I watched a documentary about interabled couples (meaning that one partner is disabled, the other one isn't).
They interviewed multiple couples and asked how they met, what their friends and family think of the relationship, things like that. I don't remember most of it (I can't even tell you if it was an actual movie-length documentary or just a short piece in the local news) but there was one story that always stuck with me:
An autistic man had a crush on a woman he regularly saw at his doctor's office. So he decided to write her a letter. He wrote down a detailed description (if I recall correctly it was multiple pages long) of how their relationship could look like: date ideas that would be safe and enjoyable for him, situations in which he may require her support or help, possible communication struggles they may face and ideas on how to deal with them etc. The next time he saw her at the doctor's office, he handed her the letter. She read it, smiled and said "This says you can't go dancing with me because loud music overwhelms you. But I really love dancing. Could we dance at home if you are in control of the music volume?". He said "Yes" and she said "Okay, then let's do that"... and they have been a happy couple ever since.
I love that story. Honestly, I wish someone would come up to me and hand me a letter like that!
There are so many unspoken rules in the dating world that (neurotypical) people oftentimes just expect you to know and understand - especially the whole "be mysterious, play hard to get, don't scare people off by being too honest" stuff can be really confusing! His letter feels like an antidote to that. He clearly communicated his individual set of "rules" (boundaries, needs, wants). It may be my autism speaking, but this sounds like the ideal way to start a relationship for me: they were both on the same page from the get-go rather than having to guess what the other one wants.
As someone who has been rejected for being too honest and talking about boundaries too early, it feels comforting to me to know that someone did exactly that and was so successful with it.
I mentioned this old story to a friend a few days ago - and they didn't think it was cute. In fact, they were shocked and disgusted by it. That sounds incredibly toxic, they said. You can't just hand your partner a set of rules at the beginning of the relationship and demand they stick to them forever. Those things need to be an ongoing conversation that both partners get to contribute to. Love isn't a business contract that one person writes and the other just signs off on. Treating it like one is a red flag. And quite frankly, they'd feel super creeped out if a quasi-stranger wrote multiple pages about a relationship they didn't even agree to yet!
And you know what? I absolutely believe that my friend is right - and I also believe that I am right. It could be cute and it could be a red flag.
This goes for all kinds of relationships but it's especially important for those of us who have unique or less common "rules"/needs (which could be because you are neurodivergent, disabled or chronically ill but also be lgbt+-related, e.g because you are ace or aro): Doing things differently is not by default toxic - and not by default wholesome, either.
That letter could be a great starting point for healthy ongoing communication in a relationship... and it could also be toxic if it is used as a binding contract that doesn't allow any further conversation.
Apart from a few obvious exceptions, we can't really make a definite list of things that are always good or always toxic when it comes to dating/relationships - we need to think of things in context. And that goes for the "standard route" as well as for more unique approaches.
With all my love,
Your Tumblr Dad
(P.S: For the record, I'm sure that the couple in the documentary does have ongoing, healthy communication!)

-Letters and Wishes-
Prompts used: Baby Alan writing to santa and Scott receiving an emotional gift. (kinda... Heavy leaning on Alan and letters though)
I'm not much of a writer but I hope you enjoy this little drabble. It has taken many twists in development that I wasn't expecting and has turned into this. Warning, you may need some tissues.
Ps. I've also included a little festive stocking filler for you, at the end. ₍˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶₎
𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹
"Alan!! Get your ass up here!!" Scott yelled down the old loft stairs. What on earth was he doing?
"I will." A call came back. "I'm just writing my letter to Santa!!"
Well that explained it...
Scott rolled his eyes. "Aren't you a little old to be writing to Santa?" He huffed as he lifted a large box of baubles. "We kinda need your help with the decorations up here!!"
"Yeah in a minute!!"
Every damn year...
"You know how important that letter is to him." Virgil interjected "Let him finish it, I'm sure we can manage."
"Fine but you're picking up the slack for him." Before Virgil could protest, his brother had shoved the box of baubles into his arms. "Check those will ya, want to make sure none of them are broken."
"Well if they weren't broken before they definitely are now..." John shot from the other side of the loft, he'd assigned himself the task of fairy light maintenance and hadn't looked up from his work for ages. "Some of those decorations are are family heirlooms Scott, be a little more gentle will you?"
Scott turned on his heel dramatically "Can you blame me John??" He stomped over to the astronaut in question, the floor boards squeaking under his footfall took away any sense of seriousness there may have been. "We don't have much time to get all of these decorations up and since we're missing a pair of hands we..." Scott paused as he mentally counted his brothers " Wait where's Gordon?."
Just as if a sparkly Cuthulu had been summoned, a tinsel covered form raised it's head out of one of the larger boxes.
"Here, I'm trying to find the ends of this tinsel, it's damn near impossible." He wriggled about in the shimmery material causing the box to topple over, various decorations spilling out across the floor.
"Little help?"
John and Virgil came to his aid, pulling him up and untying him from his sparkly prison while Scott handled the scattered trinkets. As he was scooping the last few up, something caught his eye. An envelope, red with crudely scrawled writing on the front. He picked it up and read the address.
"To Mr S Claus, the North Pole."
"Wait Grandma actually kept those letters? Weren't they basically just our requests for toys?" Virgil asked removing the last bit of tinsel from his brother.
"Oh, this should be good." Gordon grinned "Open it, let's see if we can guess who's it is just by the list of toys they wanted!!"
Curious about it's contents, Scott proceeded to open the envelope, being careful not to damage it. He pulled out the letter inside, glitter and sequins spilling out and onto the floor. Another mess he'd have to clean up...
"Well that rules John out." Gordon giggled and John shot him a look.
"I thought glitter would be too distracting for him, remember I really wanted that telescope and I wanted to make sure that I got the message across clearly."
Scott shushed them and began to read the letter aloud.

Dear Santa
What I really want for Christmas is my daddy to come back. He was trying to save someone and he went missing but Virgil said that your magic doesn't work that way and you wouldn't be able to bring him back. Even if you really really really wanted to.
So instead I want to ask for this.
Please could you tell John come home for Christmas? He hasn't left Thunderbird 5 since dad disappeared.
Can you ask Virgie to play us some carols on the piano? I haven't heard him play in a very long time and grandma loves carols.
Can you make Gordon smile again? He used to play with me all the time and make me laugh but now he always says too tired to hang out with me. I think he might actually be upset.
Can Scotty have a break. He's been working all the time for ages and ages and he always seems angry or sad. He has so much nasty paperwork to do and when he's not doing that he's flying Thunderbird 1 and saving people.
This Christmas I want him to relax, it's not fair that he has to be so busy. Grandma says that he's going to work himself to the bone and he's already really boney. I don't want my brother to turn into a skeleton.
My daddy used to always used to help me write to you. I'm going to write you a letter every year for him, even when I'm 108 years old.
Love Alan Tracy.
𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹
At the lounge table, Alan gazed down at his masterpiece, it was perfect, best letter he'd ever written along with the best glitter glue art he'd ever made.
He sat for a moment, admiration turning into embarrassment, thinking about what Scott had said. He would be 16 next year, practically an adult, he was definitely way too old to be writing letters to Santa Claus, he stopped believing in the magical bearded gift wizard years ago. But he didn't want to stop.
He missed dad.
A gentle hand on his shoulder halted the spiralling thoughts. He turned to see his grandma's warm smile.
"Why the long face kid? Your letter is looking amazing this year." She said softly, gently pushing the discarded art supplies aside to get a good look at her grandson's creation.
"Grandma, I-". He paused, not being able to find the words. "Don't you think I'm too old for this? To be writing letters to a man I know doesn't exist?"
She knelt to his level and pulled him close rubbing his back soothingly.
"You can never be too old for something you enjoy, sweetheart."
"I just feel like dad would have wanted me to be more useful now that I'm older, ya know. We don't get a lot of time to have Christmas, I could be decorating or making lunch or helping prepare for the winter rescue rush..." He swallowed, tears begining to brim, trying not to let them spill. "want to honour dad, I want to remember him."
Grandma Tracy pulled away to meet the boy's gaze.
"Alan, writing those letters is honouring your dad. I know he valued hard work and did everything in his power to make Christmas happen every year but what he loved most of all was taking some time out to write your letters to Santa with you."
Alan remained silent.
"And if it's what you love too then it's what he would have wanted, to know that you're doing something you love whether it's useful-" she gestured some air quotations "or not."
She gently cupped her grandson's face in her hands and brushed away his tears. Big blue eyes gazed into hers.
"He'd be so proud of you Alan."
The old lady reached to plant a kiss on his forehead and Alan sniffled a watery smile before drying his eyes.
"Now then if you're finished with your letter, why don't you go see if your brothers need your help." She stood picking up the sparkly paper from the table and slipping it into an envelope, red just like all the ones that came before. "I can't wait to see what you make next year."
𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹*⊹.𖦹
Scott swallowed struggling to read the last few words aloud.
"Love Alan Tracy..."
The silence was deafening. The nostalgic guessing game long forgotten in the hopeful words of an eight year old boy.
Scott dried his eyes on the back of his sleeve. "I had no idea... I..."
"I don't think anyone did." Virgil added his arm snaking around his brother's frame.
Gordon and John were still sat on the floor the younger's face buried into the older's shoulder, both silent in mutual disbelief.
"After all that pain, all he was worried about was us..."
The sound of footsteps thudding up the loft stairs brought them back to the present as Alan appeared at the top step.
"Hey guys, I've finished my letter and-"
Four pairs of tearful eyes turned to meet him.
"Uhh... What's going on?" He gingerly stepped towards them. "You guys ok?"
As soon as he was within arm's reach, Scott grabbed his little brother into a tight hug, clinging on for dear life. It wasn't long before the others joined them in the embrace, circling around the smallest Tracy.
"I'm sorry." Scott mumbled into Alan's blonde locks.
"For what?" The boy struggled to talk under the weight of his siblings.
"Your letters, I should have known, they help you stay close to dad right?"
Alan could feel the tears welling up again, nodding sheepishly.
"He'd love that you're keeping up the tradition for him."Virgil said squeezing tighter. "And you'll never be too old for that."
They all stayed there for a moment, just feeling the closeness and love of one another.
And there were those words again, it was a bitter sweet comfort.
"He'd be so proud of you..."

Honeys. If liu kang really cared about his friend in this new game. He wouldn't have made raiden reggie the farmer champion.
Idc kung lao is not a reincarnation. He is a decedent given that name by a prideful and vain family who only wants it in for themselves. Holy shit.
This happens unfortunately in families. Unfortunately in asian families specifically but that aside. Kung lao doesn't seem to have a very good family if they are homophobic to kung jin,his nephew.
So yeah, kung lao disowning his family (besides jin, because he loves his nephew) makes sense. And he wants to bring honor to his ancestor not his immediate family
The great lao died in mortal kombat. However was shamed by his descendants family for perversion of his legacy and what he stood for. Plus he died by goros hands. All four of em. Tho this happens in a tournament,he didn't know anything about goro. So he wasn't prepared. So it was an unfair fight. So that added to it.
Sure the great lao didn't want to do this whole mortal kombat thing. Nobody does in mortal kombat, duh. That's been stated. I dont really see anyone besides shao kahn and shinnok really loving mortal kombat.
Quan chi is a hit or miss. He loves it but hates it because rules.
Shang tsung doesn't truly love it but he's fucking good at it. That's why he's tournament master.
But back to kung lao(jr)
So many people miss the point.
Mk11 and mk12/mk1 did such a disservice to the character. And if you disagree you're looking at kung lao thru tinted glasses. And not understanding the whole fucking picture.
There's nothing good about kung lao from those games.
Mk9 was great till they bodied people for shock value and not actual purpose.
Mk9 is also where they grossly exaggerated his "pride" . I feel some people not be playing the same games because i remember fucking mk9-mk11 waaaaay differently.
Sure living in lius shadow would piss anyone off. But liu kang not really stopping anyone is also a problem. If his character cares so much he'd defend his friend always. Not just when it's convenient.
It feels like "no no kung laos great. Anyways..." so passive aggressive. To me
So i dunno what y'all be watching or playing but kung lao hasn't been good for a long time storywise.
Gameplay wise he kicks ass just as much as he did back then. So that hasn't changed much.
Just storymode wise. They dunno what to do with him besides making his 2nd banana for no reason.
Liu kang is the one who didn't want to be champion or a god and stated this. But they made him it anyways. Kung lao was fucking ready. But nobody gives him a chance....why?.....because you put this false fake ass persona trope on him because you don't want him to be champion or something?! Why? Why do y'all hate lao that much?
Liu hasn't earned shit it was always handed to him by the narrative.
Kung lao has earned shit. Even when they wrote him shitty.
I love liu but lao i love more. Simply because his character is way more impactful.
I dunno man. People on here i feel just don't get it. And wont.
I've been a kung lao main for years. And he's been my boy since day one. I was 10-12 yrs old when i got into mortal kombat. Sitting in front of my tv playing mk shaolin monks and the demo for mk2 religiously. Do not speak of me how kung lao is. I was there.
He's my First videogame crush too.
So yeah i take dissing him very personally. My feels aside,It's unnecessary too narratively it makes no sense.
Kung lao deserves better. Been deserving better.
Like this is no diss to liu kang,i love him too. I just wish people weren't weird and gross about him. And nrs wasn't jackasses to him and sucked his boots that much.
Kung lao is ready. And it's about time y'all make him actually fucking champion, chosen, and loved properly.
AND GIVE HIM HIS OLD PERSONALITY BACK! that cool, quiet, chill, snarky, badass, demeanor. Serious when needed, funny and loving when also needed. Like damn man.
Look at mk shaolin monks for the proper kung lao. And look at the mk95 movie for the proper liu kang.
Only kung lao is related to the great kung lao. And he doesn't need to be a reincarnation to be special.
And liu kang doesn't need ties to be special either.
Sometimes people just happen to cross paths and "destinies" which is never set in stone.
Liu kang and kung Laos are friends. But y'all dunno how to write best friends without rivalry, romance, etc.
Friendly competition between friends is not the same as rivalry and fueds.
By all means kung lao and liu kang grew up together and obviously had brotherhood trained together, and in some cases even "died" together. So there shouldn't be any bad blood in any iteration.
Im just sick of kung lao being treated wrongly by fans and canon.

xisang time travel except the older ones have drifted apart you say 👀....... would you say more, please 💟
oh yeah sure! I think I had posted bits of that a while back, and I haven't really worked on it since, but here's what I got
"Gege, that means we're still together when we're old!" young Huaisang exclaimed.
That took Nie Huaisang out of his fit of crying to instead glare at the boys.
"Who's old? I'm only thirty five, you little brat!"
"That's older than shufu," Lan Huan carefully remarked, his tone and expression making it clear he believed that meant Nie Huaisang was little more than a living ancestor. "I'm glad," he added, turning to young Huaisang with a soft smile. "Everyone says two men never stay long together because they can't marry, but I knew we were different."
Nie Huaisang couldn't refrain a slight grimace at that comment, and dared a glance at Lan Xichen, still glacially silent. At the same time Lan Xichen also looked his way and their eyes met, which appeared to  startle the older man out of his shock.
"We are no longer a couple," Lan Xichen coldly informed the two teenagers. "Because he decided I wasn't worth trusting after all."
Young Huaisang whimpered and pressed himself closer against Lan Huan's side, clinging at his lover's robes like a frightened child. Lan Huan for his part appeared nearly unaffected by the news.
"I don't believe you," Lan Huan just told Lan Xichen. "We tell each other everything."
It had been true, Nie Huaisang remembered. He used to tell Lan Xichen even things for which Lan rules dictated he ought to have been punished. And Lan Xichen used to be just as open with him, freely sharing his thoughts and worries, until…
Until the Cloud Recesses burned, forcing Lan Xichen to run for his life. He'd been different after he'd returned. Suddenly, those weeks on the run had become the first thing they couldn't talk about. The first one, but not the last. They also couldn't talk about the war, not while it was ongoing and certainly not after. They couldn't talk about what had happened in Nightless City when Nie Mingjue had been captured by Wen Ruohan and saved by his two sworn brothers. They couldn't talk bout why Jin Guangyao often came to play music for Nie Mingjue.
It wasn't Nie Huaisang who had first started hiding secrets.
"Some day he will stop trusting you," Lan Xichen predicted, looking at the boys with a mix of pity and contempt. "You won't know for a very long time, but someday he'll say he loves you and no longer mean it."
"Even if it were true, that's rich coming from you!" Nie Huaisang exploded, a few new tears spilling on his cheeks. He turned to the boys, looking at his young self right in the eyes. "He's going to fall for someone else," he warned. "But he couldn't have that man, while you were right there, and he'd rather be with someone he had moved on from rather than to be alone."
"I did not love Jin Guangyao!" Lan Xichen retorted. "If you can't even believe me about that…"
"Isn't it worse then, if you loved me and still kept choosing him over me?"
"Every time I knew there was a choice to be made, I chose you! What more was I supposed to do? I killed him for you, Huaisang. How isn't that enough?"
Nie Huaisang stared at the man he loved, taken aback by that question. He still wasn't sure what more he might have wanted Lan Xichen to do, just that there ought to have been more.
"I don't think you're us after all," young Huaisang sniffled, staring at the two adults with open terror. "I would never want Xichen-gege to kill anyone! You're just monsters, you're not us!"
Lan Huan nodded, pale and just as worried as the boy he loved, while Lan Xichen startled at being called a monster, as if it were something he had thought as well.
For his part, Nie Huaisang merely thought that his young self wasn't wrong. They just weren't the same people. Life had changed them. Life, and the choices they'd made. He could barely remember being that boy in front of him, so sure of being loved by his brother and his lover. And young Huaisang just wasn't capable of imagining what horror laid in wait for him, how lonely he would get, how he would turn into a parody of himself until he would forget what was real and what was an act.
What a blessing it was that these two boys couldn't understand them. They truly were monsters, and they truly shouldn't have been twisted into these mangled mockeries of themselves.
Seeing the terror on those two young faces, Nie Huaisang felt an impulse he thought he was no longer capable of.
He felt the need to be kind.
"It wasn't always awful," he told the boys. "You will be there for each other when loss would have destroyed you. At least, I felt that way," he corrected, looking at Lan Huan. "I don't know what good I was to you, but I tried my best."

4-2 turnabout corner
alright finished this case and i guess i'm doing case review posts now. i'm playing this for the first time so no spoilers for future stuff please:
this was pretty fun! and for the most part the problem-solving remained coherent, so that was nice. i feel like i never got any answers about the hit and run though...? i kept expecting it to be more relevant in the end and it just never was. i guess we had no time for that because we had to talk about trucy's panties for the three billionth time
but it was the first case with trucy and first real chance to see apollo do anything, and they're pretty fun. i like unsettling baby genius trucy. even if she totally stole my glory in court because i personally had also figured this out, catch up apollo, stop thinking like a normal person
Tumblr media
apollo as the long-suffering straightman is more entertaining than i expected. the dynamic he has with the wrights is pretty funny, just like constantly ganged up on and bamboozled by their double act. poor apollo bawling after trucy fake kidnaps herself lmfao oh buddy
beanix cracks me up. it's so easy to wind apollo up and everyone does it with gusto. i think like 80% of what he says to apollo at any given time is a lie. it's a very funny dynamic to me lmao, "if anything i see you more as a BOTHER figure". i keep thinking of a text post i saw on here, i can't even remember if it was talking about AA specifically or just fandom in general, but talking about how fandom tends to ignore the existence of relationships besides "literal family" or "lovers", and ended with "normalize coworkers". anyway i think about "normalize coworkers" like every time apollo and phoenix interact.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the game is definitely inviting me to question his integrity at all times but the thing is i like phoenix more than anyone else in this game and it's not close, so...
i said it in other posts but adult ema rules!!! i love cranky sarcastic women. related to the point above, i really appreciate having her there as the other tie to the trilogy, and as someone who knew phoenix from before and is loyal to him. same girl same.
i also like klavier, he's fun. i'm curious to know what his deal is since it's not at all apparent why he's doing any of this to me, he doesn't seem to hold any grudge on kristoph's behalf. (what, he just likes law? a normal motivation? in my AA??? is that allowed)
on more negative notes:
i could really have done without an entire running gag for the entire case being about panties and panty snatching and especially a 15 year old telling me about her panties like every line of dialogue. i get that the "joke" is that it's meant to be weird and uncomfortable and apollo is uncomfortable. but like. christ lmao free me
the alcoholic phoenix jokes are not it for me, man! feels sleazy and uncomfortable and i know the game is never even going to like. treat it seriously. they can't even say the word wine. i can excuse weird cryptid phoenix who speaks in riddles and is generally kind of an asshole but i draw the line at "alcoholic single father". fuck off lmao.
in general, a lot of the stuff they're doing with phoenix here so far is, like, tolerable to me only inasmuch as i've been spoiled for it and i also can approach it as a sort of midpoint; i know most people don't like aa5+6, and my opinion may change a bit after i play them, but right now the idea of the series ending here, with washed out (alcoholic????) loser phoenix is so bleak and depressing, and falls into a lot of sequel media tropes i find tired. you often see franchises end their original run on a high note only to follow it up years later with a sequel that's like "but it was all for nought, everyone went their separate ways and Our Hero kind of sucks now". if i'd played this unspoiled in whatever year it was it came out i'd've been so pissed lmao

Don't turn into Zero (Episode 5.1 Doctor Who essay )
Tumblr media
The beginning of Season 5 immediately hit my heart with the theme of a crack in the universe on the wall of a child's bedroom.
Tumblr media
The theme of fear - not of monsters and specific dangers, but of something formless, indefinable in words - has been painfully familiar to me since childhood. The fear of extinction.
Tumblr media
When I was 6-8 years old, I couldn’t formulate this so clearly. But I remember this feeling of “a draft from the abyss” very well. I think this experience is familiar to many children who have been alone for a long time very often.
Tumblr media
And just as familiar is the fantasy of a good wizard, an extravagant friend who will burst into your world with special effects, displacing the icy chaos of the void with a stormy stream of life.Doctor Who became such a good wizard for Amelia
Tumblr media
And although he disappeared too, but before that he repaired the crack in her wall, replacing the horror of the void with the fear of the monster, Prisoner Zero, which was much more bearable for a child.Because children's fear of monsters is always ambivalent -- they both torment and protect. They protect against feelings of loneliness, uselessness, and the routine of suffering and death. Our fantasies endow the infinite emptiness with a finite form and thus make it more bearable for consciousness.
Tumblr media
Prisoner Zero continues this theme of the void - starting with his name, and ending with the fact that he survives by taking on someone else's form. It’s interesting that Amy herself seems to mirror the habits of Prisoner Zero. Her job is to pretend to be someone else
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"In the corner of your eye." Over time, many fears, traumas, shocks become something that is “in the corner of the eye.” It always looms somewhere on the periphery, because it has a great influence on our lives, it is always somewhere nearby. We just never look at it directly.
Tumblr media
This is how repression of traumatic experience usually works. Usually a person does not forget, in the full sense of the word. It’s just that their consciousness, with the virtuosity of a circus artist, learns to always look the other way.
The theme of disappearance takes on a planetary scale with the appearance of powerful aliens ready to wipe out the entire human race along with Prisoner Zero
Tumblr media
And then the Doctor says a phrase that can be very relevant in the psychotherapy of fears: “It’s good to leave. Never come back is better” It's good to repel an attack of anxiety. But as long as you play by the rules of fear, you will always wait for its return
Tumblr media
So calling out your demons when you feel confident is a really good idea. To feel like you’re not just a pawn who can only survive as long as you follow someone else’s rules. But a person capable of standing up for themselves, even in the face of bigger forces
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We all sometimes need our inner Doctor, who will tell our fears: "Basically, run!”

CAFE CUTIE - chapter 12
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a few days after the not-so-subtle tutoring promo, you're pulling up a house's driveway. a girl named hyein was the first one to contact you, saying she was in desperate need of help with her subjects.
being the kind person you are, you gave her a discount. shes still a child, the rules can bend a little bit. the house looked cozy, with a nice color contrast on the exterior.
you walked up the stairs, approaching the doorstep before pressing the doorbell button with your finger. you could hear two very faint voices since they were muffled by the walls of the house.
the last person you expected to see opened the door, jake sim, stood in the doorway looking like he had just seen a ghost. he looked way different than the typical 'neat' look he showed at school. his hair was disheveled, he had on grey sweatpants, and..his shirt was nowhere to be seen.
"sorry, you can come in just give me a moment." jake spoke before rushing over and up to what was probably the staircase, hopefully going to go put a shirt on.
the image of him shirtless, leaning over a little to close to you to close the front door will forever be burned in your mind. god, you knew he played soccer but never thought that he would've worked out outside of it.
you slipped off your shoes next to the door and were surprised to see a small figure in the distance running up to you, he was practically a mini version of jake running around, only about 4 or 5 years old.
"is ur name yn?" The kid asked, toy in hand while tilting his head to the side as if he was genuinely confused. he must've heard jake when he was at the door, but you don't remember jake mentioning your name.
"yes, it is...how did you know?" you asked, assuming it was okay to set down your bag in what is assumingly the living room. you sat down on the soft sofa, while 'mini jake' climbed onto the couch next to you.
"jaeyunnie told me there was this really pretty girl at school and he-smddnsk" his talking was interrupted by jake, who suddenly in the room and covered the little boy's mouth with his hand.
"im sorry if jun caused you any trouble, hyein will be " jake did a slight bow in order to send his sincerity, "hyein will be down in a moment." in the amount of time that jake disappeared into what was upstairs of the house, he had thrown on a white tank top, and some glasses.
you nodded, while jake turned to jun once again, "junnie, why don't we make some cookies for your sister yeah?" jake crouched down to his level and grabbed jun's hand. leading him into the kitchen.
you giggled a bit at the situation he was put in, silently scrolling on your phone, waiting for hyein to come down the stairs so you could start your tutoring session.
after a bit of waiting, she finally came down and you got to work. you helped her with some math problems and gave some advice on a previous essay she wrote. you both even joked around a bit, to lighten the mood.
even though your attention was supposed to be on hyein the entire time, you couldn't help but eavesdrop on jake and his little brothers' relationship. jake was gentle and patient with him, letting him have as much fun as possible. the two of them were never not smiling around each other.
"so, are you interested in jaeyun?" hyein suddenly speaks, keeping her voice down a bit. this startles you because you weren't aware of how long you were staring for.
"huh?? ah-no im just intrigued..."
"how so?" hyein questioned, taking her hands off of the laptop keyboard and putting her full attention on this conversation.
"it's like...he acts way different at school. he's more cocky, annoying, and loud. but here he's more quiet, reserved, and also caring" just
"huh...i mean we haven't been to the same school at the same time in a while so i wouldn't really know. in middle school he was pretty quiet at school, he got criticized for it a lot by his peers, so he started being louder and more social in high school i guess."
oh. you thought, not knowing how to respond to this sudden bomb of personal information dropped on you. "he wishes he could have had a better past, but i always tell him you can't change what already has happened, you just have to learn to live with it" hyein explained.
"i guess he's not the only one who wants to re-do their past, i honestly never thought i would relate to him" you answered, before being interrupted by another voice.
"ennie! wanna play with me, please? can we play?" jun's voice startled you both, while he jumped up in down in excitement. hyein glanced at you, while you assured it was okay for her to take a break since you both had been sitting for 2.5 hours. hyein began to say her last words before she got out of the chair.
"listen, jaeyun has good intentions...he looks up to you as a person and thinks you're a natural born leader, remember that"
"i see.."
"also, don't do anything outrageous in my kitchen...theres cameras"
"what-" this entire conversation was so...informative it felt like you had just revealed all of the hidden secrets of the world. still, in deep thought, you walked over to the kitchen counter, and sitting down on one of the stools.
"...are the cookies any good?" you asked, resting your head on your palm.
"you know they are! also, i heard you guys talking, hyein isnt very quiet," he confessed, while still trying to clean up the kitchen from him and jun's previous mees.
before you could say anything, he started to talk again, "it wasn't cool of her to just spill my past i was trying to erase like that. but, she was right...i do actually admire you, you're very social and outgoing. i actually look up to you a lot"
"i mean i can't take all the credit, I admire you too sometimes, like how you're very easy to talk to since you just carry the conversation, not a lot of people do that."
"you're also very caring...especially for your siblings, i mean, i do think of jungwon as a brother, but having a younger sibling would be nice."
jake moved from his spot around the counter to sit on one of the counter stools beside you. "i don't want jun to feel lonely or neglected while he's young, i have to take care of him. hyein too, she's getting older but she'll always be the annoying ten-year-old to me."
he laughed at the last bit of his sentence, while you joined him. it was weirdly comforting to genuinely laugh together. he wasn't being annoying or obnoxiously loud like he was at school. at home he's quiet and reserved, it feels weirdly domestic.
"just..do me a favor and don't tell anybody at school okay? not even yunjin, even though i know she wouldn't tell anybody." he pleads
"i wasn't planning to, but yeah. your secrets' safe with me," you assure, subconsciously putting your hand on top of his during the moment. you can tell his eyes are genuine, in the moment he asked you to stay quiet about it.
"anyways! let's go play with jun and hyein" he breaks the silence while hopping off of his chair.
"okay, jaeyunnie."

˚₊· ͟͟͞͞➳❥ THREES A CROWD — embry & paul
WARNINGS: none
A/N: sorry about not posting an update for this for a while, life has decided to rough me up for a bit, but I'm getting better now! the fact the words that are italics don't get copied over the same way when transferring things to tumblr is so fucking stupid, like?????
Tumblr media
eight ˖⋆࿐໋₊
Your eyes are glued to the windows, constantly scanning the tree line to catch another glimpse of those glowing red eyes. Whoever it was was too covered in shadow to make anything out, but you could tell they had a fair completion. Which wasn't saying much in a town like yours, but it did rule out enough people.
With shaking hands you pull out your phone, ignoring the teasing comments Embry left to send them a panicked warning of what you had seen.
[𝚝𝚘 𝙶𝚛𝚘𝚞𝚙]: I don't know if I'm going crazy or not, but I saw red eyes in the woods on my way home. I couldn't see a face, so I don't know if it's the red-headed leech or not.
You keep the phone clutched tight in your hand the entire trip home, anxiously waiting for a reply back from either of your boys. The phone stays silent past every stop, no messages coming through on your paranoia filled walk home. Every rustle off bushes has you jumping, heart hammering in your chest as you quicken your pace.
You're nearly home when you're neighbour calls out to you.
"Are you alright sweetheart?" Candice calls, putting her paintbrush into the bucket at her feet. The garage door had a fresh coat of white paint, though it's barely noticeable since the sun is shining from behind her house.
You turn to her slowly, relieved that you're not alone, even if its the neighbourhood gossip as your only option. Her long blond hair is pulled into a high ponytail, showing off her angular face and bright blue eyes. You debate if you should walk across the street to her house, but then you remember those red eyes and move up the driveway to be with someone familiar.
"I'm okay, just a rough day at school," You reply, getting a sympathetic smile in response.
"The work they give you kids these days," Candice shakes her head at the thought, and the action makes her look older than she really was, "My niece is always doing school work when I see her, never has time to play with her friends anymore."
"I didn't know you had a niece," You say, hands starting to sweat around the tight grip you have on your phone. You resists the urge to check it, since Candice seems to have an old soul, and you don't want to offend her.
"Yes, my older sister's kid. Probably in middle school by now. Its been a while since I've seen her," You nod along absently, itching to check your phone the longer Candice talks, "Are you sure you're okay? You don't look very well."
Candice reaches up to press the back of her hand against your forehead. Her fingers are ice cold against your skin, causing a shiver to rack through your body. The touch causes you to jerk back in surprise, nearly tripping over your feet just to get away. Candice doesn't say anything, just gives you a too calm smile as you regain your footing.
"You probably have lots of work to do," Candice starts, not letting you respond as she continues, "You should probably go sit down, you look like you're about to fall over any second. If you need anything, I'll be around, I still have to paint my front door, and I haven't even finished with the garage yet."
You can only bring yourself to nod, turning quickly on your heels and walking as fast as you can across the street and to your house. You're surprised you can get your phone into your pocket with how hard they shake, your now free hands digging into your bag for the house keys.
Thankfully, nobody's home to see how panicked you are as you all but fling the front door open. You have it closed and locked faster then you thought possible, hand stretching up and hovering over the deadbolt above your head.
All you can hear is your own loud breathing, her heart pounding so hard it hurt. After a second you reluctantly bring your hand down, knowing your family would be home soon and would have to get into the house at some point.
Your phone vibrates from your pants pocket, startling you back to reality. You pull the phone out and up to your face, stomach clenching when you read the message.
[𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝙳𝚊𝚍]: I forgot to tell you this morning before school, I'm taking the boys for their checkup in Seattle today, so we won't be back until later tonight, probably after your mother gets home. There's money on the counter for food if you want to order something.
With no response from your wolves and nobody home for what seems to be hours, you make your way upstairs to your room. Once your in the room with the door closed you call the nearest pizza place for some food, dropping your bag on the foot of your bed as it starts to ring.
You've pulled out most of your textbooks before someone picks up, ordering a big enough pizza for leftovers, dishing out some of your own cash to get yourself some dessert as well.
Once the order is through you turn your attention back to the work spread out on your bed. Sorting through all your upcoming assignments, you settle on your history work.
Tumblr media
Even with the fear lingering in the back of your mind, you're still able to lose yourself in your work, almost missing the sound of your doorbelling going off downstairs half an hour later.
You quickly run down the stairs, swiping the money off the counter before stopping in front of the door. Smoothing your hair down into something more presentable, you catch your breath before opening the door.
The delivery guy looks older than you, probably a college student, if you had to guess. He looks like he wants to be anywhere but there, gaze far away as he stares down at the receipt.
"That'll be $22.98," He mutters, unzipping the hot-hold bag to take out your pizzas. You take them quickly, placing them on the side table next to the door before turning back to the man. When you look back to him the entire street behind him is pitch black, a lightless void that started right at the end of her driveway. From the dark comes a figure made of shadow, its red eyes seeming to stare right into your soul as it makes its way closer to the house.
"Here," You basically shout, shoving the money into his outstretched hand. You closes the door in his face before he can ask about your change. The second the door is shut sunlight comes streaming back into the house through the window at the top of the door.
You grab up the two pizza boxes, plus your dessert, and take them into the kitchen to lay them out on the counter. Grabbing a floral patterned plate from the cabinet, you grab yourself two slices of pizza and bring that plus your dessert up to your room.
When you open the door to your room you nearly drop your food in surprise. Climbing through your open window is a shirtless Paul, panting lightly as he pulls himself up.
"What the hell?!" You exclaim, quickly placing your stuff down on your desk as you watch him close the window behind him, "How did you get up here?"
"Superhuman strength, remember?" Paul says as he straightens up, looking over your room briefly before turning his attention to you. "Are you okay? I saw your texts and ran over as soon as I could."
"You ran all the way here?" You whisper in wonder, unconsciously stepping closer to Paul. He doesn't seem to be as winded as when he was climbing through your window, but a pang of guilt passes over you anyways. "You didn't have to do that."
The smile he gives you in response is soft, not something you would expect from someone as cocky as Paul. "Of course I did, it's my job to protect you. Well, me and Embry."
"Where is Embry anyway?" You lean around Paul to look out the window, deflating a little when you don't see him climbing through. The sun is starting to set, casting the shadow of your house well into the woods that brush up to the edge of your backyard.
"Sam held him back, he should be here soon, though," Paul tilts his head down to get a better look at your face, "are you sure you're okay?"
It takes you a second to respond, losing yourself in his eyes and the warmth radiating off of him. You nod slightly, wrapping your arms around yourself to dispel the cold in your room that you had only just noticed. "Must be nice to be warm all the time," You think bitterly.
"Are you cold?" You nod, arms tightening around yourself. His face settles into a teasing smirk as he spreads his arms wide, "well, there's 108° going to waste over here."
You feel your face flush in response, embarrassed at being caught out. But a part of you wants to be close to Paul, even though you still doesn't really know him, at least compared to Embry. You hesitate just a second longer, bottom lip pulled between your teeth. Pauls eyes trace the movement, and your heart flutters in your chest.
You close the already short distance to settle yourself in his arms. You would have thought that with his increased body temperature you would be uncomfortable, but you feel pleasantly warmed just by being in his arms. His arms wrap around your shoulders, while yours loop around his waist, face smushed into his broad, muscular chest.
"If being an imprint means I get my own personal heaters, I'm all in." You mumble into his skin, feeling the resulting laugh as it rumbles through his chest.
"Is that all I am to you, a way of keeping warm?" Paul jokes, tightening his hold on you slightly. He's able to effortlessly lift you up so that your toes are the only things keeping your on the ground. You let out a gasp, tightening your arms around his waist, even though you know he's strong enough to hold you with no effort.
"Put me down!" You laugh as he starts to spin with you, moving slowly to avoid knocking anything over in your small room.
The tips of your toes brush against the edge of your chair, hitting it with enough force to knock it into the desk in front of it. He quickly puts you down, and the two of you stare at the chair for a moment before you both break out in giggles.
The two of you are still pressed together, so you can feel when Paul turns to look over his shoulder. You pull your face away from his chest to ask what was wrong, but the sound of the window opening is answer enough. You peek around Paul to greet Embry, but falter at the angry look on his face. You quickly move out of Pauls's arms to get to him, hand brushing against his warm bicep as he stands at his full height.
"What's wrong?" You ask, looking up at him. His hands are clenched tightly at his sides, but his face had settled into something neutral, "What's going on?"
"Nothing, just Jake being Jake," You nod in understanding, failing to hide your giddy smile when the arm your not holding wraps around your waist, "So, what do you mean you've been seeing red eyes everywhere?"

This'll probably be the first of many since this was sooo much fun to do lol.
I was going to do this with Steph… but I felt more drawn towards El today for some reason. Probably because I've been editing a lot more of her scenes/chapters lately. So Elise, I choose you!
Thank you for tagging me, @gummybugg!
Let's begin!
__________
The door opens, and 18-year-old Elise Kennedy enters the room. She walks with graceful strides that indicates the quiet confidence she holds within her. She is a pretty girl - long wavy blonde hair styled in a messy bun, crystal clear blue eyes sparkling with joy and curiosity (despite being baggy from that high school stress and sleep deprivation), and a bright beaming smile that honestly does a better job of lighting up the room than my terrible cheap lamp does. She appears to be about 5'6, if I'm not wrong.
She extends a hand in greeting, radiating an immediate sense of warmth and sincerity. Her voice, I notice straight away is soft warm and gentle. It carries an undertone enough to put you at ease in an instant. Then she takes her seat.
I know I've only just met her, but she seems nice.
1) Are you named after anyone?
Elise: Uh, no. Not after a person, I don't think. Although, I do know how I got my name. My late grandmother was really into classical music, and she came up with the suggestion of "Elise" for me when I was born because one of her favourite pieces of music was "Für Elise" by Beethoven. When I was little, she actually taught me how to play it on the piano, too! That was a fun time… yeah. But to answer your question, no. Not that I know of.
2) When was the last time you cried?
Elise: I don't know… hmm, let me think. This is actually a deep question when you think about it.
Me: It is??
Elise: Wait! Do you mean, like proper crying? Bawling like a baby? Or do you mean like welling up, but not actually making a sound?
Me: Uh…
Elise: If you mean the first one, then probably last week. I was watching a really sad movie with my brother, and I just couldn't help it. If you mean the second one, then… I don't know. To be honest, it happens on a regular basis. So probably yesterday or something. I try not to be overly emotional all the time, but I'm a sensitive soul, what can I say? (pause) OH! I remember now!
Me: You do?
Elise: It was two weeks ago! Ok, let me explain - I have this friend who really loves music. His name is Bret, and something he likes to do as a hobby is write and produce his own songs, right? And two weeks ago, he sent me an email with a link to his SoundCloud. He posts all his songs there now, its amazing! Anyway, he asked me for feedback on the first song he uploaded on there. So I listened to it, and it made me cry. It was very deep and moving. I loved it… (laughs awkwardly) I feel like my answers are way too long, ha-ha! Sorry about that.
Me: Don't be sorry. This is good!
Elise: I'll send you a link to Bret's SoundCloud! You need to listen to it yourself, so you know what I'm talking about.
Me: Would your friend mind?
Elise: Uh… (pauses for a while to wonder whether or not Bret would actually mind) Probably not?
3) Do you have kids?
Elise: Uh, no. Nor do I want any - at least not right now. I'm still a school kid! (pause) I know I'm 18, so legally I count as an adult, but I still feel like a kid, honestly. And I think that just as a general rule, if you feel like a kid or act like a kid, you probably shouldn't raise a kid.
4) Do you use sarcasm?
Elise: (thinks for a moment, then nods) Yeah. Not as often as some people do, but sometimes it's just necessary, especially when you're dealing with difficult or incompetent people.
5) What's the first thing you notice about people?
Elise: I feel like I'm naturally quite good at reading people, you know? Like, even with people I don't know all that well, I can just look at them and have a good idea of how they're feeling, what their thinking, what they're like. And it's usually pretty accurate, as well. I'm quite intuitive in that sense. I think this is also the reason I connect well with others even if they're very different from me. Like, I'm an introvert, and I'm generally rather quiet and mind my own business most of the time, but quite a lot of my friends are super energetic extroverted people. I think its fun to be curious, you know? Like, taking the time to understand and empathise with a person. You form closer bonds with people that way.
6) What's your eye colour?
Elise: Blue! You see? (opens eyes wide so that I can see their colour)
7) Any special talents?
Elise: Hmm. I don't know if any of my talents count as "special" or anything. I have talents… like, back when I used to perform in my old choir, I was known for being able to hold notes for really, really long. My record back then was like 47 seconds. But it's been years since then, and I probably can't do it anymore. Anything else? (pauses to think for a second) Don't know whether this counts, but I'm really good at memorising things. My brother says I have a memory sharper than a katana… which I think says everything you need to know about him. (laughs) But like, to give an example, I can read a book and basically be able to quote it word for word afterwards. Or watch a show, and be able to recite every line in a given scene. It's quite helpful as a student, actually. Makes the studying process a bit smoother. Not that I don't work hard for my grades, because I do. I don't consider myself to be a mega-super-genius or anything.
8) Scary movies or happy endings?
Elise: Are you kidding me?! Happy ending all the way! I can't sit through a horror movie for the life of me. I hate scary stuff, I just don't like the feeling of terror. I don't get why some people actually like it. I mean some people have to like it, right? There has to be a reason that the horror genre has a market.
9) Where were you born?
Elise: Born and raised in London, baby!
10) What are your hobbies?
Elise: Reading, first of all. I love to read so much. I always have.
Me: What is the book you're reading currently?
Elise: Right now, I'm re-reading "Normal People" by Sally Rooney. It's so good, I highly recommend it. But aside from reading, I like music a lot. Not as much as Bret, but I love to play a bit of piano whenever I have the time, and I also love to sing still. Even though I'm not in my old choir anymore.
Me: Why did you stop if you clearly loved doing it?
Elise: (sighs) It was a toxic environment for me… I needed a break from some of those people. I don't really want to get into it.
Me: Ooookay… (slightly concerned)
11) Do you have any pets?
Elise: No, and I've always wanted one! (pouts) It didn't even matter what it was! My parents aren't about that, though. Ugh! (pause) Maybe in the future, I'll get a puppy. I love dogs so much!
12) What sports do you play/have played?
Elise: None. (laughs) I've never been a sporty person.
13) How tall are you?
Elise: Five foot five. And a bit, depending on what shoes I'm wearing.
14) Favourite subject in school?
Elise: These questions are getting harder… (laughs) I don't know what my favourite subject is. I like all my subjects… I chose four subjects I really enjoy for A level. English Lit, Politics, History and Textiles. I like all of them for different reasons. Even when I struggle with one of them, and it is my least favourite one day, I can't bring myself to hate it… and it ends up being my favourite subject the next day.
Me: Well, tell me why you like all of your subjects.
Elise: Ok! So English Lit is because I love literature, as you may have inferred before from what I said about reading… Politics is because I just find that aspect of the world interesting, you know? I mean, I never used to, but once I started taking this class, I just found it fascinating. Just seeing how that stuff works. History was my strongest subject back when I did my GCSEs, so I was like "I have to do it again next year!" And Textiles… I don't know, I just find it peaceful. It's a chill subject to balance out the crazy intense ones. (laughs again)
15) Dream job?
Elise: In my dreams, I have all kinds of different jobs. Just last night I had a dream that I was this therapist, right, and all of my friends from work were coming into my office to ask for help with their love lives, despite the fact that I literally have no dating experience and am therefore the least qualified person to ask for help in that department. Man… why would you even go to your therapist just to ask about your love life anyway? Is that the only thing in your life that's bothering you?! The ONLY thing?!
Me: …That's not what I meant.
Elise: Yeah, I know. I just wanted to talk about my weird dream for a second. I don't know what my dream job is. As a child, my dream job was to be an author, like Cressida Cowell. I used to love her books growing up. I wanted to write just like her… create this huge epic fantasy series… have that series get turned into movies… but I couldn't come up with any original ideas. So I gave up.
Me: Awww…
Elise: Oh, it's okay. I still write a bit sometimes for fun. But in terms of an actual career, I'm stuck between two things - a lawyer, and a journalist.
Me: Two completely different things.
Elise: Yep. Lawyer because it's something I've been working towards all my life, pretty much. I mainly did it because my parents always said that it's a promising career to have. But journalism is just so fascinating to me. It's like being a writer, except you don't need to come up with original ideas. Plus, you get to explore the world, discover exciting new people and places and cultures and events… and tell stories that don't often get heard. It's like the career was made for me!
Me: It does, doesn't it? Well, I'm sure you'll make the right choice for yourself. Thanks for coming, Elise. This has been fun.
Elise: Of course! Thank you for having me.
END OF INTERVIEW.

SHIPPING INFO:// Answer the following for your muse(s) so people know how shipping works on your blog
REPOST. DON'T REBLOG
What’s your OTP for your Muse(s)?
Oh hell. Let me see if I can remember all of them Stucky, Wnterhawk, Frosthawk [which I have accepted will never happen but I can dream dammit], Loki/Sigyn [HE LOVES HIS WIFE], Jaydick[any flavor; platonic or romantic], Dick/Babs, Dick/Roy, Remy/Rogue, Hyuroi, Hughes/Gracia[this man loves his wife okay], and the others either don't have an OTP because I haven't found one I like or they're OCs whose partner is another OC and therefore kinda pointless to list here XD
What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?
I'll try anything once. I'm a sucker for soulmate AUs, I'm great with deep platonic bonds -points at both Jaydick and Stucky-, gimme the romance, gimme FWB, just...-grabby hands- ship ALL THE THINGS Haven't ever really dabbled in toxic or hateships, but I would not be opposed to this with the right pairing and partner, either.
How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?
This depends entirely on the relative ages involved, since I have two muses on here that are both over 2000 years old and at that point worrying about age gaps is really kinda pointless. That being said, I will not ship anything beyond purely romantic with muses below the age of 18 as a general rule, and that only because I have two muses with minor-aged verses [Dick and Conrad].
Are you selective when shipping?
To an extent; I ship chemistry above all, so there's no guarantee that - as an example - my Bucky is gonna be solidly romantically attracted to any given portrayal of Steve, or that I the writer am gonna click with the writer of any given Steve out there. Chemistry does not just mean chemistry of the characters; if our styles clash or we don't really mesh well then shipping's probably not gonna happen.
How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?
I tend to be very lenient here, but in general once the bits below the belt start getting named and/or there is full nudity I start tagging. Unless my partner starts tagging and/or readmore-ing first, in which case I follow my partner's lead and do the same.
Who are other muses you ship your muse with?
Oh lord. Okay. Arthur: Bruce ( @cxpedcrusxder ) Dick: Marcus ( @hacker-codeq ), Roy ( @thecreativeforge ), Clint ( @normaltothemax ), Jason ( @lazaruspitreborn , @messeduphood , potentially one or two others to be determined later) Kyle: None yet Loki: None yet Remy: Matt Murdock ( @defectivexfragmented ) Bucky: Clint ( @normaltothemax ) Corwin: None yet Clive: None yet Greyson: None yet Conrad: As my shameless self-insert I have a list I'd love to ship him with, but none have happened yet XD TJ: I used to ship him with Steve back in the day; currently none. Caspian: Michelle ( @misstisalir ); otherwise, none yet Hughes: None yet Judas: Gabriel ( @misstisalir ); otherwise, none yet Lucifer: also Gabriel XD [it's complicated] otherwise, none yet
Does one have to ask to ship with you?
Yes. Like I said earlier, even the 'obvious' ships [like Stucky] might not actually work out between us. Consent is always key. Also, it's more fun to let things develop naturally, that's how the best ships happen!
How often do you like to ship?
So long as there's chemistry, all the damn time
Are you multiship?
100% I have only ever considered limiting ships once and that was because the character involved had just been so built around his ship partner that playing him off anyone else was just weird. That is the exception to the rule here.
Are you ship obsessed or ship more-or-less?
-shrug?- Depends on what mood I'm in at the time and who happens to be loud and demanding XD
What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?
Uh. -looks at current DC obsession- do I have to just pick one? Probably Jaydick, but in all its permutations. It scratches that delightful Stucky itch of 'can be just very deeply platonic but also so goddamn romantic under the right circumstances' and I kinda love it. But also I've a softspot for Batcat when they're written right.
Finally, how does one ship with you?
Hop in my inbox and ask; it's a more reliable way to get in touch with me than messenger at first XD Chances are I already ship it to some degree, or will start shipping it if I haven't already thought of it and can see the potential -sideeyes his Aquabat ship with Fox as evidence >w>-

I feel like Evie is the kind of mother that would have munchausens by proxy. Not that she'd deliberately make the kids sick or anything but be so worried that they might get sick that she's already preemptively treating them like they are. Then the placebo effect kicks in and the kid sort of suck in all her worrying with temperature checkings and chicken soup servings that they start to actually feel and act sick so Evie feels she was right all along and the cycle continues.
Kiiiiiiiinnnndddd of? I do love that idea though, that sort of toxic influence she has where she's actively stifling and causing sickness. Like a metaphorical Typhoid Mary scenario. Pretty apt for an Empire, honestly.
Her paranoia regarding the kids comes out more in their emotional state rather than physical in the fic. As Matthew states, she never once tied them up or locked them away. Once they were able, they really could go and do as they please. Just two rules: be discreet and come back to her. No-one else.
She jokes about wanting to be a recluse in the Estate and keep the children with her for as long as possible, but I don't think the thought ever crossed her mind to do something as restrictive as keeping them 'safe' in bed or not letting them outside. She wants them to be happy, and her version of happy is the good old 'out in nature's vibe. Luckily, the kids subscribe to that too.
She's the kind of mum who takes you to a blustery seaweed smelly pebble beach, snorts and breathes in deep and goes aaaahhhh, clears out the cobwebs don't it? whilst you stand there wet, windswept and cold, and wishing you'd just stayed at home in front of the fire.
In the fic, the illnesses are entirely her own and are almost entirely self-inflicted. She is genuinely sick, but what happened was she started taking opiods to help with lingering pain after her civil war, to which she became addicted and continued to take even after her body had recovered. After Alfred left, she went through withdrawal, only to get back on it at a higher dosage and stay there until the Opium Wars. She spent pretty much the 1790s - 1850s completely out of it and at times was a really disconcerting presence to Jack and Maia and Matthew. Thereafter, she's on it off it on it off it until the 1980s or so. She's been clean since 1987, which is ironic, because a lot went wrong in the UK that year.
She is sick. As some characters say though, it's her mind that's suffering, rather than any injured limb or viral/bacterial disease. The addiction then starts to fuck with her body, with stomach cramps and constipation. Her kidneys and heart aren't doing too hot either, hence her looking so grey and pallid all the time. Her ability to heal is kind of screwed because her body is forever trying to keep up with potential renal failure, let alone something that another nation could maybe shake off, like a gun shot wound.
And regarding the kids, I actually think she does completely right by them, physical health wise. She just understands dietary and sanitation requirements through a dozen lifetimes experience, so hopefully I show that when Alfred points out at one point that under her care he never caught any kind of water born illness, and Matthew remembers that the one time where she did - Cholera in the 1840s - its her alone that gets it and not Oz or Zee because she picked it up travelling without them to London, and Matt wasn't even in the country at the time. She gave all the kids vaccines for smallpox, and she is a big firm believer in playing outside and rolling in mud. She keeps them out of cities because she knows the air is absolutely gross. She understands basic things (even if the reasonings have not yet been discovered) like the need for salt, bicarbonate of soda and boiled water to make saline, or making ginger and honey tea for the kids when they get a tummy bug.
That said, when she's not there, the kids absolutely do pick up all kinds of bugs and diseases because the humans just don't understand quite yet. It's policy that she is not informed until after the illness has passed on account of her being a bit of a murderous monster to the person who allowed it to happen. Alfred, who wrote to her in a fit of delirium in the 1860s, was the exception as he got past the censors, and she was still willing to go to quite an extreme to get to him.
When the kids did catch colds or fevers with her though... You'd think they were two steps from death's door. Alfred only got sick once, and that was a two steps from death's door situation. I think she internalised that. Jack, who's much more prone to catching the sniffles whilst in the UK, makes her worry endlessly. You saw her mump and mope over how thin she thought Matthew was as a baby - call it maternal instinct or whatever, but the woman knows how to raise happy, healthy fat babies.
For me, the real issues - the real illness - starts to rear its head when the kids develop a world view that extends beyond their mother.

One
Synopsis: Two old best friends reunite after years in their first year of college, they're lives have changed completely and it was as if they never knew each other. With age and life changing them, their distant bond becomes stronger as they do everything in their power to save each other without even realizing it. In the midst of the drama and tears they realize how much they truly need each other, despite everything trying to keep them apart
Warnings : cursing, mentions of smoke
"Y/n Let's go i'll be driving you today on my way to work. I have to speak to you." Y/ns dad murmured and she was quick to grab her bag and follow her dad to the car.
"You wanted to talk?" She asked after buckling her seatbelt and her dad began driving.
"Right, Y/n i know you care about minghao a lot, but remember it's been 8 years he isn't the same hao you use to know." He started glancing at his daughter. She watched him attentively listening, her hands folded in her lap and her legs crossed. She's her scolded otherwise.
"I know father." She answered and he nodded.
"He has changed and not for the better, and i hope you know that if you speak to him you will be committing sin. i want none of that in your life dear, so i hope you will follow my wishes and avoid him and any of his friends he may have made as well. I strongly discourage you in approaching him. We all know what sun does to the soul." Her dad lectured and she nodded along, she didn't agree with her father but she'd be insane to speak such and opinion aloud to him. She simply agreed with him and promised to obey his wishes.
Despite this she still felt the need to apologize to the boy.
Y/n had looked around what felt like all of campus more minghao and kept coming up empty handed she only had one more class left before she would have to go home.
Finally deciding to try for her last hope she left the library through the back way which seemed to be a fire exit. She was sure this was against the rules, but she also felt that it being her first day of school she'd be able to play dumb and act lost if she were to be caught.
the door led straight outside towards dumpsters and she was able to smell a certain odor of smoke. She scrunched her nose slightly before looking the direction and seeing two boys peaking out from the corner.
She knew it wasn't the smartest approach but it was her last hope she she walked towards them.
"They sound like assholes, i can't believe she just let them talk to you like that, are you sure she's your best friend?" the long haired blond spoke and her eyes widened.
She froze as she noticed.. it was actually minghao just around the corner.
When he saw her his posture quickly straightened.
"Y/n? what are you doing out here?" he asked her a bit rushed glancing at his friends.
"Minghao.. can i talk to you.. please?" she asked him her voice timid since there was more people than she would have liked to be around. He nodded walking towards her and motioning her to move away from the group slightly.
"What is it?" he asked stuffing his hands into his jacket pockets.
"About last night, i'm sorry.. that is not how i wanted things to go and i felt terrible all night knowing that what father said was just out of hand, he really had no right saying any of that to you." she started and he nodded along relaxing his posture a bit whilst listening to her speak. "And i really hope you know that i don't share the same beliefs as they do, my parents have changed a lot since we left, and i won't make excuses for them but please don't judge me based on their words. I find nothing wrong with how you've decided to express yourself, honestly i like it quite a lot." She smiled at him locking her hands together in front of her.
Minghao smiled at her and chuckled shaking his head slightly. He placed a hand in her shoulder before pulling her into a tight hug.
"God i've missed you dork." he mumbled into her hair closing his eyes.
"oh.. i've missed you as well." she spoke, though her voice was slightly muffed due to the closeness.
As they pulled away he sighed. "How come you didn't say anything to them?" he asked her and she sighed shaking her head.
"I can't, going against their word serves for a large punishment, just talking to you right now, if they were to find out i was doing this i'm sure i would be taken right back to America." she told him and he nodded in understanding, a bit at least.
"i'm guessing they don't like me as much anymore." He said and she only frowned slightly not wanting to answer that but he nodded with a sigh. "that's fine, i didn't care much about seeing them again anyway it was really just you i missed." he finished and she smiled at him.
"would you like to meet a couple of my friends?" he asked and she nodded, completely ignoring everything her dad had told her now.
as they walked back his friends quieted again.
"Guys this is y/n, y/n these are a few of my friends Jeonghan, Soonyoung, Junhui, and Joshua." he introduced them and they all greeted her.
"Joshua? is that american?" she asked and joshua smiled and said a small yes.
"Oh! how cool, i just got back from America." She smiled at him and his eyes widened.
"Oh really!? how did you like it? it's been so long since i've been there." he said excited and she laughed softly.
"it was nice, a huge culture shock, lots of differences but other than that it was like really nice however i thing i would have preferred the visit to be a bit shorter." she told him and she was going to continue before her phone went off. she looked down seeing a text from her mother stating she was on her way to pick her up.
"oh. i have to be leaving now." she mumbled sadly and minghao took her phone from her. Her eyes widened as he typed a bit before handing it back to her.
"Here." he smiled she looked at what he had done and seen a new contact. "professor x" she giggled slightly. "I'm sure your parents would flip if you had my number, so just say it's one of your professors or something yea? oh and i already texted my number." he explained and she nodded.
"that's so smart!" she said her eyes wide with surprise and laughed softly before sighing. "well i should get going, goodbye it was nice meeting you." she said and bowed to the boys before rushing off.
"Well isn't she just an angel." Jeonghan stated as she disappeared from sight and minghao shoved the blinds shoulder slightly.
"Yea unlike you. and don't even think about it guys, like i said her parents have flipped." Minghao sighed.
"So.. you happy she's back?" Junhui asked him and minghao was confirming before he even realized it.
"Things always seemed so much easier with her, don't know how things will change with her parents being the way they are now though." Minghao mumbled.
"What was with the outfit?" Soonyoung asked and minghao shrugged. "i was like talking to someone from little house on the prairie." He continued and Minghao rolled his eyes.
"I wouldn't be surprised if her parents are in control of her closet." Hao told them and they frowned, it was odd yea, but wouldn't be surprising from what they had heard.
"We should take her shopping." Joshua said and minghao scoffed.
"Yea? with what money? and where would she put them?" Minghao asked and Joshua shrugged.
"Money isn't the issue, you willing to give her a drawer?" Jeonghan said, minghao nodded.
"What do you mean money isn't a problem?" Junhui asked slightly clueless and jeonghan old laughed patting his shoulder before walking away.
the four other boys looked at eachother.
"What does he mean?" Junhui asked them and they all shrugged.
"we'll get to planning, we have a date with a certain angel." Joshua teased and Minghao rolled his eyes.
"or pilgrim- ow! hao what the fuck!" Hoshi whined.
