I got my hands on the 4K restoration of Ghidorah the Three-Headed Monster which was scaled down to 2K when it had a special airing in Japan. I scaled it back up to 4K with A.I. and it looks gorgeous. Yes, it's 56 gigs in size and took my new Mac 21 hours, but the final result is absolutely worth it.

This will have to do until Toho decides to release the real thing commercially.

Godzilla in pop culture: Look at this funny dinosaur guy fight other dinosaur guys. He's so wacky!

Godzilla in the original film (and Shin Godzilla and Minus One): This beast represents our fears and damaged psyche caused by nuclear destruction. We must be staunchly anti-war or risk the annihilation of our species to petty grievances. We will never truly heal from the pain and suffering that occurred in Nagasaki and Hiroshima.

Godzilla in every other movie: Look at this funny dinosaur guy fight other dinosaur guys. He's so wacky!

I should mention that I legitimately love both styles of film, but the mood whiplash between them is pretty intense.
