I know some people are upset that Din won't have the Darksaber moving forward and are saying that he seems unimportant in his own show. But Bo-Katan's rise back to leading the Mandalorians is all because of Din. And it happened in the most Din way possible??

Like, he accidentally got her to bathe in the Living Waters. He accidentally caused her to see the Mythosaur. He got his ass caught by the cyborg creature thing that allowed her to win back the Darksaber. He accidentally renews her faith in the Way. He brings her back to his covert and she accidentally joins them. Then because of all that, the Armorer thinks she is THE ONE.

Hilarious. It's all because of him. Very Din.

Another (late) Barbie Redraw with the Clan of Three.

This is how I picture these three to be: Din and Grogu dragging Bo-Katan to their antics. This is just like the episode The Mines of Mandalore.

And I imagine that Din and Grogu would be proud of the damage/chaos they brought to the place while Bo-Katan would want the complete opposite but still chooses to keep up with the two.

Needless to say, I ship DinxBo.

So, I keep seeing posts about Din Djarin, and I've come to the conclusion that he is just the most innately ship-able character in Star Wars.

It's like he was designed for it. He is constantly ambling into a new town, proclaiming, "I'm just a mercenary, I'll do the job, but, by gosh, I'm only in it for the cash, grumble grumble." Five minutes later, he's sworn his gun, gratis, to the nearest person trying to save their town/rebuild their culture/establish their virtu-ish criminal empire.

I know this pattern wasn't actually employed for shipping. It's emergent from Mando being based on wandering gunslinger/ronin serial adventure stories.

But golly, it is a dynamic that always has some heat to it. Like, "My work here is done; the road calls me." OK, but what if, before your inevitable parting, you and Sheriff Cobb Vanth kissed? Hmm, what then?
