Das & Ofi for Mermay 2022 AU

Das is based on an oarfish and probably think of Ofi as strange fish or seal. Figured out he's actually touch starved and followed this strange seal to shallow water.

Eventually becomes a concern for the local marine researchers and they ended up taking him to their facility to treat him for whatever ailment he got.

Swap!Zebruh is a burgundy blood whose ultimate dream is getting pampered by a highblood as his sugar lusus. As usual @theartisticapparition provided me with cursed material of this one dude. Hope you're happy Ivan.

Zebruh keeps "pursuing" (bothering) Ofelia, and if it's not enough, he bothers her friends too. Especially Eti. It makes Ofi really mad at him.

He's also still composing music in this universe. Sadly his skill doesn't get better at all and he's still really proud about it to the point of making songs with obvious references and also inappropriate lyrics for his unfortunate victims (Ofi & Eti). Upcoming lawsuits from Teal Yleeda. Just stop dude.

At first Ofi keeps avoiding him, but like, this dude so persistent? They eventually get into kismesissitude to the disdain of her peers. The thing here is that Ofi's very careful with how she presents herself and mostly keeping up a front to help the lowbloods she sheltered while this dude's just... being unapologetically himself? And just genuinely horrible??

He's the first lowblood Ofi met that doesn't kick up her protective instinct. In fact, he's the first lowblood she wanted to kick. This challenges her own principle because yeah, not all lowbloods actually need her help or even worth her help. It helps her to release her stress in a less drastic way. No need to make a surprise appearance in muscle theater anymore girl.

As for Zebruh, despite technically dating a highblood, the way she treated them is not what he imagined at all. She will perpetually calling him on his bullshit, refusing to pamper him or even punish him in the sexy way. She even refuses to spend any unnecessary cents for him. It doesn't sit right with him and his delusional views as she keep forcefully dragging him to reality, because real people doesn't act like the stereotypes. The Ofelia Asvini she showed him is her real self, and if he couldn't deal with it he could always leave. Unfortunately, he stays.

Their relationship is pretty much like the OG one but with Ofi in the position of power from the get go. She tried to be reasonable with him though, but god does he make it difficult.
