Like how Don Merton saved the Black Robin or Richard Henry who pioneered our modern conservation methods. . This large female tusked wētā is amongst the biggest and heaviest insects in the world. Found it deep in the bush on the West Coast. @milty.coultas.mtb has some fun observing it before it but down hard into the glove.
