I made this video edit of another watercolor painting; Based on Bobby Issac's record setting drive down the Bonneville Salt Flats with the soon to be retired Dodge Daytona Charger.

Dodge Charger Daytona R/T 4-door, 2025. Using the same 121-inch wheelbase as the coupe, the new saloon version of the Charger launches with same same electric and ICE options as the coupe.

The Daytona used a charger 500 that were all flush back glass the superbird was a road runner with a dodge cornet hood and fenders

Dodge unveiled a fully electric version of its Charger muscle car earlier today. The Charger is not quite ready to ditch internal combustion entirely—variants with twin-turbo V6 engines under the hood are on the way, too, but none will have the same performance as the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack, which boasts an electric powertrain with 670 hp (500 kW) and a quarter-mile time of just 11.5 seconds...

but of course you gotta have big-balls mode:

...The electric muscle car promises to sound louder than most other EVs, too, due to something Dodge is calling the "Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust," which combines chambers and speakers under the car, plus some actual pipes, to create the car's soundtrack. Don't worry, introverts—there's also a "stealth mode," which should be quieter.

...at least you can turn it off

September of 1971 NASCAR Driver Bobby Isaac made history setting several speed records at the famed Bonneville Salt Flats. In the iconic 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona after the car was banned from NASCAR in 1971, Isaac's car owner Nord Krauskopf with help of USAC decided to give the car a fitting send off. Bobby Isaac and his pit crew led by legendry Crew Chief Harry Hyde set 28 speed records several of which still stand today.

Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Concept, 2022. A prototype for an electric muscle car of the future with styling that references the second generation Charger of 1968. It uses a new 800 volt electric drivetrain called Banshee that drives all 4 wheels and provides performance to exceed the SRT Hellcat engine. The drivetrain also offers eRupt multi-speed transmission with electro-mechanical shifting and a Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system. The concept could preview a production model for 2024
