Headcanon: Leo With an Affectionate S/O Would Be Like...

Request: (Not sure if you do multiple, if not, either is okay!) Can I request headcannons for Shura and Leo with an affectionate reader?

A.N. Here is the Leo part of this request!

Leo is not an affectionate person. He always brushes off any affection that his siblings give him and doesn't want anything to do with it.

If you are very affectionate, he will do his best to cater to your needs without crossing his own boundaries.

Leo's boundaries would be very clear from the beginning of your relationship. He would expect you not to cross his boundaries but understands that you are an affectionate person and will never snap at you or blame you for anything. He wouldn't want to upset you, but he would clarify if something you did make him uncomfortable.

Leo doesn't like PDA. If you are in public or where many people could see you, Leo would not want to show much affection. He is not embarrassed by you. He just isn't comfortable putting your relationship on display.

He will link his arm with yours when walking down the street. He says it is because he is a gentleman, and it would be a disgrace if he didn't escort you. However, he does enjoy having you close without making a big show out of it.

When in private, Leo will be very different. He would always be open to accepting your affection. He will always have time for you even if he is working or has other things to do.

Even though Leo doesn't really initiate affection, he doesn't want to make you feel like your affection is one-sided. So he will occasionally surprise you with hugs, cuddles, or kisses. He enjoys surprising you because he gets to see your happy and shocked face full of love.

Leo enjoys holding you close when going to sleep. It relaxes him and helps him recharge. He also likes to hold you a little longer in the morning. It gives him a boost to get through the day.

There are times when Leo breaks his own rules. He usually won't show much affection to you when too many people can see. When he is having a rough day, he will seek you out no matter how many people are around.

With Leo, you will never feel like your affection is one-sided. You will always feel loved, and he will never leave you feeling needy.

If not for the fact, omg poor Camilla, I really see Camilla as someone who...wouldn't stop having babies until she couldn't no more.

yeahhhh!

My initial vibe for camilla was that she's someone who really wants kids, which I think is how a lot of people see her—which is why I married her to Laslow instead of having her be gay lol. But after she actually did have a kid in my save and got her ending, I completely changed my mind. If she's married to someone random I don't really think she'd want kids that much. Her thing is that she loves her family, which already exists, not that she wants kids. (The idea of her going back to Ylisse with Laslow felt so Bad to me lol)

However, she loves her existing family. A lot. Abnormally so, one might say. So if she were with Leo (or Xander or Corrin), I think yep she would have so many kids. And she would love it. She'd love being pregnant, she'd love growing her family, and she'd absolutely love the fact that she can create a big family without having to be married off and separated from her siblings.

Like... I feel like if she had kids with [insert random potential husband or political marriage partner], she'd feel a it distant to them. A bit lonely, and always long to be back in Nohr and with her siblings. But if she had kids with one of her brothers?? She would love them to DEATH.

Camilla and Leo with so many kids that the eldest is technically old enough to be the youngest's parent 😩

In the midst of the snowfall, the couple sought refuge in a cozy café. While the wind howled outside, they shared a hot beverage that wafted the comforting aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Each sip provided them with a sense of satisfaction, both from the warmth radiating from the cup and the company of each other.

"Isn't this just perfect?" Laslow smiled, cradling the mug in his hands.

"Absolutely," Xander replied, glancing out the fogged window. "It's like our own little haven in the storm."

Through the fogged window, they watched the snowstorm dance, grateful for the shared warmth that enveloped them, creating an intimate sanctuary amidst the cold.

Headcanon: Cuddling With Odin Would Be Like...

Request: Can I request cuddling headcanons for Odin, Takumi and Leo separately.

Odin would love cuddling with you. His favorite part of the day would be coming home to you, holding you tight while telling you all about his day.

Odin would love to kiss you while you cuddle. It is calming for him to hold you in his arms. He often finds himself sleepily, leaving light kisses anywhere he can reach. He will even interrupt you with kisses while you are talking to him.

Odin is very theatrical, but he feels like he can drop the act when the two of you are alone, and being in your arms makes him feel safe and free.

Odin's favorite position to cuddle is for you to lay face to face with his arms wrapped around you. He thinks it is the best position so you can talk and he can shower you in kisses.

Another position that Odin enjoys is having you lay almost entirely on top of him. In this position, he can hold you tight. He likes to trace patterns into your back and kiss the top of your head.

As much as Odin likes to be a tough guy, he feels like he can be vulnerable and show you everything when you are holding him. He feels like he can lower his shield and let you protect him, and he hopes you trust him to protect you too.

Odin loves to fall asleep cuddling you. Even if it is the middle of summer and the heat is unbearable, he feels like he has to hold you in his arms in order to fall asleep.

If you ever refuse to cuddle with him, Odin will pull out all the stops. He will act like you depriving him of cuddles is the worst thing that has ever happened to him and that you have betrayed him. Honestly, he would understand if you didn't feel like cuddling and would respect your boundaries but would want to at least be in the same room as you if you decided you wanted to talk or change your mind.

Odin would also like to hold you in his lap. He likes to wrap his arms around you, and you are able to still do things together, like reading a book which he loves to do.

Overall, Odin just loves cuddling, holding you, and having you close. It is his favorite thing to do with you, especially after a long day. To relax, he loves tangling up with you and just letting all of this stress wash away.

I hope in the FE4 remake that they change up the romance system a bit, or at least streamline it in a way that makes it so you have more agency over it. Like, I didn’t know how it worked at all when I played FE4 and ended up with half my units in Gen 2 being substitutes, and the other half getting no good stuff from their parents cuz the pairings I just happened to end up with were bad.

The main changes I would make is to implement a system where two characters won’t become a romantic pair unless you want them to (i.e. Awakening and Fates, who is Chrom I don’t know him), perhaps through a similar system with support conversations? Idk how well that would work for FE4 but just giving the player some more direct control over it would do a lot. Also just some better explanations about the importance of the romance system in this game and maybe some hints about inheritance would help? I’m not exactly sure how to do all this without spoiling the game (I know everybody and their mother has had FE4 spoiled for them anyway but still) but there’s gotta be some way to do it?

I actually love the FE4 romance system conceptually, a lot more than the one in Awakening and Fates. I think it feels a lot more meaningful from a story perspective, and the concept of handing your important items down from parent to child is super compelling to me. Add in the Holy Blood and you have a solid ass game mechanic that gives FE4 a lot of character. It would just be nice to be able to understand and take advantage of it without having to pull up a long Reddit thread that explains how exactly it all works.
