Talk about La Scaloneta destined to be World Cup champion cuz it’s been written in the stars, there are 2 things I found that are interesting from this match against Nederland.

First, when Lahoz yellow-carded Gonza for protesting just 3 minutes after Gonza came to the pitch to replace Molina. That yellow card banned Gonza from playing in the next game, in case the Argies advanced to the Semifinal round. But that didn’t stop him from executing the penalty kick.

Meanwhile, during Argies’ last, final game against France when the victory had to be determined through a penalty shoot-out, we got him ready, unpunished, and he did his job well once again.

The reason why I mentioned Dybala in this post is because of what he revealed later that he remembered what Dibu said to Enzo: "kick the ball to the center". I can say that Enzo’s failure during the match against Nederland somehow helped La Joya to convert his kick successfully.

Feyenoord maakt in Klassieker aanspraak op meer, maar moet tegen Ajax genoegen nemen met puntendeling

Het is Feyenoord zondagmiddag niet gelukt om Ajax op de knieën te dwingen. Vanuit de tweede lijn haalde Danilo maar eens uit, maar de poging van de oud-Ajacied ging naast het doel van Rulli. Nadat Klaassen de bal kopte, viel de bal via het lichaam van Wieffer binnen: 1-1.

De koploper, die de zaken tot dat moment prima op orde had, moest de rug rechten. Santiago Gimenez kreeg in de slotfase een enorme kans om Feyenoord alsnog naar de zege te schieten, maar hij kreeg de bal niet langs Rulli. Dichterbij kwam de thuisploeg niet meer. De Klassieker kende daarmee geen winnaar; een resultaat dat voor Feyenoord het minst bevredigend zal zijn.
