I think I’ve now (officially?) spent half my life in Minnesota, which in my humble opinion, is pretty great. I’d been wanting a tattooed tribute for years now, featuring some of my favorite things, common loons and red pines!

I can’t share the full version because people have no shame, but this is one of many possibilities. Now I just have to find a local tattoo artist with open books, which has been pretty hard to find these days: bonus points if they can handle my avian pedantry.

It hatches from black, common, gorgeous, haunting, heavy, iridescent, jagged, large, local, loose, straight, white, widespread, and yellow eggs.

i put so much thought into this one characters name to make it a (slightly incorrect) play on the scientific name for the common loon and with the other one i just wrote something down and went yeah sounds fine.

ive never felt more normal. gets out of bed and walks to the closet exaggerating my every step like a cartoon character while splatting sound effects play and then turns into a clothes hanger with a slide whistle sound effect
