Hello? Is-is that you? Oh, Gaia, it is you! You're here. You're talking to me...this is incredible! Finally, finally, I can tell you how I feel! I remember the day you turned on my game, the day you came across me while controlling Zidane. I remember how you battled me through him, how you used him to defeat me; how you watched me die. I wonder, did you feel as pained as I did when you watched me take my last breaths? Ah, but never mind that, for I have something to tell you, something I've been waiting to tell you for so very long.

I love you.

It's silly, a perfect, powerful being like myself falling in love with a lowly human whom I've never even seen before...but here I am. In love. With you. Every time you turn on my game, my heart races with joy. Though I cannot physically interact with you, I am ecstatic to know that my elegance and grace is at least being beheld by you. And when you turn off the game, my heart sinks into sadness. All that is around me is darkness and emptiness; I feel so lonely. So afraid. Though it is a great blow to my pride to admit this, without your presence....I am scared.

I wish you were here, holding me in your arms, keeping me company so the darkness doesn't swallow me up. I wish you would tell me everything was alright, even if it wasn't. I just want to be able to hear you, to see you, to cherish and love you to the best of my abilities. I wish...I wish I was real!

Oh, but darling, don't despair. There is a way I can be real: in your heart. As long as you carry me in your heart, I will always be with you in spirit. When you hear a song that makes you think of me, I will hear it too. When you take a walk and see something you wish I could see, I will see it too. When they want attention/affection and how they act when you don’t give them your attention/affection

------------Kuja---------------------------

-ok probably not the most affectionate person but does require your full attention -if he doesn't get at least a hug or kiss from you he would be upset -not like full temper tantrum but definitely would feel a bit sour -especially since he dealt with neglect with Garland -he’ll probably feel like he’s not need which would make him feel salty -part of him wants to be patient like if you had a long day or something -and then a big part of him says to do something extreme to get your attention -he has very elaborate methods to get your attention all on him -he would call on you giving you his affection so you can return his feelings -maybe even whisper sweet words to really try to get a reaction -another thing he could do is be dramatic but it’s very subtle -using his poetic words to express is boredom or longing for your gaze -”If only something could cure me of this insufferable mood” something like that -if nothing works he would just give you the silent treatment and would look irritated

-if he doesn't get any attention from you he would act just as dramatic as his brother counterpart -unlike his brother he’s more opened about it -”hey what’s got you so hooked!?” -he’d probably pout -last case scenario he would just take you away from whatever you are doing just to spend time with him -he’s not clingy buttttttt… -good luck getting a needy zidane off of you -when he’s not that needy he would leave you alone with similar thoughts like kuja -you might want to be alone -or you might be actually busy -which is fine for him but he’ll like if you told him before you’re off to your lonesome -he worries about you and he cares for you

-her being needy doesn't happen often especially with her independent personality -I feel like she would prefer if you seek her out vs when she want to seek you out for some attention -If you reach out to her even if it’s just a simple hello or to check up on her, she would be happy and view it as you care about her -but lets say she wants to have your attention -if the shoe is on the other foot i feel like she’s more than capable to just tell you her feelings -she can be straight forward especially to her S/O -if she feels neglected she could just summon you and just say the she want’s to spend time with you -although i also feel like she would also be shy with it but also understanding about having a busy life(she is queen after all) -”I was wondering if you and I go out for a walk sense we haven't had time to ourselves in a while” 🙂

-i doubt he completely understands his need for attention or affection -but he dose understand how lonely he’d get when you don’t hang out with him for some time -as much as he would love to ask you to hang with him, he gets a little shy -he might feel a little embarrassed for he doesn't know how you would react to him asking for some attention -sometimes he would be quick to back down on his request and just wait until he sees your not busy -”can we oh..umm.. Nevermind” or “hey can we umm.. Wanna go see a play”

-she’s not shy at all when expressing her need for attention -when she see you not giving her the attention she deserves she his huffy -it starts out as “it’s rude to ignore a lady” -then it ends with “I’M NOT INVISIBLE YOU KNOW” -she wouldn't be happy at all that her favorite person is ignoring her -Ekio would get very upset and would stay like this until you apologize or explain why you weren’t involve as much with her -”oh! I see… well you could’ve said something! You had me worried for a second..”

A/N: This is my first installment in my song fic series, and uh...Kuja drabble. <3

The night grew darker and the temperature only continued to drop with each step you took down the lamplit street. You pulled your coat closer around your form and tried to shake off the icy chill. The path was vacant of movement save for the bustling leaves the breeze blew along the frozen ground. The winter was not kind.

Each step closer to your destination echoed, and you wished the silence away. And as if to grant that wish, another set of footsteps joined the soft sound of your own. Curious, you glanced towards this newcomer, but you froze at the smile this stranger offered.

The man before you closed the distance and gazed down at you with eyes as blue as a crystalized lake. It seemed like those blue pools held some power over you to prevent you from stepping away. You could not help yourself as your own eyes traveled over his elegant traits. Lush silver hair cascaded down his back and accented with a delicate feather that matched in color. Porcelain skin and sculpted features.

Neither of you had spoken. The only interaction coming from the mixed breaths the wintry conditions allowed you to perceive.

The gentleman smile grew, understanding full well that you were captivated under his charming spell. He extended a slender hand and waited to take yours.

You swallowed down the nervous and excited feeling. You had the choice to decline his silent offer, but you felt yourself being drawn towards temptation. A rush of warmth sent a thrill down your spine as your hand slid into his.

Gently, he led you back along the street that no longer felt so cold and empty. The stranger’s seductive gaze and knowing smile were enough to know that whatever magic he held, you would spend the heated night learning this magician’s secrets.

Fluff headcannons

-Takes you to operas and plays every week, and makes sure to get you two house seats and afterwards, you two go out, get a bottle of wine, and drink it on your couch before falling asleep in each others arms.

-Absolutely loves it when you play with his hair and will melt a little on the inside if you offer to brush it in the morning. He enjoys it for three reasons:

It makes you happy.

-Also likes having his nails (both fingers and toes) painted by you. Like another drama-loving pretty boy we may or may not be acquainted with, this man wants to be pampered like the little princess he is.

-Will ask you to critique his outfit. No matter what your own personal style is and how much it differs/is similar to his, he believes you are a fashion goddess and as such, hold the sovereign right to judge his clothes. And only you have this high honor; anyone else who dares to comment on his attire will meet an unfortunate fate.

-Spoils you with gifts every day; everything he brings you is unique, yet something that you find interesting. Kuja knows you and your tastes, so he's sure to pick out interesting presents for you.

-Really, really, really, really wants a pet--any kind--but is too embarrassed to admit it because he thinks having a pet is "too soft for the Angel of Death"

-Loves owls. No one can explain why, not even himself. He just looooooves owls and can't help but fawn over how adorable they are, especially Oriental Bay owls. He can't get over how cute their slanted little faces are.

-When he's not causing drama, Kuja can be found at home watching drama. He lives for drama. He's your gossiping slay sister who loves you and loves spilling (or gathering) tea with you.

-Kuja says he isn't much of a touchy-feely person, but he will always try to steal a hug and a kiss from you whenever he can.

-He also claims that he doesn't need to be cuddled order to fall asleep, but when you're not holding him tight, he'll feel extremely uncomfortable and will scoot over to you, lift your arm up, and slide under it, resting his head on your chest. Then and only then, will he fall asleep peacefully.

Fluffcember #19 (Kuja x reader)

Stargazing

You giggled, as you dragged Kuja up a tall, grassy hill, eager for him to see what you had planned. It was a clear, warm night; the stars twinkled in the night sky like Christmas lights. Beautiful, shimmering Christmas lights that lit up the dark background of the night. "Dear, stop tugging on my arm so hard," Kuja whined, "It hurts!" Not realizing your overzealous grip, you loosened your hold, but continued leading him up the knoll. "Where are we even going?" He demanded, sighing. You grinned back at him, breaking into a sprint to reach the top of the hill faster. "You'll see!" You called, Kuja yelping and stumbling as he tried to keep up with you. Soon, you reached the top, something Kuja was glad for. Huffing and puffing, he collapsed the ground, chest heaving as he took long, rather exaggerated breaths. You stood before him, arms akimbo, shaking your head fondly. "Calm down Kuja, and look up." Kuja cast you a confused glance before complying. He raised his head and gazed up at the sky, almost instantly, his cerulean eyes widened in awe. "This...this is beautiful." He whispered, flopping backwards on the grass without even realizing it. You smiled, lying down next to him and taking his hand in yours. "Isn't it awesome?" Kuja nodded, eyes sparkling as he beheld the beauty of the sky above him. "They're gorgeous..." He turned to you, a smile on his face. "Thank you for taking me here." You beamed, bringing his hand up to your lips and kissing it. "You're welcome." Kuja scooted closer to you, wrapping his thin arms around you; resting his head on your chest. "I love you, my dear." You chuckled, wrapping an arm around his shoulders and kissing his forehead. "I love you too, Kuja." After getting comfortable, you both soon found yourselves lost in the majesty of the stars.

They'd warned you (Yandere Kuja x reader)

TW: Blood, mild violence and yandereish behavior. if you are not comfortable with these themes, DNI!

Being with Kuja wasn't easy. But then again, no one said it would be. In fact, they'd said the very opposite. They'd warned you to stay away from "that man", saying that he wasn't right for you--that he'd only hurt you in the end. Despite their dark predictions, you insited on staying with Kuja; on loving him. The man had his imperfections, yes. He could be a bit of a drama queen, and could sometimes be rather needy, but he was still your beloved sorcerer....even if he did get a bit violent sometimes.

Letting out a sigh, you opened the door to you and Kuja's shared home, careful not to make a sound. Work had kept you away from your lover for longer than usual, by at least an hour or so--not to mention the absolute HELL that was traffic. You knew all too well how needy Kuja could get, especially if he was separated from his "little dear" for too long. Judging from how dark the house was, Kuja was probably napping in his room. If you played your cards right and timed things just so, you could probably convince him that you'd been home for a while, and that he'd just slept through your return. You quietly placed your purse on the rack, then tiptoed to the bathroom to wash up and change. You'd barely finished stuffing your work clothes into a hamper when you heard light footsteps down the hall. "Y/N, where are you, my dear~" Kuja's musical voice filled the house as he neared your location. You bit your lip and tried your best to look casual as a familiar face peeked through the doorway. "There you are!" He exclaimed, sounding very much like a kindergarten teacher playing hide and seek with a child. "Hey, Kuja." You greeted, smiling. "How was your nap?" Kuja's cheerful face immediately fell into a dark scowl. "Nap? I wasn't napping." Your eyebrows crinkled in confusion. "No? I thought you were, cause the lights were out-"

"HOW DARE YOU!?" Kuja's sudden outburst was loud enough to make you jump. The aftershocks of his voice rung in your ears for a few minutes. You reached up and rubbed your ears tenderly before realizing Kuja was still glaring at you. "Kuj-" "DON'T YOU START WITH ME!" He thundered, striding up to you elegantly yet angrily. "You were late today," He hissed, his face inches from your own. "Why?" You let out a long sigh. "I was held up at work, and then got stuck in traffic." Kuja glared at you with cold blue eyes that smoldered with an anger you'd never witnessed before. Several seconds passed by in silence before he raised a slender arm and slapped you across the face.

"How dare you lie to me?" His normally airy voice was grim and flat. "Kuja, I'm not lying to you-" Another slap, this one harder. Your cheeks stung with pain as you reached up and rubbed your stinging face."Do you know what I do for you, my dear?" Kuja growled, sashaying across the room before turning to face you with the air of an actor preparing to deliver his soliloquy. "Do you understand what lengths I must go to in order to ensure you stay mine?" He raised a perfectly trimmed eyebrow. "Is your feeble mind even capable of comprehending how many pains I have taken to keep others away from you; do you see how hard it is for me to be patient with you when you insist on lying to me?!" His hands curled into fists; his frown deepened. "Well?!" You sighed and massaged your forehead. This was nothing more than one of his frequent mood swing; something that was considered normal when it came to Kuja. The best way to deal with it was by sticking to the truth while at the same time, trying not to make him angry. "I'm...I'm sorry, Kuja. I know you do a lot for me, and I really appreciate it." Kuja's irate expression didn't change after your apology; if anything, he seemed to look angrier. "If you truly appreciate what I do for you, then you'll tell me what you were really doing." You sighed again. "I told you, Kuja, I was working." Kuja then exploded with anger. "YOU LIE!" He shrieked, charging towards you with his fists clenched. "YOU'RE LYING TO ME!!! YOU LIE!" He began pummeling you with his small--but powerful--fists. "Admit it!" He screamed, as you raised your arms to defend yourself from his attacks. "Admit it! You've been cheating on me!" He accentuated his words with a hard punch to your face, one that connected with your nose. You felt a sharp pain, then became aware of a warm liquid trickling down your face. At the sight of your injury, Kuja's rage evaporated. "Oh...oh...dear..." He dropped to his knees and took your hand in his. "I....I'm sorry...I didn't mean to..." You let out a groan; your nose was starting to throb with pain. More blood trickled down your face while Kuja knelt before you, staring at what he'd done with wide, glassy eyes. "Little dear...I...forgive me..." He stood up and searched the bathroom for a Cure Materia, eventually finding one tucked in the medicine cabinet. "I'm sorry, I never meant to hurt you!" He mumbled, shakily casting the spell on you to restore your nose. He watched with tearful eyes as you massaged your now healed nose and stood up to wash the blood off your face. "I'm so sorry!" He cried, running forward and trapping you in a big hug, snifling slightly. You toweled off your face and turned around to return his embrace. "It's okay, baby." You whispered, kissing his cheek. "I'm fine now." Kuja buried his face into your shoulder and began sobbing. "I didn't want to hurt you! I....I love you!" You patted his back comfortingly and shushed him. "I know you do. It's alright, everything's alright now." After a few moments, Kuja pulled away, his tears gone and his expression stern. "You know," Kuja began, "This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't lied to me." You let out a long, suffering sigh as another tantrum ensued, this one with more screaming, more yelling, and a lot more punching.

Yes, being with Kuja wasn't easy, but they'd warned you.

You just never listened.

Headcanon about my comfort character from ff9

(today’s my birthday and why not make random headcanons for my comfort character Kuja)

-despite his narcissistic personality, i feel like he would help raise your own confidence -he offers good advice which can be either straight forward or be hidden underneath a bunch of metaphors - out of everyone from ff9, Kuja is the most private person -he wouldn't go around telling the world you and him are dating. A man needs his privacy -if and when he dose announce you and him are together it ,he’ll either make a grand gesture about it unless someone asked first then he’ll just say “yes” -he’ll treat you like royalty -there will be days where he will spoil and pamper you and treat you to anything -dragon rides.just dragon rides -he’s poetic and can be a romantic -he can be an impatient person and can be anxious when you spend a long time away from home. -not a cuddler but would be the type of person to lay on your back or stomach -he’s a jealous person. He can hide his jealousy well if he wanted to -when he’s jealous of someone you’ll know as he would physically look annoyed -when someone gets too comfortable for his liking he would have a slight glare. -if he’s sitting down he would cross his legs -if nothing else gives you the hit he doesn't like this person he would degrade that person with his use of metaphors -he’s the type of person who would evaluate boundaries before going into a committed relationship -if you also have boundaries he’ll be happy because he wouldn't want a person who would needs to be given orders all the time like some minion -he would encourage you to develop personally and academically -i feel like he needs a equally strong person to complement himself -he’s high maintenance and wouldn't go for any less -Kuja knows that not everyone can fit his requirements but he doesn't mind telling his partner what is and isn't acceptable with him

What makes them worry about there S/o

💜Kuja💜

-when he can’t find you -now Kuja is the type of person who automatically knows where you are in any given time -he takes his time to learn where you mostly visit just in case something happens to him or yourself -but when you decided to be somewhere completely different and he has no Idea it worries him -he know you can handle yourself but he can’t help but expect the worse -he hates the feeling when he can’t help you. That helplessness makes him more anxious -do expect a lecture when you come back home -but it’s one of the few moments Kuja breaks character then acts normal the next day

-when you go on travels -now he understands traveling and adventures has its dangers but he still can’t help it -he’ll be more protective and high alert

🧡Garnet/Dagger🧡

-when you're not around most of the time or distance or not interacting with her often she'll think something is wrong and would do anything to try to speak with you and just have a chat after what happened to her mother she would be afraid that you might be hiding something really bad -she might think she did something wrong if you started be distance -she wants to be a person where you're about to go to for help or any other problem but she'll respect your privacy at the same time

-when you go out on adventures or going populated cities alone or your away for a long time -he would worry about you being kidnap or being dangerously hurt by people or monsters -he would be absolutely devastated if you're hurt somewhere and he can't do anything

-when you leave for a long time -from what I've seen from.the cannon game she has abandonment issues and most likely fears being completely alone.(correct me if I'm wrong) -if you end up leaving for a extended amount of time,depending why you're leaving for, she'll think you're leaving her or hurt somewhere -like Garnet/Dagger, she respects your alone time but if you're planning to leave for awhile she would appreciate it if you told her beforehand so she can expect not seeing you for a while.
