Local Bi Goth Dad feels called out about his tastes

The fun thing is, I didn't intentionally make Shura and Shinji similar in nature. It just happened lol

There's no official designs for Shura/my friend's oc Shika yet for this modern version, so I just came up with stuff based on their other story looks. Also yes, Jurou was ABSOLUTELY an Angsty teen.

....I forgot to draw Jurou's chest tattoo, as it would be lightly visible from under his shirt, but TBH I'm too lazy to add it anymore; it's too hot here. Maybe I do it later

Some random extra info below:

Shura's kin (Vigour spirits, they are light spirits of sorts) don't age like biologically born beings like Jurou, but rather has stages where they gather what they call "luminosity" I.E power & life experience. Once they reach a certain threshold, they are able to shapeshift into a more mature looking form. It is not a steady bit-by-bit growth, but rather they remain in child form for a period of time, then shift into a teenager, then an adult. How long each stage takes depends on the individual.

In Shura's case he did roughly age in similar pace to Jurou. (His aging is also somewhat different from humans, mainly after a certain point it slows down)

They are raised by Muse spirits; their Deity creates them, then brings them to the muses to raise. This is given Spectra is a Deity largely themed around creativity, imagination, etc alongside light.

The fact Shura became close friends with a Soul Eater is somewhat amusing to some, given Spectra is known to lurk around the Deity of Soul Eaters (who is basically just the first ever Soul Eater in existence during the current world cycle)

Soul eaters don't in-fact date until they reach adulthood usually; this is because while they are still kids/teens, they could accidentally devour someone's soul when being intimate in any way outside just hugs and hand-holding. They don't have full control over their power yet, and physical intimacy from kissing and beyond is too dangerous in the eyes of most of them.
