Kind of a sucker for unrequited love on the PC/Reader’s part… being Dr. Harper’s favorite patient not because they like you, but because you’re so obedient and willing to please because of your crush on them. They know you’ve got a crush, throwing you bones to string you along and keep you compliant. Maybe they don’t even have to do that, because you’re so desperate to see things your way, that you interpret any normal action of theirs as a confirmation of your feelings being returned. Maybe both of you know they don’t like you back, but it doesn’t even matter— you don’t care if they reciprocate as long as they keep letting you follow them around like a dog. Becoming so attached to them and infatuated that it actually starts to cause them problems. Fighting with the other patients at the asylum (because having you follow them around at the main hospital was already too much trouble) if they badmouth the Doctor, refusing to comply with the orderlies because you want Dr. Harper and nobody else… I want Dr. Harper to grow to regret playing into the Reader’s feelings for their own convenience in experiments, to become disgusted by them…
