Mmmmm, nope! I'm calling ABSOLUTE bullshit on the idea that just because Buck is new to understanding his bisexuality means he HAS to have a long term serious relationship with another man before he can be "ready" for Eddie or he will screw it up. A short term thing makes sense but Buck had BEEN in a long term relationship with Eddie for YEARS and they are already a family unit and have seen each other at their worst. Will they run into bumps? Sure! Any good, healthy relationship does because that's life and that means you are communicating. But don't act like Buck has ZERO awareness of how to be in a relationship with Eddie without dating another man for a fucking year and a half so he can drop him and immediately get with Eddie.

Okay, some Penny from Finally, (already, always), because... well, you'll see. (Eight sentences, but trust me, I tried)

Penny, when inspired to talk about sexual health. 😭😭😭 Have I forgotten whether the idea that Penny's mom gave her extremely thorough sex ed is canon or fanon of headcanon? Yes. Do I need to do a re-read soon? SURE DO.

So, okay, this was written approximately two months ago when I was more actively writing on this story. I've been having some difficulty with reconceptualizing how the entire WOM would have been in different circumstances. I re-read Carry On when I started writing Simon's Two Mums, but most of it has slipped right out of my brain. Partially because I'm finding the somewhat slapdash worldbuilding of the universe difficult to build into a world that can be modified and show more-or-less logical flow-through of circumstances. It feels a bit like I have to build up the entire world from scratch for Carry On and then attempt to figure out how changes of circumstance would change that made up world. Which is hard to do!

Hello and welcome to another week! I'm proud of you for making it this far <3. Thank you to @monbons and @roomwithanopenfire for tagging me. I was actually able to rub my brain cells together for a snippet to share this week!

This is from my ongoing wingfic, which is less of a comprehensive fic and more of a collection of unconnected snippets. Just scenes involving wings with no thread connecting them. In this one, Simon's just come back from a mission and his wings are inflamed and irritated where they meet the skin in his back. Baz takes care of him.

To the six sentences!

For how painful it looks, Simon really has complained very little. A simple Get Well Soon! would take away most of the pain, but Simon hates having spells cast on him. So I don’t, since I’m not in the business of displeasing Simon Snow. Not anymore. Now, I do what I can to take care of him, even when it means rubbing soothing lotion into the stiff muscles, even when it means doing things the Normal way, even when we don't say a word. There's a special kind of intimacy, being the only one allowed to do this.

And that's it! This is my first one, so I'm only just now realizing how truly little you can say with only 6 sentences. Anyway, I hope that's enough of a teaser to entice you into coming back.
