I don’t know why anyone believes anything Casca, Guts or Griffith say about relationships. Like none of these people have ever had a hug since childhood (and even then that might just be Casca) that didn’t cause them to question why this person is doing this, and what it means. 

Guts fully believing Griffith during the Promrose speech? Completely tracks. Guts doesn’t believe he is special, and openly questions why he is ever treated remotely as such by Grif, so no shit he’s gonna believe his bestie trying to talk a big game to a princess.

But the reader believing Griffith in that moment? I mean come on. By this point we know that Griffith acts irrationally for Guts, and that his words mean much less than his actions. He will continue to say there no reason to save Guts, but then plan around the mans actions, and basically sacrifice himself for him. He comes back from important meetings with nobles once he has the news that Guts and Casca are okay so he can see them. 

Not to mention that like 6 chapters after the Promrose speech you get Casca backstory, and her explaining what Griffith has done for the army.

 How can anyone believe anything that Griffith has said when he’s just putting up a front to try and avoid being vulnerable. Like talk about falling for his act I guess.

I will be roleplaying as female Griffith and I am looking for a partner to play preferably as Guts from Berserk.

I am interested in a long-term rp as I would like to explore the Berserk AU plot where Griffith is female and how it would affect the plot. With elements of the golden age arc and their themes and relationship.

/dark themes, psychological depth and fighting scenes like the original and smut are fine but I am interested in a good story-telling. I write in lengthy and detailed responses and expect the same from you. I am capable of writing supporting characters to help narrate a vivid Berserk world./

I will mostly play bottom but I can dominate too (believe me)

The eclipse is optional in this AU, but IF it does occur, be warned that Fem! Femto will be preying on Guts in this version (you know what I mean). I can leave this out if you are not comfortable with it.

- What year did you get into Berserk? 2021, because I have AMAZING timing.

- Did you watch the anime or read the manga first? I actually have a much easier time reading things, as opposed to watching them, so reading 40 volumes made more sense to me than watching 20 episodes. (One day I'll finish the anime... OTL)

- Who’s your favorite character and why? Griffith, because I am a bad person who must be stoned for my sins. Oh, and pre-eclipse Casca, because unfortunately post eclipse Casca is essentially an object and plot device more than a character. I don't actively have an issue with a character regressing or being deeply traumatized, but she's... Not Handled Well. BUT RANT ASSIDE, I really think Griffith is a wonderfully developed and tragic character. Also Casca, pre eclipse, is often regarded by fans as being mostly the love interest, but I found her motivations and loyalties to her friends and teammates complex and interesting. Also she's a sexy badass LOL.

- Do you have a favorite story arc? I'm boring, but the Golden Age. It's the arc that has the best, narrative structure, and complete story on it's own. I do like the other arcs, but they feel more like chapters of a story, rather than complete ones on their own. Also, the tragedy is just so well done.

- What are your top 3 ships? Gutsgriff, and hmmmm.... I think Casca and Farnese could be cute.

- Who’s your favorite apostle? Irvine <3

- Is there a character you’d know that you’d be friends with? I don't think any of them would want to be my friends XD

- Who’s your favorite God Hand? Griffith

- You’re allowed to bring one character back from the dead. Who are you bringing back? None, TBH, I think nearly all deaths in Berserk are actually pretty well done.
