#hidden agenda #hidden agenda the series #joong archen #dunk natachai #aka very convoluted flirting strategies #i really like how needlessly chaotic this is already #i'm not even sure i want to get an explanation why joke doesn't directly hit on him before starting this whole thing #but i enjoy how charmed he is but also isn't so unrealistically enfatuated that he'd let bs slide #and i am not certain how airheaded zo is to not catch the i love you in mandarin by joke #love the petulant way he grabs his coffee (also in a way that screams 'I drink take out coffee a lot' - which probably is just dunk)#hmmm #first time i am watching a show with joongdunk and i enjoy them #some of the show feels a bit like it was made 2 years ago but it is pretty solid and i like the silliness of it all #i just hope nita doesn't have to suffer under their combined weirdness - i felt sorry when zo ripped the strap on her bag after not accepti #ng her refusal #but i appreciate that the show knows that he isn #t perfect - he did slap joke after all #also: i changed the font i used which took up 80% of the time working on this aka 25 minutes #still not 100% sure but the text reads crisper than on my older sets

Currently trying to do a caffeine detox which means I've become entirely useless

If your average MTG game does not include a twenty minute intermission where your (step)father and sister pull out google and debate a really weird technicality, then you're probably playing it wrong

#ok SO #i still don't fully understand the conclusion we came to but here's how i think it went #we played 2v2. me and sister against dad and aunt #each team takes their turn simultaneously. see MTG two headed giant format #Sister plays Kutzil‚ Malamet Exemplar #3/3 legendary cat creature #it has the following written on the card: 'Your opponents can't cast spells during your turn'.#However #stepdad had an instant he wanted to counter her casting it with #we said 'but you countering it is casting a spell AFTER it has entered the battlefield. you can't cast spells on her turn'#and he was like 'actually no because there's stack priority order within turns and it prioritizes instants'#'and technically that ability has not activated yet as this is not resolved'#hence a twenty minute argument. I made some coffee and got a muffin lmao.#i still lowkey think he might have been wrong but i was not about to get involved /lh #this was a five hour game #as they tend to be #just standard 40 card decks we built from prerelease packs #i usually go vampire deck. plains/swamp w/ elenda as my commander #thank GOD this wasn't commander lmao we'd still be playing it #but this was standard and i went for red/green loosely dinosaur deck #we got the lost caverns of ixalan set #opened packs. had an hour to build a deck. played it #idk i fucking love mtg #i know it's such a nerd thing but idc i'm on pokemon tumblr in 2023. what do you want from me.

every single time i forget how much magicians apprentice/witchs familiar revolves around davros and its such a shame. wish it was just my fave fucked up poly situationship running around getting into shenanigans.

the other week my dad’s aunts(sisters of his dad, who died before i was born) came to visit and it was aunt jan who’s like 79 and a democrat and lives in california and aunt karen who’s like 84 and a republican and lives in idaho. and they had driven across the country in aunt jan’s subaru with the “make america kind again” bumper sticker and aunt karen told a story about how when she was 20 years old she was supposed to go grocery shopping and when she got to the grocery store she parked next to another car that was the same make and model as hers and that person’s groceries were already inside their vehicle just sitting there and she tried her key on their car and it worked so she simply stole their groceries out of there, re-locked their car, and used the money she had planned to spend on groceries to go bowling instead

#aunt karen also went on a rant about how ‘the news won’t tell you’ about all the ghost guns used in shootings #and i was like now wait a minute aunt karen every time i read about a shooting in the news #it always mentions what type of gun he was using and how it was made and whether he acquired it legally #and she was like ‘well it’s happening a lot and they’re not talking about it’#and later my grandma(who was also there) told me aunt karen doesn’t even read or watch the news #she just sees posts on instagram about ‘things the news won’t tell you’ and bases her worldview off of that #my grandma also accidentally poured coffee creamer into her water and decided to drink it instead of just pouring it out. fun visit!
