*No.1 Kort'ta saat 17:00'de başlayacak olan Wimbledon Tek Erkekler Çeyrek Final maçı.
*S Sport 2'den ve TRT Spor Yıldız'dan naklen yayınlanacak olan maç.
*İlk sette 6-4'le gülen taraf Medvedev oldu ve Rus raket 1-0 öne geçti. Erken break avantajını sonuna kadar götürdü ve ilk adımı attı Meddy.
*İkinci seti 6-1'lik üstünlükle tamamlayan Eubanks durumu 1-1'e getirdi. ABD'li raket turnuvadaki ışıltılı serüvenini sürdürmek istercesine müthiş bir üstünlük kurdu. Maç buradan sonra farklı bir havaya bürünebilir.
*Üçüncü set 6-4'le Eubanks'in oldu ve ABD'li oyuncu maçı 2-1'e çevirdi. İlk oyundaki break'i ile avantajı yakaladı. Medvedev rakibini hep geriden takip etmek zorunda kaldı ve hiç break puanı da göremedi. Masalın tamamlanmasına 1 set kaldı.
*Dördüncü sette 7-6[7-4] ile galip geldi Medvedev ve 2-2'lik dengeyi sağladı. Bu sefer yakın ve ortada giden bir bölüm izledik. Tie-break'te 3-3'ten sonra Rus oyuncu 4-1'lik bir sekansa imza attı ve mücadeleye tutundu. Artık son set zamanı.
*Son seti 6-1 alan Medvedev 3-2 kazandı ve yarı finale yükseldi. Eubanks fazlasıyla düşen oyunu ile buraya kadar dedi. Medvedev de şampiyon oyuncu refleksi ile işi bitirdi.

It all might have come down to the pressure points once again, regardless the shot was fired from the baseline or the net. Or, in A. Vukic's case, it would be some working unreturned serves.
A. Vukic's serves were the savior in critical moments, including in saving Eubanks' 2 match points. Even if Eubanks scored 5 more aces than A. Vukic, he fell short in winning his points from his first serves by 3%. On the other hand, A. Vukic stood out in his second serves by winning 60% of his points from there, while Eubanks' 7 double faults could not carry him under pressure.
Furthermore, Eubanks had his chances by having 6 opportunities to break, but he could only convert 1 at the second set in response to A. Vukic's break. Even that break was a consequence of his errors (mostly forehands), which non-conversion (inclusive of 2 match points) was proven costly by the end of the match. A. Vukic, however, dominated the flow from the baseline and successfully made Eubanks move forward instead with some questionable rates, hence he could still convert 80% of his break points, including the break for the match.
Brandon Holt will be A. Vukic's next opponent in the semifinals, as he defeated Li Tu 6-4, 6-4 earlier. While this could be a progress check for Brandon throughout the whole swing, A. Vukic's depth and solid first serves in the match would prove it will not be an easy path for Brandon.
