Alicent's redesigns were really fun to do because she has these big swings in her style as her allegiance shifts over the course of Season 1. Betrayals, lies and parents who wanted their grandchildren on the throne no matter what Alicent wanted all factored into her decisions and life's disappointments. Cheers to the Neil Gaiman-jumper easter egg inside of Dead Boy Detectives.

Costume designer Kelli Dunsmore wanted to include a subtle easter egg in the show referencing someone called Neil Gaiman. So she browsed through some of his pictures and came across this jumper that she later chose as the main piece of costume for Dagfinn, the lighthouse keeper.

Final art for Sailor Cosmos! I have been wanting to draw a design for her for years and finally made it a reality.

“This theatrical costume is made of velvet and features two pieces that consist of a bodice and a skirt. The bodice has an off-the-shoulder neckline as well as lace applique throughout. The three-quarter sleeves have lace cuffs and there are hook-and-eye closures down the center front. The skirt has lace applique around the hem and hook-and-eye closures down the center back. It also has a train.”

Hi there!! I was wondering if I could cosplay one of your designs, specifically Chel in her huipil. I’m a huge fan of your designs!

Thank you! I’m all for people making cosplays with my designs! My wish is that anyone who does, does so knowing that since many are historically inspired illustrations they may be representing a very specific region and culture. If that’s you, amazing. If it’s not… maybe think a little longer on the why and how, maybe there’s something you want to adjust after you’ve done some research. My only “hard no” is my Tiger Lily illustrations because those are straight regalia and very explicitly not costumes. My other designs generally have some sort of character specific twist to them that leaves more room for interpretation.

Hopefully that all makes sense? I’m not much of a writer I’m afraid, so hopefully my point doesn’t come across weird or condescending. These things might be things you have already taken into consideration and that’s great! I just want to make sure the bases are covered and anyone else who might be looking for the same answer goes away with my blessing and my forewarning. Happy creating!

So happy to finally show off my final piece for the Tome of Pacts zine I feature in.

This is Hagne, the Herald of Rot, and faithful servant to her Patron, Cicardia. Her look was inspired by several things -- death masks, pomegranates, worn bronze, flies and centipedes. The butterflies she carries feed on death and decay. Hagne herself felt the cold embrace of the grave, but was blessed to find herself given another chance. She will not fail.

I am so honored to have been a part of this project, and this is one of my favorite pieces to date. I hope you guys enjoy it as well. :)

Inspired by several folks spectating elesa’s reaction to eelektrik’s evolution and the glowing boa comic! I want to draw more elesa. She’s so funny.
