made a new character, this time for Humblewood!

i modeled the players from my humblewood campaign!! i'll get turnaround renders tomorrow but my mousehand is dying after texturing so i really wanted to show these screenies before i go sleep. enjoy!!!

Rosemary was a character I created for a Mouse Guard campaign a few years ago. Now I've brought her back for a whole new adventure in a whole new setting in an entirely different rpg system; Some 25ish years after the events of Mouse Guard, Rosemary finds herself entangled with a new cast of characters within the dnd setting of Humblewood.

 I’m actually quite proud of how I’ve translated my pacifist mouse from the Mouse Guard rpg system to the (much more combat oriented) dnd 5e. I love making creative builds in 5e, and Rosemary is probably my most unique creation yet. She is a Fighter multi-class who, a dozen sessions in, has not done a single point of damage. And yet she is the character that my DM has said scares them the most when designing combat encounters.

Needed some whimsy, so I painted up the Vulpin Captain from the Humblewood series. I didn't think he looked like a bandit, so I painted him up to look like the fox from Tunic after a good friend's suggestion. I even molded and cast a shield from Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past to add to the inspiration.

Amphibiuary 2023 - Day 2 - Wizard May I introduce you to Loisgean, my Humblewood (basically a DnD spin-off) character? They are a salamander and they are, in fact, also a wizard. A Leyline Magic Wizard, to be precise, who also carves runes as a hobby. When I saw the amphibiuary prompts @amphibianaday posted, I felt targeted on a very personal level when I saw day two. P.S.: Loisgean is Scottish Gaelic and means salamander. And it is pronouced roughly  like LOSH-gan. :) P.P.S.: Shoutout and many thanks to @molekel who drew Loisgean for me before an whose art of him I used as a vague reference. She is also the one who pointed me at Amphibiuary.

A year of character development between my Humblewood character and another PC, condensed into 3 panels. The (self-proclaimed) unlovable character realizing that they are loved is my kryptonite.

Also, they are girlfriends now. Happy Valentine’s Day.
