Like the chars in my meat mechs world are called Airis, Vance, Fenwolf and Valentine. Easy. Smashed them out in like a week and they all came naturally.

Meanwhile the world is still called the fucking "Meat Mechs setting" because I CANT FIND A PROPER NAME FOR IT

Years ago I had a "fight"/discussion with a mega Anglo-Saxon white lesbian in here in which they were pretty racist to me and when I pointed it out they played the victim and refused to apologize. They e-beg a lot (no judgement on that specifically jic) and every time either I or they remake they start tagging me in their donation posts. :) I'm never EVER gonna reblog your donation posts no matter how many times you tag me in them. yes!! I'm glad you noticed that detail!!! when aki says, "you learn that in school," to denji... and seems really shocked when he finds out denji never went to school... which implies that he did......

I think aki probably went to school for the bare necessities, considering he became a devil hunter when he was a teenager. he split his focus between studying and training, working under kishibe, where he learned self-defense and sword fighting. he worked as hard as possible on his studies to make sure he'd graduate early and be able to become a devil hunter in no time.

he would definitely be seen as a hard working student, even if he doesn't get any of the top scores. his teachers like him because he's quiet. but he's a little rude, closed off and hard to approach. kids would assume he was a loner because they never saw him hanging out or walking home with anyone. they passed around rumors about him being an orphan, about how his family died in the gun devil attack.

even though there were many others like him, it made him feel like an outcast. but it also just pushed him to work himself even harder.

In trials, I think that while Jane is ultimately an altruist, it's not to a degree of recklessness. She'll try and keep you alive as much as possible and will take on the killer's ire to distract them, but if she's already bleeding out and you go down when you're the last two, don't expect her to kill herself and reveal both yours and her location to the killer to give you a miniscule chance of hatch.

( It's not spite - it's strategy. I think it's often overlooked that Jane worked hard to become a household name and it wasn't luck; I think she knows how to play the game, and while she's absolutely not free from reckless or ill-informed decisions, she'll play it safe when absolutely necessary. )
