For some, the holidays are all about frankincense and myrrh, while for others, they're all about Hallmark hunks and her. If you fall into the latter camp, you may want to make like Santa and get thee to New Jersey this December.
Christmas Con New Jersey has already revealed plans to reunite the cast of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation — Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid and Juliette Lewis will all be there — along with 15 fan-favorite actors from across the Hallmark, Great American Family and Lifetime holiday cinematic universe. But PEOPLE now gets to exclusively reveal 14 more stars set to take the stage.
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon: Move over. We're about to unleash our own list of Santa's helpers.
Melissa Joan Hart, Alicia Witt and Catherine Bell will be joined by fellow festive ladies Nikki DeLoach, Erin Cahill, Melissa Claire Egan, Danica McKellar, Katrina Law and Brooke D'Orsay.
As for the gents, Cameron Mathison, Kristoffer Polaha, Jesse Hutch, Will Kemp and Wes Brown will be decking, er, walking the halls of the Expo Center.
This lineup means a number of this year's holiday movie costars will be at the event together. D'Orsay and Kemp are paired up for A Not So Royal Christmas. The already announced Lacey Chabert will get to see Brown, her Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up costar.
And Cahill and Bell will get to say hello to their Christmas on Cherry Lane costar Jonathan Bennett.
Meanwhile. here's hoping Great American Family actors McKellar and Jen Lilley bring their dancing shoes. McKellar will be cutting a rug next month in Swing into Romance, while Lilley is costarring with Matthew Morrison in the upcoming A Paris Christmas Waltz.
Other stars previously announced include the Three Wise Men and a Baby gents — Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell — as well as Kimberley Sustad, Victor Webster, Cindy Busby, Brennan Elliott, Autumn Reeser, Taylor Cole, Steve Lund, Jesse Metcalfe and Benjamin Ayres (Romance University gear, anyone?).
In addition to the stars Christmas Con is a winter wonderland complete with a tree lighting, a holiday market full of local artists and vendors, photo ops and other activities.
Christmas Con 2023 takes place Dec. 8–10 at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey. Ticket information can be found here.

Baby of mine
Tumblr media
TW: unwanted pregnancy, forced relationship, stalking,
"Honey, don't mark on the table, ok." you scolded Holly. She had gotten ahold of the crayons that came along with the kid menus. Holly gave a tiny pout but listened to your directions. Her chubby fingers picked up the messily laid-out crayons and placed each one in the box.
Holly was such a good girl. She always obeyed your command and rarely ever gave you a hard time. Since times were tough for the two of you, you had no money to pay a babysitter: so Holly would join you during work hours unless she was at her preschool. You never had to get on to her, only sometimes, which was usually for minor actions.
"Mommy, when can we go home? I wanna play with my toys." she moaned as she tugged at your work uniform. You gently laid your hand to rest upon her little head. "Soon, honey." You told her. You still had an hour before you could leave the restaurant.
She sighed and rested her head on the table, causing the dishes to rattle. You haul out a chair and sit next to her. You gently stroke her hair in an attempt to solace her. "Baby, you haven't touched your cake." Was she feeling alright? this was her favorite after all.
Holly pushed away from the plate." I'm not a fan of Pineapple upside-down cake anymore, mama." you felt a little irritated; she had this yesterday with no complaint.
She sat up to rest her head against your shoulder, "I just want to spend time with you." Her words were muffled but she was still audible. You swore you could hear her voice crack. Her lips quivered and she started to snivel. Your heart broke at the scene.
You twirl a strand of her hair to grab her attention, "how about after my shift, we go to the park?" Her eyes lit up,  "yeah! We can go on the slide together right?!" You nod with a smile.
Holly hurried you to continue your shift, "mama, hurry! Stop talking to me and work!" You chuckle at her and rush to finish.
You would do anything for Holly. She was the most precious thing in your life. At first, you didn't want her due to your living conditions and her father and other mother; Joseph and Suzi Q. You wanted to end your relationship because they were obsessed with you. You would have ended it sooner if you didn't brush it off as just being protective. Maybe they just were scared you'd end up hurt, like Caesar.
After you tried to end ties with them, suggesting getting a divorce, they went crazy. They locked you away in their house in New York. You had punishments and couldn't refuse anything from them. They could touch and kiss you whenever they felt; they didn't even ask for your consent.
Usually, you'd spend the day with Suzi as the other housewife. You would have to do chores together and make food before Joseph came home from selling houses. And even though Joseph was more annoying and hostile with you, Suzi was also annoying to be around.
Suzi would make you engage in romantic activities with her. Cooking, dancing to her favorite songs, watching romantic films, kissing, cuddling: you get the deal. But she was tolerable since she'd take you outside to go cloth shopping once in a while. Usually behind Josephs's back.
When you found out about your pregnancy, you couldn't just let your child live in this toxic household. You had to escape before you showed any signs of pregnancy. You escaped while Suzi was asleep and Joseph was out on one of his many business trips. You moved from New York to Louisiana, which was quite far away. You were confident Joseph wouldn't look out there.
And you were right since it had been five years.
Eventually, your shift had ended in a flash. When you reached Holly she was practically jumping in her seat. "Park!Park!Park!" she chanted, you giggle and cheer in unison. She hops into your arms and you pick up your purse.
When you walk out the door it seems as if the Trolley was waiting for you. You and Holly climbed into the Trolley and found empty seats. Holly looked out the window as the Trolley moved, she appreciated the scenery as it passed by.
The park was in the Downtown area, that's the reason you'd have to ride the Trolley. You weren't sure if Holly's favorite part was playing at the park or just going on the Trolley. It took 15 minutes to arrive at your destination, which you couldn't complain about since you enjoyed the Trolley as much as Holly.
You and Holly jump off the Trolley and walk over to the park, where many children are already playing. You remember you have to remind Holly before she went to play, "Don't get your dress dirty, okay." she fixes the bow on her head and nods. Somehow she always manages to get her dresses dirty and you have to remind her not to.
She runs off to play tea party with her friends on their picnic sheet.
It's like the bench behind you was calling your name.
Shortly, you were sitting on the bench, relaxing your tense muscles from a hard day of work.
-
"Oh, JoJo. When are you coming back home?" Suzi Q whined through the payphone. She hated when she was alone. She'd repeatedly call her husband due to her unwanted solitude. Sure she had Roses with her, but It just wasn't the same. She craved her husband and her lost lover to be near her.
Joseph sighed sharing the same feeling his wife had. He was on a business trip in Louisiana: a place he was foreign to. He rubbed his temple before he answered, "I'll be home for dinner. I'm sure if it." Joseph was already done with work and just wanted to go back home, he'd make sure to be back home in his wife's arms tonight.
"That's great! I'll make sure to make you Squid ink pasta, tonight." Joseph grinned at the thought of coming home to his favorite meal. "Alright! I'll be sure to hurry home!" Joseph bids his wife goodbye and hangs up the payphone. Now he has no idea what he'll do, he was in a foreign location.
He began to wander around the city but soon halted when a store insight. "A cold Coke doesn't sound too bad right now.." he mumbles to himself. After buying a coke he decided to relax at a near park since he'd have to do plenty of walking later. He sat on a bench and placed one leg on top of the other as his body rested on the bench. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the sounds of children playing.
Joseph always did want a child of his own, but Suzi and he had agreed to find you before making any drastic changes without you; so they would wait till you were found to start a family.
Joseph unconsciously listens to a conversation between a child and their mother. The child was telling their mother how tired they were. In a honey-toned voice, the mother replies, "okay honey. Say goodbye to your friends first." Joseph's eyes immediately opened at how similar the voice was.
Without thinking about his next actions, he stood up and walked over towards the woman, whose back was turned away from the man. Now he was staring down at the woman's child with awe. The child looked like a mix between you both: but more with Joseph's features.
-
What was Holly staring at? First, she was confessing how tired she was, now she has a look of confusion laid upon her face. Your stomach bubbled with anxiety when you realized she was looking above you. You attempt to turn around to see what Holly was gawking at, but the grip of strong calloused hands halted you from doing so.
You shiver when you felt hot air hit your ear, "what a surprise babe." your worst fear came true. Joseph found you.
You were quick to shove Joseph off of you. You swiftly snatched Holly into your arms and ran at high speed to your house. Holly sobbed into your shoulder, she was confused and frightened. You hushed her, afraid her weeping would lead Joseph in your direction. "Holly, it's okay. Shhh...shhh." Now you both were crying for the same reasons.
You made it to your front door. You gently placed Holly onto her feet. You fumble into your purse urgently searching for your keys. When you found them you unlocked the door at the speed of light.
"Don't go inside y/n." Joseph's voice warned from behind.
You spin around to face Joseph. The Joestar expression was full of amusement, he was enjoying this little chase. Joseph was first to speak, "Y/n, darling. We need to talk." you took a shaky breath in. You bent down to Holly's height so you were face to face. "Go inside and watch Tv, okay. Mom is coming soon." Holly nodded, repeatedly glancing at her father then back at you. Holly went inside closing the door behind her.
"While I am delighted to see you, I can't help but be furious." Joseph told. He couldn't believe you'd be selfish enough to take his child away from him. How could you let a child live without a father?!
"Joseph. Leave us alone. I don't need Holly living with a man like you!" Joseph was only aggravated by your statement. You're always so disobedient with him.
Joseph was quick with a comeback, "It's amusing that you assume you have any say in coming home with me." He walked closer to you, enough his chest was able to touch your face. His thick fingers found themselves playing with small strands of your hair.
"Don't think you have a choice in this y/n" His eyes looked deeply into yours. "If you need me to drag you to New York, I will, love. I suggest you tell holly to start packing." you let out a heavy sigh.
For the first time, you were submissive to Joseph. "Ok," Joseph grinned. "I knew you'd come around, babe!"
