What's your take on Nuala and Cerridwen? As in...E*riels claim they're Elain's besties and they will be the "NestaGwynEmerie" of Elain's book. They keep hyping them saying "omg I miss Nuala and cerri they're the best characters!! can't wait to see their stories "
I personally can't see it at all. Weren't they handmaidens for Feyre? I just see them as employees of the Night Court. I'm sure Elain sees them as friends and vice versa but I feel like it's not...very deep?
I'd rather Elain find her 'found family ' on page during her healing journey in her book

My take on the wraith twins is that they're a lot like Feyre's relationship to Alis.
Alis was meaningful to Feyre's story but she wasn't meant to play a forever role in her story.
Az trained the twins, yes? Yet we never see him share a single conversation with them on page. Weird how her love interest doesn't seem to care about her found family.
The twins share their own special language between themselves, Elain is always going to be the odd woman out in that equation.
The twins have worked for Rhys and Feyre for how long now yet they're constantly just in the background as their servants.
It would be highly strange for Sarah to have known that these characters were going to play an important role in Elain's journey, have been on page since book 1 yet they remain the most side of all side characters. Outside of those who think they're going to be Elain's found family, I don't think anyone honestly cares much about what they're up to because we've been given nothing on them. Nothing we're curious about (outside of Amren wondering exactly who fucked who in order to conceive them). There's no backstory, nothing we're really expecting to learn.
I think we were given more setup for Emerie in ACOFAS than we've been given for the wraiths, ever.
And SJM does like her FMC to create relationships on page, isn't that exactly what she said in a recent interview? How she likes to go on the journey with the characters?
If Elain is already best friends with her found family, if she's already in love with Az, there's nothing to explore. We're going to feel no connection to these characters because we never watched Elain build anything with them, we're simply just told it exists.
I'm sure they always will be Elain's friends just as Alis will always be Feyre's. But that doesn't mean they're going to be the people she goes on an adventure with when it's time for her book.
