RESIDENT EVIL 2: LIVE ACTION FAN CAST
SYDNEY SWEENEY as CLAIRE REDFIELD
She physically suits the role (just add some hair dye and we’ll be golden), and she’s proven her acting to be absolutely phenomenal. I would love to see her in an action/horror role like resident evil (Sydney as a badass motorcycle chick? Yes PLEASE). Plus she actually looks closer to Claire’s age (19 years old), unlike Kaya Scodelario, who was around 28 and playing a 19 year old, like tf?
LUCKY BLUE SMITH as LEON KENNEDY
This one was a lot harder seeing as how Leon’s looks are one of his most iconic aspects (the baby blue eyes and the emo hair). It’s a shame that Eduart Badaluta doesn’t act. Jensen Ackles also would’ve been an amazing choice if he wasn’t too old to play a 21 year old. But after some digging, I found Lucky Blue Smith! And just to be sure, I photoshopped him into to make sure he suited the look too!
MCKENNA GRACE as SHERRY BIRKIN
Now this is one I don’t need to explain, nor will I take any arguments on this. Just look at their comparisons, then look at Mckenna’s talent. End of story.
HO-YEON JUNG or ANGELABABY as ADA WONG
For Ada, my initial idea was Ho-Yeon Jung because she just has that badass/sexy/spy look to her. She looks like she would screw me over but in a way that would leave me still in love with her (looks at Leon). Also, her in Squid Games is just *chefs kiss*, she’s fucking amazing and her talent is through the roof! But I figured this would be disrespectful to Ada’s Chinese heritage since Ho-Yeon is South Korean. So after much digging I found Angelababy, who is the closest to the Ada image that I could find. While I still prefer Ho-Yeon, Angelababy is a way to respect Ada’s Chinese roots.
DON CHEADLE or COLMAN DOMINGO as MARVIN BRANAGH
Don is an under-utilised actor in my opinion, and after seeing his work in the MCU I would love to see him in more big projects. I think he could really play out Marvin’s character extremely well, and he was my first thought for his casting.
Colman was in Fear the Walking Dead for starters, and I love what I’ve seen of him in Euphoria so far. I can really picture him in this role both aesthetically and character wise. He looks quite like Marvin in this picture (on the right to Marvin) that I actually did a double check on whether he did the model for him.
GILLIAN ANDERSON as ANNETTE BIRKIN
No explanation needed. She fits both aesthetically and talent wise, especially if you’ve seen her in The Great or Sex Education.
OWEN WILSON as WILLIAM BIRKIN
Not that Owens face would be utilised much since William kinda becomes an unrecognisable monster, but Owen fits both aesthetically and he’s a talented actor.

ABS-CBN: Sandiganbayan dismisses ill-gotten wealth case vs alleged Marcos dummies
In the 18-page Resolution, the anti-graft court’s Fourth Division said the plaintiff failed to prove the allegations against Olympio Bermudez, Geronimo Velasco, and Emilio Yap.
The case was filed in 1987 by the Presidential Commission on Good Governance (PCGG) involving properties belonging to the Bataan Shipyard and Engineering Company, Inc. (BASECO) and its subsidiaries.
“The plaintiff Republic of the Philippines only presented two witnesses, Maria Lourdes Magno and Antonio Rolando Eduarte, who are mere records custodians in the PCGG and BASECO, respectively,” the Resolution read.
"Magno and Eduarte both testified that they have no personal knowledge as to the contents, preparation, execution, and issuance of the documents subject of their respective testimonies. Clearly, their testimonies are insufficient to prove the charges in the Amended Complaint,” it added.
Magno is the chief administrative officer of the PCGG’s Library and Records Division, while Eduarte is the administrative officer of BASECO.
The Court had also previously denied the admission of majority of the plaintiff’s exhibits, which supposedly did not comply with the Original Document Rule since these were only photocopies.
The other documents, though admitted, were not able to prove the charges.
The Resolution was penned by Fourth Division Chairperson Associate Justice Michael Frederick Musngi, and concurred in by Associate Justices Lorifel Pahimna and Maria Theresa Mendoza-Arcega.

Some questionable actions of Augustijn Lodewijk Theodoor Eduart Reinier in no particular order
I feel like it's very common for people to go "my oc is such a disaster, they're such a mess, they're such a shithead" and then that oc never does anything, so here's my essay on why Gussy is an asshole until the main plot, where he finally starts understanding what's wrong with him and what to do about it
Was a pickpocket to pay for his drug habit through high school and college, hated both the habit and the stealing but unfortunately, his addiction didn't care what he felt about the whole thing
Similarly, would befriend fellow rich people in Harvard, go to their house parties, and nick valuables to pawn. Regardless how you feel about Harvard people, he was still using them, forming emotional bonds based on lies so he could steal their shit. They thought he was a friend to confide in, and he was betraying that trust.
Married his childhood friend Lotte when he returned from China. Lotte had always loved him and had just left an abusive marriage, and he wanted to feel better about himself, so he married her to be the husband she deserved. Problem; he's gay. And never actually loved her like that.
Failed to understand why she was so upset when she found out. He wasn't cheating, and he was taking care of her and treating her very well. Perfect husband, if not for the lying and using her. And he didn't get that being lied to like that is traumatizing and humiliating
Accepted a promotion in the military that he really didn't deserve, that was due to go to Isadora, actually. Failed to realize why she was upset. This caused a schism between them but while Isadora got over it the promotion itself, she never got over that he didn't get why that was a problem
Was generally terrible to his stepmother, largely out of unresolved trauma with his biological mother, who was severely mentally ill after her own Catholic upbringing.
Joined the military to redeem himself, thinking that the military was A Good Thing, full of Honor and Glory. Bad start dude
Ended up committing war crimes, being another cog in the war industry. Such crimes include; hostage taking, attacking civilians, firing upon medics, killing a surrendered combatant, and pillaging. All done under orders. Cool reason, still FUCKING AWFUL.
Again, the cannibal thing. Justifiable, sure, I guess, but still Oh Good God.
Various actions under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol, such as General Nuisancery, the aforementioned theft, paranoid aggression, trespassing and destruction of private property, and multiple accounts of harassing wildlife over rights to particularly bountiful dumpsters.
Slept with people morally questionable to sleep with. Yknow. Cops. Homophobes. People who you should look at and go "nope, not doing anything with that"
Would give sexual favors in exchange for food. Understandable? Sure. But at some point it's prostitution, and that's fine, but that exchange rate is fucked. A BJ is not equivalent to a Big Mac, large fry, and fountain drink. You're underselling yourself
Pushed his religion onto other people...not trying to convert, just bringing up God and such frequently, usually when its not the fucking time or not the person to talk religion with.
Have said before, read a lot of classic lit and poetry and shit like Protestant musing on the human condition. Now he talks like Victor Fucking Frankenstein, and he intentionally brings up obscure references or concepts, hoping that he gets to explain it to the other person. Maybe the worst thing about him. Wretched.
