FINALLY done with that illustration for one of my DnD games!
My moth man Candor is super jealous of Nikolai (genasi guy) hitting on Vega (dragon lady).

...
Or maybe it's something different.

Had a bit of time before tabletop today, so I drew up my half-dragon lady, Rirolee! She's from Dalaran, and she's very proud of her heritage - especially now that she doesn't have to hide her scales!

"You're an Evergreen" - 1/?
(A short Khal and Imyril drabble)
“You’re an evergreen…”
Khal’Lil turned around, Imyril stood behind him, watching the treeline afar. As to explain his meaning, he pointed ahead, to the largest tree that broke through the treeline, cutting through the dark blue starlit sky. It was a particularly different tree, standing tall and mighty similar to a pine, but the top was split into four thinner trunks but still keeping its shape.
It had been struck by lightning.
“That’s an araucaria,” Khal’Lil gave him a sheepish smile.
“Araucaria?” Imyril tilted his head surprised and went to lean over the ruined wall of the keep. “I prefer evergreen.”
Khal’Lil looked away from him and towards the treeline.
“Why am I an evergreen?” Khal’Lil glanced at him.
“You remind me of one,” Imyril explained matter-of-factly. “One just like that one, deformed and split by the wrath of lightning.”
“I see…” He looked away from the tree, taking in his words. Somehow, they hurt.
Khal’Lil turned his back to the forest, leaning against the wall. Imyril crossed his arms. The dragonkin took in the elf’s image, feeling desire inside him. His eyes lingered, the well worked out torso, pecks and abdominals that peaked from under the well pressed dark shirt. The scars littering his evening shaded gray skin. He followed the lines of the scars to the line of his neck and up to his face, meeting those sharp mismatched eyes, the gaze of Helia and Lunae, watching him.
“How was he like?” Khal’Lil suddenly asked.
“Khalil?”
“Yes, who else?” Khal shrugged. “Was he also an evergreen?”
“Not even close,” Imyril laughed, looking down. “More like a monastery bloom.”
He didn’t elaborate on that, but Khal could see the love in his eyes, and he knew enough to know Monastery Blooms were beautiful gentle red flowers, with a sweet aroma, often used to make healing potions. While he was a deformed evergreen hit by lightning. He sighed.
Khal turned away, looking back at the treeline. He hated showing vulnerability to anyone, so he placed his mask and hid the hurt behind a deceiving grin. But he wondered, how would it feel to be so loved, so desired. He couldn’t even imagine, no one ever touched him like that or looked at him like that, with love. Even if Imyril was starting to be more mindful of the way he treated him, Imyril would never see Khal for who he was, no, he’d forever see him for who he wasn’t, Khalil.
He closed his eyes and scoffed. Pulling away from the wall.
“I should go to bed,” Khal started.
“Aislin has prepared your new room, I’m supposed to take you there.”
“I’ve been released from the stable?” Khal laughed and stopped, looking at him.
“You jumped down a well to save a child, you finally passed Aislin’s test.”
“I can fly, hardly a task,” Khal scoffed. “But I’ll take it. Stable’s cold, saer, and I’d very much rather sleep on a bed than spending every morning plucking hay from my braid.”
“You should cut your hair, the size of that braid is impractical.”

question
how do you run a non-human half-dragon?
i mean, it's still humanoid, but it's a halfling instead of a human, so would it get halfling luck and nimbleness, AND a draconic breathe weapon and dark vision?
that seems like a lot
