La voiture qui m’a été prêtée avait une commande Sport au centre du tableau de bord qui, une fois pressée change certaines fonctions de la boîte automatique et de la traction intégrale mais qui, selon ce que j’ai pu constater, le change en rien la fermeté de la suspension.

Le système UConnect révisé est encore plus facile que jamais à utiliser et j’ai bien apprécié certaines informations utiles avec la navigation dont la distance entre les rampes d’accès des autoroutes et plus encore. Et si vous vous y connaissez, sachez que le système est compatible Apple CarPlay et Android Auto. Le seul point négatif, c’est que la commande du chauffage des sièges n’est disponible que par toucher à l’écran du centre ce qui peut distraire le conducteur. Quant au coffre, vous constaterez qu’il est assez grand malgré l’intrusion des pentures.

Toutefois, ce que j’ai beaucoup aimé, c’est le silence de roulement et la stabilité de la voiture sur autoroute. J’aime les grandes voitures, je l’avoue. Mais celle-ci m’impressionne beaucoup. Oui, elle est un peu gourmande en ville (FCA Canada en annonce une consommation moyenne de 12,8 L/100 km) mais sur la route, elle fait aussi bien sinon mieux que les 8,7 du constructeur. En ce qui me concerne, j’ai obtenu une moyenne de 11,7 L/100 km alors que l’indicateur au tableau de bord affichait 10,1. Quant à la moyenne sur autoroute, j’ai réussi à la faire baisser à 9,2 en roulant 112 km/h avec le régulateur de vitesse. La consommation pourrait être encore moindre à quelque 100 km/h.
