The Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been voted the Professional Footballers’ Association’s men’s player of the year, with Chelsea’s Sam Kerr collecting the women’s award.
The Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden retained the PFA young player of the year award, with the club’s forward Lauren Hemp named the women’s best young player for the third consecutive season.
Salah topped the poll, which was voted for by PFA members, ahead of Kevin De Bruyne, who had won for the previous two years and was an integral part of the City team that beat Liverpool to the Premier League title by one point.
The Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo and the Tottenham striker Harry Kane had also made the shortlist, along with Salah’s Liverpool teammates Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mané.

The 2021-22 PFA Premier League Team of the Year
This is Salah’s second PFA player of the year trophy after he previously won in 2018. This season he helped Jürgen Klopp’s side to win the Carabao and FA Cups, and to reach the Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.
The Egypt international Salah, who finished as the Premier League’s joint top scorer alongside Tottenham’s Son Heung-min with 23 goals, was announced as the PFA men’s player of the year at a virtual ceremony on Thursdayyesterday.
“It’s a great honour to win a trophy, individual or collective, and this one is big, so very happy and very proud of that,” said Salah, who was also voted the men’s footballer of the year by the Footballer Writers’ Association.
“This one is a really good one to win, especially because it’s voted by players. It shows you that you’ve worked really hard and you get what you worked for. I have my room with trophies in a cabinet and I made sure that I had another space for one more. I always keep space and just try to imagine that the trophies are going to come.”

The PFA Young Players of the Year, Phil Foden (Top) and Lauren Hemp, both of Manchester City (Bottom).
Kerr scored 20 goals for Chelsea to be top scorer in the FA Women’s Super League, helping Emma Hayes’s team win the domestic double after beating Manchester City in the FA Cup final. “It’s a massive honour whenever you’re voted by your peers. I think that’s the highest honour as a player, so it’s an amazing feeling,” said Kerr, who was also named the FWA’s women’s footballer of the year.
Arsenal’s Dutch forward Vivianne Miedema and her Gunners teammate Kim Little were also on the PFA shortlist along with Manchester City’s Alex Greenwood and Hemp as well as Chelsea’s Pernille Harder.
Foden, 22, topped an all-England shortlist on the men’s young player award. The Arsenal midfield duo Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe, Conor Gallagher, who spent the season on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea, the Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey and the Chelsea full-back Reece James were also nominated.
“I’m really honoured, to be honest, especially to win it back-to-back, it shows that I’ve come a long way this year with the consistency of my game,” Foden said. “Hopefully I can win the main award in the future, but it’s all about taking small steps and improving.”
Hemp, meanwhile, is the first person to win the PFA young player of the year award four times. The Chelsea forward Lauren James, Arsenal’s Norwegian star Frida Maanum, the Tottenham striker Jessica Naz, the Manchester United forward Ella Toone and the Brighton defender Maya Le Tissier made up the rest of the shortlist.

The One & Only Mohammad Salah
“It’s an honour to get this again. I think especially for it to be voted for by players that I’ve played against and come up against,” said the 21-year-old Hemp. “I look to many of them as role models as well so it’s an honour to be picked from them. I’m going to keep working hard to make sure that I continue on the right path.”
The 2022 PFA merit award saw two former England managers honoured, with Roy Hodgson and Hope Powell acknowledged for their outstanding contributions to football.
“I never won any trophies as a player unfortunately, so it is nice to be recognised by fellow professionals. It will have pride of place,” said Hodgson, 74, who left his role with Watford at the end of the season having taken over in January.
Powell, who is the Brighton women’s manager, added: “I feel lucky and blessed to be in the game after many years.”

United 3-2 Atlanta.
Hi - for reasons that I can no longer remember, I decided to watch this one on the big screen at the Vue Cinema in Bolton. I therefore follow in the tradition of my much esteemed football correspondent in submitting a “match review”.
As I travelled to Bolton, my mind posed the question: which United would turn up tonight? It is this level of sheer unpredictable inconsistency that has blighted Ole’s managerial reign. The poor United has predominated in recent weeks, and I wondered if his career could stand another bad performance. Little was I to know, but tonight we had a fairly new phenomenon - the worst and the best United, in two distinct halves.
The story of the match is: an average first half. On the whole United didn’t play as badly as the pundits said. Fair enough, there seemed to be a bit of sulking, some reluctance to work, some blaming of colleagues, and as usual, Ole seemed to have picked the wrong team. On the other hand, they missed a hat full of chances, and could easily have gone in 3-2 or 4-2 ahead. As it was, two shocking pieces of defending accounted for the 0-2 deficit.
The second half couldn’t have been more different. The team came out visibly more determined, the crowd appreciated it, and the Stretford End verily sucked goals in, and as per the script, Ronaldo got the winner with 9 minutes left. It wasn’t really “Fergie Time” then, but over the 90 minutes a deserved win, I thought.
It would be reasonably true to say that this was a very important match for Solskjaer. For the entirety of his managerial reign - close to three years now - he has veered between “being sacked in the morning” to pulling some amazing results out of the bag and getting a reprieve. This was definitely one of those. I think that each “getting sacked in the morning” episode gets worse. Sure, he recovers, but when the bad form settles in again, the grumbling gets worse and louder, to the extent that it’s now extremely rare to find a single fan on social media who doesn’t want him out. I think he’s been very lucky. If he hadn’t been following the disastrous reign of Mourinho, and if he hadn’t been such a club legend as a player, I don’t think he’d have lasted even half the time that he already has done. It’s pretty obvious to anyone who can see, that he’s just not in the premier league of coaches - maybe not even in the championship. I certainly wonder what Moyes thinks of this situation: not only is he a far superior coach, but he didn’t have anything like the money to spend or the wealth of talent at his disposal. I think it is much tougher this season for Solskjaer simply because he has Ronaldo and other big name signings. You can perhaps get away with mediocrity when your squad is under talented, but when you have the likes of Ronaldo to pick from, it is nowhere near as easy to get away with such rubbish.
What WAS wrong, without a shadow of a doubt, was hopeless defending. It’s hard to believe that we have half of England’s defence, and the other two are international players, but whenever they play for United, they seem to become totally incapable of doing even the basic stuff - and for that, the manager must take a hefty bit of responsibility.
My solution?? Not easy. I don’t think Solskjaer is going anywhere. He quite obviously needs help with his tactics, from an experienced, competent manager. My favourite football pundit will laugh out loud and send me a list of a hundred reasons why I am wrong, but I will say it anyway: Steve Bruce has just left Newcastle. Not only is he a United legend, steeped in the culture and history of the club, but he is one of our most legendary defenders. I think they could do much worse than approach him with an offer to become assistant manager, preferably with an emphasis on defensive coaching. Of course, he’s now got 1,000 games under his belt as a fully fledged manager, so I’m not sure he’d want to be an assistant - but there’s nothing wrong with asking, and to be honest, it could hardly be worse than what we’ve already got.
Well, what’s next? United are at home to Liverpool on Sunday. The form of the two teams could hardly be different. I am very much looking forward to meeting my friend and having a couple of pints, but I’m dreading the football. My friend thinks Liverpool will put 3 past us. I disagree: I think they will get at least 4.
Bye.

Football manager 2020 gameplay
We're returned at the Stadio Olimpico for any other Roma wonderkid. Midfielder Alessio Riccardi has been on the periphery of the Roma first-team, making his debut in a Coppa Italia fit on the age of simply 17. Riccardi has been a stalwart for the Italy U19's given that making his debut on the start of 2018.
Riccardi is not anywhere close to his teammate Nicolo Zaniolo's stature, together with his fee contemplated in that. Riccardi's price of €583k suggests how raw he is at the begin of the sport. However, if proven the proper quantity of love, he ought to develop into a regular Italian international.
You may be amazed to peer a Red Bull Salzburg player that is not Erling Haaland in this list, however Dominik Szoboszlai just gets the nod in advance of him. football manager 2020 free The Hungarian midfielder has been a first-group ordinary on account that he became sixteen years-vintage, firstly for Liefering and then for Salzburg. He become even known as up with the aid of Hungary as a sixteen 12 months-old, even though he simplest were given his first cap at 18.
Tumblr media
Szoboszlai is worth €11.8m, which receives you a participant with 3 big name ability from the soar. Couple that together with his capacity ability of four-and-a-1/2 stars, and Szoboszlai can be the man to satiate your destiny playmaking wishes.
Again, we couldn't do that list without including a couple of Ajax player. Ryan Gravenberch is the youngest player to play for the Ajax first-crew, beating a document held with the aid of Clarence Seedorf. football manager 2020 free He's because reverted back to Ajax's reserve aspect, Jong Ajax, however his skills is there for all to see. In 2018, he received the Abdelhak Nouri award for Ajax's 'Talent of the Future'.
Gravenberch has the potential to be certainly one of the sport's fine players, his capacity simplest passed with the aid of likes of Vinicius Junior, Gianluigi Donnarumma and previous Ajax teammate, Matthijs de Ligt. Gravenberch is only worth €1.1m, yet any other capacity bargain from Europe's principal football academy.
This listing wouldn't be entire without unearthing an attacking gem plying their trade at FC Porto. The guy in query, Fabio Silva. Silva became the youngest player in Porto's records when he got here on towards Gil Vicente in August 2019, and has already scored his first league goal for the club. The attacker has pedigree too, his father Jorge received the league with Boavista in 2001.
Silva starts offevolved the game with a value of €1.6m. Although it is hard to recognise whether or not he's going to be Pauleta or Helder Postiga, Cristiano Ronaldo or Hugo Almeida, but that represents an absolute bargain.
The following pointers and tricks have proved successful through the years, however they don’t guarantee success, even in case you do song the player season after season.

unpopular opinion: ronaldo’s a big bitch.
before i begin, i want everyone to know that i’m saying this with all my hatred for the man put aside so do not claim this is in any way biased.
i watched a few rm matches last season and every time i saw ronaldo, i was thoroughly unimpressed. the man can play, obviously, but his form is nowhere near what people are describing it as. i’m no footie expert, but you cannot tell me that he’s been regressing as a player.
asides from that, he has the absolute worst mentality ever! he’s selfish, arrogant and he throws fucking tantrums if he doesn’t score! i don’t know how he is off the pitch, and quite honestly, i don’t care; i’m here to see him play, nothing else.
as i was saying, these are all conclusions i came to LAST SEASON. when i heard he was linked with my number one club, i obviously didn’t want it to be true because no matter how good he is on the pitch (i haven’t seen much of that yet, his brace was the work of luck & emre can), i don’t appreciate people with such a bad attitude when playing coming into my family, juve’s family.
but he did get signed anyways because our management just can’t pass a chance like this up (costing us our angel higuaín and yes, i’m still 200% pissed about it). i was convinced for a while that okay, he’s here to help us win the ucl, it can’t be that bad. we’ve made a lot of sacrifices trying to win this trophy that we haven’t seen in years, maybe even achieve a treble, and thus have had to make hard choices like giving up our very own juve-born marchisio as much as we have made good sales like getting rid of sturaro (FINALLY).
but then the season started. the previous three matches in which ronaldo DID NOT score, i saw him:
act like a baby when he missed.
act like a baby when someone else scored a goal he couldn’t.
act like he was NOT a baby after remembering that there are cameras around him and desperately needing to prove reporters wrong about him getting angry when others score (i saw him punching the goalpost when mario scored after cris’ horrible mistake).
act like he’s some hotshot when he literally tripped over his feet and missed several easy shots.
act selfish as fuck and allow no others a proper chance.
i’m not saying he’s a horrible player, on the contrary. he’s created chances, he’s kept up well with our pace considering his age, etc. he finally scored, and that should be amazing especially since the ucl is coming up, right? here’s what happened today:
basically everyone was passing to him so he can Score And Shut Up.
he scored his first goal, woohoo! but then he tried hogging the ball to score again.
another goal, fantastic! he should be satisfied by now, but nope. he tried to force the hattrick, being a selfish prick to do so.
whenever he missed a chance, he’d start yelling.
kept pressing for a pen, and while that isn’t entirely wrong, you have to stop at some point.
what i’m trying to say is, i don’t really appreciate cristiano, “the world’s best player”, being part of my club and my family. i don’t like his style of play, i don’t like his crybaby ways and i certainly don’t like the fact that he’s going to be here until 2021.
with all this being said, please don’t attempt to convince me otherwise. if you idolise him, that’s fine. if you want him here, that’s fine. i’m not enforcing my opinion, so don’t try to enforce yours.

What does Arsenal’s loss to Manchester United means for Mikel Arteta
Following an amazing run of 10 games unbeaten across all competitions, Arsenal finds themselves with two losses in their last three played; these last two defeats coming against the clubs they are trying to push out of the top spots in order to get themselves into one.
A five-goal thriller played out at Old Trafford to end off proceedings of Matchday 14 in the Premier League. Emile Smith Rowe opened the scoring in the first half with the weirdest goal of the last decade.
This was soon cancelled out by the home side when Bruno Fernandes equalised just before the halftime break. As we’ve come to know, the momentum was then with Manchester United and the second half kicked off with them on the front foot. Not even seven minutes into the second half and United’s star man came to the party to score his 800 career goal — Cristiano Ronaldo gave his team the lead — but the drama and action were far from over.Soon after, within two minutes to be precise, Martin Odegaard levelled the scoreline for the second time on the night and the game was 2-2.Unfortunately, the Gunner who was a hero turned into the villain and was the cause for Man United to receive a penalty with 20 minutes left on the clock. Ronaldo didn’t need a second invite and converted the chance from the spot. This was the final goal of the game and the scoreline reflected 3-2 to Man United — the Gunners first loss against them after going seven unbeaten. What does this loss mean now for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal? It means that the Gunners will struggle or even go as far as failing to reach the top four. If Champions League football is the goal for next season, the goal might be missed altogether.Mikel Arteta and his men have played all of the traditional top-six clubs and have only won one game. The rest: they lost all without even savouring a point from any of the encounters. This could already show us that the goal of Champions League football or even Europa League football might not be achieved for next season. The opportunity of them making a European spot is not gone but the light is fading with each clash against competitors vying for the same spots, lost.If they can keep winning the others around the league and chip in with one or two wins against a top-six rival then they are again in business. But another loss against any of them again in the reverse fixtures coming up and we could probably be prepping for a new manager to take over at the Emirates. pg เว็บตรง ไม่ผ่านเอเย่นต์

United RoundUp Blog. 01
Hello, everyone and welcome to this weeks United RoundUp where I, Ethan Hibbert, speak to some of the most influential people around the club. And today we have a man larger than life, arguably the greatest player to have ever played the game and Manchester United’s new number 7, the return of the king, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo: Ahh yes thank you, thanks for having me.
Ethan: No problems Cristiano, so I’ll start by saying that wow you look amazing in the United shirt again, how has the family settled into Manchester again?
Ronaldo: Yes, it’s incredible to be back here, the family is well, we hope to be here for a few years and see where the path takes us and hopefully have much success here at this great club.
Ethan: You talk about success, how important is it for you?
Ronaldo: Its everything, we play football to win trophies, to have memories, to have fun and to experience those incredible moments. Being up there with the Portugal national team a few years ago was a feeling I will never feel again…… so emotional, happy, and amazing. Hopefully I can do the same here, I feel good, I want to win, I always want to win and with the team at this club we can achieve great things.
Ethan: Some encouraging words for the supporters there. So, Manchester United have another Champions League fixture this week, many say you’re the greatest Champions League player of all time, you’ve won it five times, once with United in 2008, you’re also the top goal scorer ever in the competition, how special is the Champions League for you, but more importantly for Manchester United this season.
Ronaldo: Well, yes, I’ve won it a few times, with United and Madrid of course, the records are incredible, but I always want more. This team has what it takes to reach the top and to lift that trophy again. This trophy is what the club should always be fighting for and the one I always want the most so to bring it home to Manchester again would be a dream.
Ethan: We can all dream can’t we. Well Cristiano you love a good goal or two in the Champions League, what would be your pick of the bunch as your best.
Ronaldo: ooo that’s a tough one, the winning penalty in 2015 against Atletico Madrid was amazing, I’ve scored a hattrick against Bayern which was phenomenal, but my best would ever to be 2009, semi-final against Porto away, the long shot, when I hit it I knew it was flying into the top left and there was nothing the keeper could do at all to stop it.
Ethan: All those goals, wow, there’s 800 more that are all just as amazing as well which is breath-taking. Well, Cristiano, I thank you for your time today it’s been incredible and hopefully we can catch up again soon, maybe with that trophy in your hands.
Thank you everybody for today, I’d like to thank all our partners in TeamViewer, Kohler and Adidas for sponsoring the club and if you would like any gameday tickets or merchandise head over to Manutd.com now.
We’ll be back next week with your next United RoundUp guest.

The group has been accomplishing amazing outcomes after Hwang got the group together with three successes and one misfortune. Hwang, who had his first objective in quite a while EPL debut game against Watford in September, has turned into a significant aggressor of the group in the blink of an eye with three objectives in four games. In the EPL scoring positioning, he is tied for the seventh spot with Son Heung-min and Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Saturday, the 25-year-old footballer made three shots on track out of five shootings, totally changing the appraisal of his shooting capacity. He tracked down the net twice by getting a pass in the wake of getting behind a safeguard with a quick speed and tracking down a vacant spot. In the twentieth moment of the primary half, he tracked down a vacant spot between two guarded players and got the objective from Raul Jiménez to kick the ball to the left corner of the goal line with his right foot.
Hwang scored again in the thirteenth moment of the second half with a score of 1-1 when Jiménez got behind three protective players and spilled into the center by moving from the right half of the goal line to the left to get a pass. The Bull is running like insane, said the nearby pundits in regards to Hwang's exceptional presentation from forceful spilling to a fragile completion. Keylor Navas 9- Didn’t had much to do, because Liverpool made only 1 shot on goal and Keylor saved it. Did pretty well by corners. Had no chances by Mane’s goal.
Daniel Carvajal 7- Was unlucky to get injured in the final again and needed to go off already in the 37th minute. In those 37 minutes Carvajal played well, but made a really weird mistake where he made a high poor pass to Ramos and gave a corner away.
Raphael Varane 9- Great performance. Was very concentrated, didn’t make any mistakes and defended really well.
Sergio Ramos 9- Great performance by the captain. Great defending, no mistakes. And everyone who says that his foul on Salah was brutal and he injured him on purpose, either is a hypocrite and says this just because it’s Ramos and Real Madrid or never played football.
Marcelo 9- Amazing performance. Assist by Bale’s 1st goal. Very dangerous in attack and did his job in defense.
Luka Modric 10- Great performance by the Croatian. He and Benzema were the only players who was able to deal with Liverpool’s high pressure at the beginning of the match. Was very active throughout the whole match.
Casemiro 8- He started the match pretty poorly, Liverpool’s high pressure made him a lot of problems. But when Liverpool moved back a bit he made his job really well.
Toni Kroos 9- Started the match really poorly with few terrible passes, but then came back to his usual self and dominated the midfield and made few great passes.
Isco 7- The worst Real Madrid player in this match. Made few bad passes and lost few balls at the beginning of the match. Improved later in the first half, had 2 great chances to score, but didn’t use them.
Karim Benzema 10- One of the heroes of the match. He was very active, as I mentioned before, he and Modric were the only players who were able to deal with Liverpool’s high pressure at the beginning of the match, made few really good passes, great pressing and he used Karius’ terrible mistake.
Cristiano Ronaldo 8- He was active, made few good shots, but also wasted few good one.
Nacho Fernandez 8- He came in for the injured Carvajal. Although it’s not his nominal position he was doing really well as usually. Made few good crosses into the box and even had a decent shot which went just wide.
Gareth Bale 10- Man of the match. Scored a beautiful bicycle kick goal and added another one with a very powerful shot from the 20th meter.
Marco Asensio 5- No mistakes.

World Cup Games 2-4: Late Heartbreak But Worth the Wait
Egypt vs. Uruguay (0-1)
Uruguay and an Egyptian side sans Salah duked it out this morning, and almost made it not worth waking up at 5am see the action. Cavani and Suarez had a difficult time getting shots on target, and everyone was waiting for Mo Salah to make his World Cup debut. You could hear the Egyptian fans chanting “Praise be Salah” and “As-Salah-Alaikum.” I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure they worshipped Salah in like a religious way.
That debut would have to wait for a few days as Egypt for the better part of 87 minutes held off Uruguay’s advances. The star of the match was not PSG star striker Edinson Cavani or Barcelona striker Luis Suárez; rather, it was the Egyptian keeper Mohamed El-Shenawy, who I’ve come to lovingly call “Gumby.” After parrying shot after shot from Uruguay, it looked as Egypt might begin their World Cup dream with a tie against the favorites.
Tumblr media
Those dreams faded as Giménez sunk his header off one of the final corners of the game just minutes before the game’s end. Fret not, because Egypt are not done yet. They stood strong against a more skilled and experienced Uruguay, all without their star player, and that speaks volumes about their desire to remain in this tournament.
Let’s also be glad Suárez didn’t bite anybody.
Morocco vs. Iran (0-1)
Heartbreak again reared it’s ugly head for Morocco in the final minutes of stoppage time as Iran tested the North African defense with a final cross that led to this tournament’s first own goal. In Los Angeles where I live the passion was palpable. I don’t know what was deeper, the Iranian backline or all the V-necks people wore in the bar where I watched the game.
Considering who Morocco and Iran have to face next in their group stage matches (Portugal and Spain), this was the game that mattered for these two sides. This game was for third place and for pride. And it appears now that Morocco will have to go back to having pride in their Instagram videos where barbers give them fade haircuts.
Portugal vs. Spain (3-3)
For some this game marked the true beginning of the World Cup: two veteran teams with star power playing beautiful soccer. And these teams delivered. This game was very much like the NBA finals between the Warriors and the Cavaliers. Spain, much the Warriors, returned to their tiki-taka ways, connecting short and long passes and scoring three glorious goals. But they could not stop Cristiano Ronaldo, the LeBron James of soccer, and those 10 other guys whose names I can’t remember.
This draw does not affect these two teams greatly as they will likely both win their next two games and move on to the Round of 16, but now they must focus on scoring as many goals as possible against Morocco and Iran to ensure they win the group on goal differential to secure an (ideally) easier game in the knockout stage. Look forward to 4 more amazing shoot-out in the coming week.
Most importantly, let’s all take a screenshot of our World Cup tables, because right now, and only right now, Iran is leading Group B. Take a blurry picture, because much like Bigfoot, this will disappear quickly and without proof, no one will believe you.

Premier League: How do Liverpool compare to best teams?
Tumblr media
Which personnel is the suitable of the Premier League generation?
Liverpool ran away with their first high-flight title in 30 years, nonetheless how attain they compare with the suitable Premier League teams?

Having pipped United to the title by a single point and with Wenger now the vital international manager to eradicate the English high-flight title, Arsenal went on to total a home double that season, beating Newcastle in the FA Cup final.

Portuguese manager Mourinho indubitably made an entrance to English football when appointed as Chelsea boss the summer season after guiding the unfancied Porto to Champions League glory.
Bankrolled by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, Mourinho constructed a Blues machine that gained the title from holders Arsenal by 12 sides. They conceded a miserly 15 goals in 38 video games and kept 25 clear sheets – both records that composed stand.
Chelsea misplaced merely one game all campaign – in opposition to Manchester City in October – and picked up their first high-flight title for 50 years. They went on to protect their crown the following season.
