One of the things I appreciate about the HQ one-shot are the panels with Suna. The fandom absolutely wrecked his image for me. A HUGE amount of fics/posts I have seen on him show him to be a fuckboy or a cheater or some kind of a jerk/asshole. I did not like him for a LONG time because of that. It was already hard for me to form an opinion/characterization of him because he appears for a very limited amount of time with little to no backstory and seeing him being characterized like this so often just made me want to run in the opposite direction whenever he came up.

But the canon information we did get about him was never anything inherently negative. In fact, I love his "gonna take a million embarrassing pictures and post them on Instagram" trait. I feel like he'd the best person to have with you on Snapchat. Non-stop entertainment all day.
