All Aerwyn Gaelock ever wanted was to carve out her own legacy and honor her father’s esteemed name.
Born to a chivalrous battlemage of the King’s Guard and the austere daughter of an Alinor noble, Aerwyn enjoyed a life of comfort and privilege. When her father retired and relocated the family to Vulkhel Guard shortly after Aerwyn’s birth, she found herself in a nurturing environment ripe for growth.
From an early age, Aerwyn demonstrated a fervent dedication to following in her father's footsteps. In Vulkhel Guard, Aerwyn thrived, immersing herself in the activities of the Fighters and Mages Guilds, honing her skills with unwavering determination. Devoted to Stendarr, like her father, Aerwyn aspired to become a battlemage, eager to serve the Aldmeri Dominion under Queen Ayrenn’s reign. While her father beamed with pride, Aerwyn's mother fretted over her daughter's safety and the implications of the new alliance.
Amidst the promise of Aerwyn’s aspirations, ominous shadows loomed over the Dominion. As Queen Ayrenn prepared to ascend to the throne, the tensions within the alliance escalated. The Veiled Heritance, a growing threat, cast a shadow of uncertainty over the realm. Despite his retirement, Aerwyn's father worked tirelessly to maintain peace—a mission that would ultimately cost him his life.
With her father's passing, Aerwyn and her mother found themselves adrift in a sea of grief and disillusionment. While Aerwyn's convictions remained steadfast, her mother's resentment towards Queen Ayrenn and the Dominion deepened, exacerbating the chasm between them.
As Aerwyn prepared to enlist in the Dominion army, fate dealt her a startling revelation—her mother had aligned herself with the very organization that had wrought havoc upon their lives. Blindsided by this betrayal, Aerwyn grappled with conflicting loyalties, torn between her allegiance to the Dominion and her fractured family ties.
Amidst the swirling currents of political intrigue and personal turmoil, Aerwyn's journey would lead her down a path fraught with peril and self-discovery.
