lots of pain and doctor visits this month (i say as if that's different from any other month) but i'm still fighting lets get into it

DRAWING AGAIN!!!! finished two pieces and started a third one . i'm fighting tooth and nail to do it for fun again and not get bogged down in the sharing/posting/marketing aspect . i wanna make prints but it's soul crushing trying to figure out how

hypothetical nonsense podcast clips. the hosts are like 19 year old tiktokers but i randomly watched this clip and keep seeing them algorithmically now and sometimes they r soooo funny . i've never listened to a whole episode

hand to hand combat with my brain creatures but it's less us fighting and more me slowly approaching a cornered animal with a blanket and a treat . i'm trying to allow them to name themselves but one of them is so deeply terrified of judgement and misunderstanding she wouldn't even let me see her for awhile. now she allows me to imagine her as liquid in a pool, emphasizing that there is no meaning to her container, even if she were in a cup instead of the pool she would still be the same. anyway

i keep catching myself scrolling instagram reels and it's infuriating bc i used to barely touch that stupid app. the entertainment w it is already lulling so i'll free myself soon
