Netanyahu has issued a statement telling Gazans to leave now, because they will target each and every corner of the Gaza Strip. He and most of the media conveniently leave out that the entirety of the Gaza Strip is surrounded by a 65 km wall, which they have used to enforce a 17 years blockade, making it the world's largest open air prison. That's why the freedom fighters had to fly over it in hand gliders. Unless the Israeli government plans to open a humanitarian corridor, which it historically has refused, this is a cynical threat. It's psychological warfare to tell palestinians they will attempt to carry out their genocide.
This comes in the heels of the operation Al-Aqsa Flood. For the first time, Palestinians have managed to regain control of occupied territory. and tore down the Erez checkpoint. Latest reports say the freedom fighters are 10 km (6 miles) from reaching the West Bank. On Friday (06/10), at dawn, the IOF was still fighting palestinian soldiers in at least 22 locations near the Gaza Strip.
Gazans who have historically had their right to movement supressed stepped out of the walls for the first time in their lives. Palestinian bulldozers tore down pieces of the wall. Freedom fighters have infiltrated Asqalan prison. 35 soldiers were captured so far. In 2011, a single soldier was exchanged for 1.027 palestinian prisoners. The resistance managed to catch the israelis by surprise in an amazing victory.
Campaigns of disinformation are already being pushed by zionists on social media. Baseless claims of sexual assault against Israeli hostages are being fed to the media, and the only source is racist stereotypes. Meanwhile, videos of Israeli settlers dessecrating Palestinian corpses are ignored (warning, this link leads to a very graphic video). The Palestine tower in Gaza, which housed several media offices, has been leveled in a clear effort to stop reporting.
528 palestinians were killed since the beginning of the year. A little over half of this number comes as casualties from yesterday's invasion. Their martyrdom is a result of brutality routinely carried out against Palestinians.
There's no comparing both sides. While Hamas had to cut holes through less protected bits of the wall caging the Gaza Strip in order to carry out the attack, the Israeli government started carpet bombing and cut access to electricity, leaving wounded Palestinians with no medical care, shutting down ventilators and dialysis machines and harming clean water distribution at a snap of their fingers. Checkpoints across the West Bank have been closed, denying access to hospitals to the entire palestinian population.
On the other hand, settlers are being carried out in planes by their native european governments.
As Mohammed El-Kurd has said, "There's a population that lives inside a cage, without citizenship, without right to movement, without access to clean water, and there's a population that enjoys its full rights."
International support is essential. All eyes must be on Palestine. People should be ashamed of showing support for the zionist occupation. $3.8 billion in military aid are sent every year from USAmerican tax payer money, and the person who pushed for the creation of this aid was the old spineless clown that's president right now.

"THIS IS FOR US, GENOCIDE"
NATIVE HAWAIIANS FEAR MAUI WILDFIRE DESTRUCTION WILL LEAD TO THEIR CULTURAL ERASURE

Keʻeaumoku Kapu has been handing out water, clothes, and emergency supplies to families in need out of the Walgreens parking lot in Lahaina, Maui. He said it is a way to keep himself occupied while he grieves the losses of his community.
"I'm afraid we're not going to recover from this," said Kapu, speaking to CBC from his cellphone at the distribution centre Monday.
Kapu is a Kanaka Maoli (a Hawaiian word for their Indigenous people) community leader in Lahaina, and head of the Nā ʻAikāne o Maui Cultural Center — which was destroyed by the fire that ripped through Lahaina.
While members of the community are still grappling with their immediate needs and the death toll from the fire is still being counted, Kapu said he is "frantic" to make sure he is included in the conversations that are happening about what is next for Lahaina.
"I'm hoping that we can get over this hurdle, but at the same time the fear of being erased ..." said Kapu.
"Because our island is now turned into a cheaper commodity because there's nothing more important to save here, you have people coming in willing to buy burned-out places."
Maui land grabs
Kapu said his family and other members of his community have been contacted by realtors asking to buy their burned-up property.
The office of the governor of Hawaii released a statement warning Maui residents about predatory buyers trying to capitalize on their fear and the financial uncertainty for those who have lost their homes.
In a press conference Wednesday, Governor Josh Green said he is working with the attorney general to put a moratorium on property sales in West Maui.
Social media posts from residents are pleading with people to not sell their properties to these realtors, fearing it will lead to Native Hawaiians being displaced from their homelands.
A non-profit organization called Hawai'i Alliance for Progressive Action has started an online petition to call on governments to use their powers to stop Maui land grabs, support displaced families and ensure decisions are made with Native Hawaiians at the table.
Kapu is urging people not to sell but is worried that people's fear and desperation may drive them to accept these offers.
"You're gonna make our children tomorrow orphans within their own land," said Kapu.
Lahaina holds deep cultural significance to the Hawaiian people and was once the capital of the Hawaiian kingdom. The city is where King Kamehameha III had his royal residence and modernized the Hawaiian central government with the creation of Hawaii's constitutional order.
Many Hawaiians still recognize it as the original capital today, long after the capital was moved to Honolulu in 1845.
The fire destroyed Lahaina's historic Front Street, where the cultural centre Kapu ran was located. Inside, the building held many cultural artifacts, like feather capes and helmets, implements, maps and documents.
They were all destroyed.
"Our place was a living place, it was a living museum. It was things that you could actually touch, books that you could actually read, maps that showed a lot of families where they originated from," said Kapu.
But the loss is bigger than that.
Kapu describes the centre as a gathering place for Indigenous people internationally, where culture was shared for the next generations and people could learn from each other.
Kapu is heartbroken over the loss, and holds himself responsible for the care of the objects inside, though he barely escaped trying to save it, only having time to grab his laptop as he ran out.
Ten minutes later the building was engulfed in flames.
"For Lahaina, I'm afraid what this place can turn into now," said Kapu, who worries the historic buildings that have been lost could be replaced by private development.
"This is, for us, genocide."
Maui Fires Linked To Colonization
The devastation of the Maui fires is directly tied to colonial greed, said Uahikea Maile, who is Kanaka Maoli from Maunawili, Oahu, and an assistant professor of Indigenous politics in the department of political science at the University of Toronto.
Maile said pre-colonial Lahaina was a wetland ecosystem abundant with life and that was one of the reasons it was chosen for the royal residence. But Maile said in the late 19th and early 20th centuries white-owned sugar plantations on Maui started to illegally divert water to their crops, drying up the wetlands.
"It's really devastating to think about the situation that over time transformed this place because it was strategically and purposefully altered to feed colonial forms of profiteering and wealth accumulation and greed," said Maile.
These plantations also introduced non-native plant species for animal grazing that have helped fuel the Maui fires, said Maile.
"The question of what to do next? How to heal? How to regenerate? And how to rebuild? Is a really crucial one that is on the minds of everyone," said Maile.
Maile can see the island's colonial history repeating itself with realtors exploiting the wildfire devastation to generate future wealth.
"It's a really important time in Hawaiian history to ensure that our people have a say in their own lands," said Maile.
Native Hawaiian Land Control
But how much control Hawaiians have over their land can be a complicated question.
The first concept of private land ownership in Hawaii can be traced back to the Mahele, or division of lands, in 1848, where King Kamehameha III divided the land into three categories: Crown, government, and lands for the Hawaiian chiefs.
Lance D. Collins is a private practice attorney in Maui who researches Hawaiian law during the American colonial period.
Collins is also Kapu's attorney, representing him in cases to show his family's claim to their ancestral land in Kaua'ula Valley.
Through the Mahele, about one-third of the land was given to Hawaiian families. That land has been passed down, usually to a person's children, but after several generations and for those without children it has led to confusion over who has interest in the land, said Collins.
"Most Hawaiians know which lands they have an interest in, but as long as there's no contest over use, there's no issue," said Collins.
The state is obligated to preserve and protect Native Hawaiian traditional and customary rights. Meaning if a private development was proposed on a parcel of land that was used for traditional practices, this right would limit the developers ability to exclude Hawaiians from the land.
"There is a tremendous amount of opportunity for the Hawaiian people and for the Lahaina community, and there's also grave, grave danger," said Collins.

Something else that I observed at the last JIB con:
When Jared or Jensen walk down the hallway to get to the photo room or something, everyone is waiting in that hallway to see them. It gets pretty crowded. A number of security guys are at the spot. Jared and / or Jensen pass and then the crowd disperses.
At the creation con in Honolulu: nothing. Jared and Jensen walked down that hallway and no one cared. (Of course, people looked at them, but no sudden crowd or a sea of cameras)
They even used the same toilet like all other male people.
I'm curious what the situation will be like at the Purgatory Con and Austin Con.
I'll add an update.

(Henry decides to bite Moon. He grabs Moon before he could escape and bit his neck, Moon waited to be enthralled, but nothing happened.)

Moon: I don't know.
Sun: Wait a minute, I just remembered that you and I had an antivirus installed!
Henry: So we would've never been able to turn you regardless?
Sun: I guess not.

(Bloodmoon starts crying in fear.)
Eclipse:(mocking) Oh, are you crying? Are you a soft little snowflake, just like Lunar?
Bloodmoon: (tears in his eyes) Who's Lunar?
Eclipse: He's my first creation, and the code you'll eventually share a robot with and will one day replace.
Bloodmoon: Do I have to replace them, what if you just give me my own body?
Eclipse: I will also delete you if you question me and my decisions!
Bloodmoon:(scared) Sorry again, Master!
"Unlike Lunar, I made sure Bloodmoon became a proper villain, my mistake with Lunar was that I gave them love and care, it was fake, but still love and care, so I corrected my mistakes by controlling him with hatred and fear instead."
(We see a time skip montage with each time skip having Bloodmoon looking more like is present day appearance than the last, it stops at Eclipse and Bloodmoon the night before Bloodmoon was downloaded into Lunar.)
Eclipse: Alright, Bloodmoon. I'm almost done with the programming that will download you into Lunar and take control over him at night. You remember what to do?
Bloodmoon: Yes, drink as much blood as I can, trick them into having one of them watch over me alone, and enthrall all of them into your vampiric army to help you rule the world.
Eclipse: I'm glad you're smarter than Lunar.(Intimidating) Now, do you remember what will happen if you fail me?
Bloodmoon: Yes, if I fail you, you will delete me...
Eclipse: Right. I'll download you into Lunar tomorrow...
(It cuts back to the present with the mapbot gang entering the library.)
Eclipse: Thanks to the way I controlled Bloodmoon, the plan went perfectly, I just didn't know Bloodmoon would betray me.
Bloodmoon: It was obvious that any person with a sliver of self worth would betray you, you're just too presumptuous and narcissistic to realize it!
Eclipse: What?
Bloodmoon: You heard me, I was planning on betraying you ever since you started abusing me, I've been playing along and the only reason I put up with your abuse was to create some codes and treat them a million times better than you ever did!
Roxy: Dammit, Eclipse. This is all your fault!
Eclipse: Whatever!
Moon: I think I have a solution, I have a friend who's good at making robots, he can give you and your friends your own bodies.
Bloodmoon: Really?
Moon: Really...
Bloodmoon: What's the catch?
Moon: The catch is that you and your friends can only drink from bloodbags, not humans or animals.
Bloodmoon: Okay, that's fair.
(The crew head back to the Pizza Plex where Moon's friend, Melvin(mapbot oc) gave Bloodmoon, Draco, Henry, Kratos, Athena, Diana, Archer, and Phoenix their own bodies(Bloodmoon's body looks the same as the one he had during his blood sucking spree time while the others are animatronic vampire bats of different colors) (Draco: Green, Kratos: Brown, Diana: Blue, Phoenix: White, Archer: Purple, Anthea: Gray, and Henry: Orange). Melvin then retransfers Lunar, Monty, Roxy, Freddy, Earth, Chica, and Eclipse to their original bodies.)
Lunar: Thanks, Melvin.
Melvin: You're welcome.
(Eclipse is banned from his lab so he can't make anymore creation that he'll end up abusing. It cuts to Bloodmoon and his bats in their new room, they put up posters of famous places in the world.)
Bloodmoon: One day, we'll visit all of these places.

I found an article that mentioned what Napoleon thought about Jesus, and I thought y'all might find as it fascinating as I did.
Near the end of his life, the exiled Emperor Napoleon had a conversation with one of his generals about the deity of Christ.
General Bertrand: "I can not conceive, sire, how a great man like you can believe that the Supreme Being ever exhibited himself to men under a human form, with a body, a face, mouth, and eyes.
Napoleon Bonaparte: "Let Jesus be whatever you please – the highest intelligence, the purest heart, the most profound legislator, and, in all respects, the most singular being who has ever existed – I grant it.
General Bertrand: "Still, he was simply a man, who taught his disciples, and deluded credulous people, as did Orpheus, Confucius, Brama."
To this Napoleon responded by saying:
"I know men, and I tell you Jesus Christ was not a man.
Superficial minds see a resemblance between Christ and the founders of empires and the gods of other religions. That resemblance does not exist.
There is between Christianity and other religions the distance of infinity.

TFW you've been using your face from a 2020/2021 illustration as a profile icon for years now---
My goodness, to think that I've been using this ancient 2020 illustration as my profile icon for most places .... In fact, hERE HERE - WOULD YOU ALL LIKE TO SEE THIS NOW TWO YEAR OLD PIECE? It's large, so under the cut it goes!
yes, this is a princess Optimus Prime thing I used to have ....
Technically, this was finished on January 24th of 2021, but I mostly consider it to be a 2020 piece since i started its creation on November 16th of the prior year, and also the general vibes of this are indeed very 2020 - in that Brainne was filled with nothing but girls and Transformers!!! ROBOTS, MAN! ROBOTS! still hasn't changed much.
It was also the first piece where I began attempting some rendering with alcohol markers and took the medium it more seriously! I just had a very humble collection of like, 6 or fewer Copics and the old version of the 120 Ohuhu bullet nib markers! That was even before the Honolulu series was released at all...
I remember that for some reason, friends and strangers would tell me that my art style resembled that of retro 80s-90s anime, so I began leaning into that heavily with intention! Interesting enough, people now tell me that my works now possess a sense of nostalgia?? Not quite sure how that developed ... (◎ ◎)
Anyhow, yes, some background behind the icon I've been using for everything since pulling a "I lived bitch" in 2021 out of the blue (according to someone within the Hylics community). Definitely time for some updates! But I find it very valuable to keep around your old works as a reference of my progress and a time capsule into certain time periods in my life .... (๑˘︶˘๑)

Defiance

All of Mom's sculptures came with a short paragraph or two of story, printed out in a calligraphic font on an artificially aged, stained piece of paper.
Only a few of those stories are preserved on her website, but even for the ones that aren't, the story was written. For this one, since I do not have that story, I shall tell the story of this piece's creation, as I'm pretty sure I'm the only witness.
We were at Hickam AFB, in Honolulu. My father was on TDY to Korea, and my sister was living off base with friends.
The sculpture of the dragon was complete, but it hadn't been baked yet: a dragon rampant, claws out, wings flared.
She put it in the oven to bake - polymer clay bakes at a reasonable 260+ degrees F, in a household oven - and waited. A half hour later, she takes it out and yells in frustration and anger.
The body had settled downwards from its intended position. She'd placed material underneath to prevent that but it had been insufficient. The clay had cured with the dragon in the wrong pose.
What's worse...
"It looks like it's taking a shit!" my mother yelled in frustration.
She was livid. As it cooled, she took the sculpture, about 10" from crown to feet, and rended it limb from limb with her bare hands.
I was a twitchy little thing back then, in my high school years, so I went for a walk.
When I came back, she had dug the dismembered polymer clay dragon out of the kitchen trash and was patching it together, muttering about how furious Dad was going to be when he got back.
The forelimbs were ruined, so she moved the wings forward to the shoulder instead of the back. She placed the dragon on an incline, with the head pointed straight down, and that solved the posture issue.
Then she sculpted an elf staring back up at the dragon, and "Defiance" was born.
When Dad came back, he didn't even realize it was missing limbs.
