Moms Across America Tested New Children’s Cereal & Found Poisons Like Heavy Metals, Arsenic, Aluminum, Cadmium, 8 Different Pesticides (Some Known To Change Sex Hormones) & More
All this in 1 cereal box
Testing reveals ‘General Mills Trix Loaded Cereal’ is actually “loaded with heavy metals and pesticides” also contains “Artificial dyes, preservatives, chemicals” - We found arsenic and cadmium 200-400% higher than what the EPA allows in drinking water - We found aluminum levels to be 1,365% to 1,650% higher than what the EPA allows in drinking water - We found glyphosate levels 158 to 174 times higher than has been shown in animal studies to cause sex hormone changes and organ damage when animals ate 0.1 parts per billion of glyphosate for 2 years of the glyphosate herbicide, the the formulation. And we also found 8 different pesticides. One of them is an ingredient used in shampoo that kills lice, and the other one is a fungicide known to cause endocrine disruption and hormone disruption in humans and wildlife at very low levels. So, clearly, this is not a great way to start your day with toxic chemicals, and we call on General Mills to get to the source of why their cereal is so contaminated and to do things like test fertilizers because we think that's the source of the heavy metal contamination. This is a very serious issue because heavy metals can cause neurological damage and developmental disorders that can be lifelong. So this is very serious. We are in a national physical and mental health crisis in America, and we need manufacturers like General Mills who have the resources to actually do something about cleaning up their the food supply and the products that they offer.“
I don't trust people who say things like "afab experience" because in most cases they actually mean "white, perfectly perisex afab experience" and even then, it's too specific.
Because I'm not white, so I never got the "weak little girl" thing. I wasn't white feminine enough, even though I was quite feminine as a child.
And while I don't consider myself intersex, my body has produced more testosterone than would be the normal range for someone going through a "female" puberty ever since I was going through puberty. Definitely not enough for it to have strong masculinizing effects, it's just also quite androgynous in an additive way.
I do not feel represented by most things that people are talking about like it's "universal" for "afab" individuals, while both being "afab" and having gone through "female" puberty.
as a man*, men stink so much worse than women* on average im sorry but its true
this is from a trans man perspective, my smells have gotten "heavier" some in a nice way and some not so much. i would be really curious to know from a trans woman's perspective after being on hormones for a specified (by her) amount of time any changes in her smell she's noticed. (and compare on average by what month milestone less researched changes like smell occur.)
additionally: i am very interested in transsexuality regarding specifically hormone therapy although surgery as well because i have a hyperfixation/possibly special interest (have been fascinated w it for like 10+ years) in puberty and the change of human anatomy/physiology. puberty is my biggest interest so trans hrt goes into that but i'm also interested in how progressive disease changes the body, in how exercise/diet change changes the body, and in other more niche things like how blood type can effect someone aside from donor ability or how human hair patterns work. basically um. anatomy nerd with a major fixation on puberty.
*in this post, man and woman refers to hormonal sex rather than psychological gender, chromosome sex, or other sex characteristics. it is about hormones. all genders are valid and if you say you are a man/woman/etc. i believe you.
Legal adults can take whatever meds/get whatever surgeries they want, but can we as an LGBT ~community~ please stop pretending that taking hormones and getting SRS changes your biological sex, though? Being a female taking T just makes you a female with higher T, it doesn’t change you into a biological male who produces the male gamete, and vice versa with males and estrogen. A neo-vagina is nothing like a real vagina: it is a surgically created hole that does not self-lubricate and has to be constantly dilated so it doesn’t close in on itself. Barring biological females with a disorder, 99.9% of women do not have to do that. And to say that a penis constructed of skin grafted from an arm and has to be manually inflated is anything like a real penis is laughable as well.
I’m sorry to trans folks who are deeply invested in the narrative that there’s no difference because I truly do know it’s hard for them to know they can never actually be a bio-man/woman, but those are just the plain scientific facts. Denying provable facts helps no one at all, least of all those with dysphoria. Another fact is that sexual attraction is innate and based on those biological characteristics, both primary *and* secondary, and humans have evolved for a long time to largely be able to tell who has what from a split-second glance.
No amount of misrepresenting the science or insisting a being attracted to a feminine man is basically the same as being attracted to women is going to change any of these facts.
Let’s all live in the real world, please!
Girl nobody said in this conversation, not even ONCE, said that taking meds or going thru surgeries CHANGES UR BIOLOGICAL SEX. Being a female taking T doesnt "just makes u a female with higher T" ajshbdfjhasdvf bruh how can u look at this person and go "hmmm yes a Fellow Femoid with just a bit of extra T" awjhegfhjsdv
It doesnt make him any less "biologically female" either but. Actually u know what, maybe changing ur entire hormone regulation system does make u just a little bit "less female"? I mean, look at this man. Explain this, liberals! Did it make his X chromosome disappear? no. Did it magically dispose of his womb? no. Did it magically grow him an Organic, Cruelty FreeTM dick? no. Did it change the way his brain works, his behavior, his physical appearance, physical abilities, etc? absolutely. I think claiming that HRT and SRS "doesnt change ur biology at all" is as insane as claiming that HRT and SRS literally converts/changes ur biological fucking sex.
Im also not sure where in the conversation anyone claimed that there is NO DIFFERENCE between an Organic Vagina and a Faux Vagina (or dick)?? Like its pretty obvious that one is an imitation/mimicry of the other?? They could visually look the same but the function fucking obviously would not be the same?? y r we inventing things to get mad at??
If you genuinely think that the man in the photo did not have even just a little bit of his biology changed then youre equally batshit insane as the trannies who want to guilt u into sex.
Yes, you can be intersex and not consider yourself disabled. There’s no right or wrong answer, you have to understand your own experience and relationship to cultural conceptions of disability, for some it may not hold any importance.
One thing to keep in mind though is that even the label intersex is culturally tied to the medical industry, meaning historically intersex people have been seen as defective because our bodies do not conform to medical/physical and social standards (resulting in abuse and exclusion). I suggest looking into disability justice before coming to any conclusions, and to understand that it is human culture which marginalizes intersex people and disabled people.
I would say if you have access needs in relation to being intersex (this includes hormones, which affect our entire body), but have experienced medical abuse, neglect (denial of issues, ignoring hormonal and physical needs in favour of conformity), had to pay or fight for your right to have access to things you need in relation to being intersex, then claiming the term disabled might be of use to you.
Think of structural issues that have impacted your intersex experience, it may not be relevant to some people, but for some it may be even more relevant than you think. If you’ve said/though “there’s nothing inherently wrong with being intersex, it’s just social perceptions, so I’m not disabled”, question why that does not also apply to disabled people.
My greatest dream is to find my soulmate and life partner; the man who will accept me for the WOMAN I am and invite me into his life. Recently I had the honour of being a bridesmaid at my friend Suzanne’s wedding. She is SO BLESSED to have found such happiness with the love of her life. It brought home to me how important it is to find that special someone. #melissasdreams #melissa johnson #pretty melissa
